Very quiet, very convenient. Absolutely lovely courtyard for breakfast. I found the beds quite hard but my husband didnt! Will stay again if visiting Nice again!

First off, our stay was great. We would definitely use this hotel again. The location of this hotel is perfect. Everything is in easy walking distance. The room was comfortable, good choice of pillows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. These are first world problems but.....aircon made the room so hot it was unbearable. Wardrobe door was skewiff and hard to move. No fridge, I don't think one was advertised to be fair. There was a safe though, which worked well. Breakfast was basic but adequate, small amount of cooked. Cereals, toast and pastries. Yogurts and dried fruit and nuts. Fruit juice, tea and coffee. There was definitely enough. I wouldn't have said my room was 3 star standard, but I certainly didn't care. It was clean and comfortable.

I would like to rate the Hotel de la Fontaine, “Very Good”, as it was positioned in an ideal location, central but being set just behind the main promonade of Nice, provided both enough quietness, and at the same time was close to plentiful choice of nice restaurants for dining and nice shops. The hotel staff were all so helpful and attentive both night staff&day staff, and made myself feel very welcome. The Hotel de la Fontaine provided great service at all times and included at request a good breakfast,where you could enjoy eating outside in a peaceful patio area or inside the hotel ,was good value for money. The cleanliness and up keeping of my room was excellent, as the cleanliness of the hotel was throughout. For a relatively small hotel, it delivered very much on warmth and charm, I would be more than happy to stay here again on my next visit to Nice. I would like to thank all the staff for their help and kindness and for providing me with a wonderful stay and holiday in Lovely Nice. Thank you, Merci.

Centralt hotel med kort afstand til både butikker, restauranter og strand. Hotellet er meget basic. Flinkt personale. Super aircondition. Synes dog at man med små tiltag kunne forbedre oplevelsen. Fx. var der Ingen mælk/pulver til kaffe, ingen lotion, conditioner eller andre små toiletsager. Alt i alt dog en ok overnatning.

This will be my go to place in Nice. My room was right in front of the patio and dining area with water fountain. Very soothing. I could step right of the hotel a few stores down for a glass of wine and people watch. Or walk around sight seeing and shopping. I was alone and felt very safe

I stayed at Hotel de la Fontaine for 3 nights and had such a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais, and also close to plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s ideal if you like exploring Nice on foot. My room was not huge but very comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were genuinely friendly, always smiling, and happy to help with recommendations or directions. They really made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere of the whole hotel is peaceful and cozy, a perfect little haven in the city. For the price and the location, I think it’s excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I visit Nice. 🌸

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra till, nära stranden och stan. Det är ett litet, enkelt hotell och vi fick bra hjälp av personalen. Luftkonditioneringen fungerade fint, likaså städningen. Frukosten tog vi bara en dag, tyckte den var ganska sparsmakad och kunde lätt förbättras. Det luktade en del avlopp när man kom in i hotellet i receptionen men inte uppe på rummet. Även om hotellet är centralt beläget var det väldigt tyst (hade rum mot innergården). Ett bra budget hotell skulle jag sammanfatta.

Very nice boutique hotel located close to La Rue Anglais and Old town. Everything was very walkable. Clean well appointed rooms- including updated bathroom with towel warmer. Staff were very friendly and available especially Kurt at the desk. Might suggest reserving an inside facing room because of street noise.

The hotel is great, perfectly located a block from the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. 15-10 minute walk to the Tram and Train station. The hotel provides beach umbrellas and padded blankets. The staff was amazing and so sweet. Room is tiny and no fridge. Overall great stay.

I was on my own in Nice and am very glad that I stayed at Hotel de la Fontaine. First of all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Here I especially want to mention Kurt and Andrea. I got some good advice on places to visit. The hotel is perfectly located close to the beach walk Promenade des Anglais (to me the best place in Nice), less than 1 km to the railway station and a 7 minute walk to the tram stop taking you from and to the airport. The Old Town and Place Massena are also only a few minutes walk away. You feel very safe in this area.

From beginning to the end the staff were very nice, polite and able to accommodate our needs. Checking in and out was super easy and fast. The location of the property was a hidden gem in a busy street of Nice (which we like to be in center) noisy street if people want tranquility but if you are okay with a lot of noise early morning and late night then this should not bother you. After a long daily walk we did not notice the noise since tired and sleeping. It is just a few minutes walk to the beach. Very safe area. 20 min walk to train station. A supermarket across the street, a lot of restaurants, cafes. Everything walking distance about 15-30 minutes walk. The rooms were small but worked for two of us. Good closet to arrange your cloths and the mini fridge was great to have. Overall I would recommend this hotel and we would go there again.

The staff at Hotel de la Fontaine are among the best I've ever encountered. Kurt, the manager, is an absolute wizard at solving all problems and providing everything a guest could want. Their location is perfect for access to the beach, restaurants, cafes, and shopping. I would gladly stay there again and highly recommend it.

Very nice boutique hotel located close to La Rue Anglais and Old town. Everything was very walkable. Clean well appointed rooms- including updated bathroom with towel warmer. Staff were very friendly and available especially Kurt at the desk. Might suggest reserving an inside facing room because of street noise.

A equipe é muito atenciosa e a localização é excelente. Quase na quadra da praia, com cafés, mercados e restaurantes próximos. O café da manhã é módico, mas feito com muito cuidado. O quarto é confortável, com destaque para a cama, mas os banheiros precisam de uma reforma urgente. A torneira do chuveiro esquenta tanto que queima a nossa mão e o box é muito pequeno. O frigobar é minúsculo e fica fechado dentro do armário que a acaba o aquecendo. Voltaria a me hospedar com essas melhorias.

I stayed at Hotel de la Fontaine for 3 nights and had such a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais, and also close to plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s ideal if you like exploring Nice on foot. My room was not huge but very comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were genuinely friendly, always smiling, and happy to help with recommendations or directions. They really made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere of the whole hotel is peaceful and cozy, a perfect little haven in the city. For the price and the location, I think it’s excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I visit Nice. 🌸

First off, our stay was great. We would definitely use this hotel again. The location of this hotel is perfect. Everything is in easy walking distance. The room was comfortable, good choice of pillows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. These are first world problems but.....aircon made the room so hot it was unbearable. Wardrobe door was skewiff and hard to move. No fridge, I don't think one was advertised to be fair. There was a safe though, which worked well. Breakfast was basic but adequate, small amount of cooked. Cereals, toast and pastries. Yogurts and dried fruit and nuts. Fruit juice, tea and coffee. There was definitely enough. I wouldn't have said my room was 3 star standard, but I certainly didn't care. It was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in a fabulous location. Right in the middle of everything! Yes the rooms are small but they are only for sleeping. The beach is a block away and there are all kinds of options for shopping and food. Their breakfast is excellent. The staff speaks perfect English. Can’t go wrong with this choice!

I would like to rate the Hotel de la Fontaine, “Very Good”, as it was positioned in an ideal location, central but being set just behind the main promonade of Nice, provided both enough quietness, and at the same time was close to plentiful choice of nice restaurants for dining and nice shops. The hotel staff were all so helpful and attentive both night staff&day staff, and made myself feel very welcome. The Hotel de la Fontaine provided great service at all times and included at request a good breakfast,where you could enjoy eating outside in a peaceful patio area or inside the hotel ,was good value for money. The cleanliness and up keeping of my room was excellent, as the cleanliness of the hotel was throughout. For a relatively small hotel, it delivered very much on warmth and charm, I would be more than happy to stay here again on my next visit to Nice.
