Personnel dynamique, très accueillant, sympathique et disponible. L'hôtel est propre, les chambres sont agréables et confortables. L'hôtel est très bien situé, parking Notre Dame à moins de 5 mn à pieds et 10 mn du vieux Nice. Nous sommes venus en famille avec notre petit chien. Notre fille a trouvé des petites attentions dans la chambre et il y avait une gamelle, un plaid et des croquettes pour notre chien. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, beaucoup de choix sucré/salé, nous avons très bien mangé et le personnel est présent pour le réapprovisionnement même pendant le rush. Très bonne expérience, nous conseillons vivement.

Basic hotel, but with nice touches - welcome chocolates and free tea/coffee/croissants in the afternoon. Staff very friendly and helpful. The area it’s in is slightly run down, but you’re very near the main high street etc. Would recommend

The location is less than I expected and the room was less than I expected as well. It does not look comfortable as you see from the main photo. The room is rather small and a bit dark. The elevator is too small. The staffs are fair but they are not super friendly.

This property should not have ever turned into a hotel. The property consists of two buildings. Most rooms are in the adjacent building. If you have heavy luggage’s, you will have to take the elevator to the next floor, there you will have to negotiate stairs to get to the next building. The rooms are too small for the price. Showers, sinks and bathrooms are substandard. The location is not great, but it is not too bad. The only positive experience I had was with the helpful staff at the front desk. But I will never stay in this hotel again.

misrepresented:no laundry on site, no breakfast buffet, no luggage cart,no help with luggage specifically a young man watched me load my heavy luggage and made no offer to help. i am 75 and capable, but i found his lack of concern unacceptable! the female staff especially Lyna were very professional. parking was horrible. room was hardly big enough to turn around. no luggage stands. one plastic stool; no chairs! also a black young woman that delivered breakfast was extremely professional. the only reason we didn’t leave was because of the female staff. there was no area to eat breakfast. pictures of the facility showed a large commercial washing machine, a dining room with many chairs,a buffet breakfast, a large bedroom,a rooftop lounge, and many more misrepresentations. never again!

Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the train station. Neighborhood did not feel safe so we always came back before dark. Staff was friendly. We were given a great recommendation to eat close by the staff “Cote burger”. Rooftop at the hotel had amazing views. We had our dinner there every night. Wifi was terrible. Overall not too shabby.

Located 8 minutes walk from gare de Nice. Great roof top terrace. Confortable bed and friendly staff. Room was clean and had all I needed just not the wifi be sure to ask they forget to tell me and I didn’t ask. Stayed for 2 nights only. Doors are extremely loud when closing and opening, it’s heavy and slams which woke me up from the neighbour. Other than that no other noise detected. A pleasant stay.

The staff and the facilities are excellent. There was some construction underway in the hotel but they handled it well. Complimentary croissants, coffee and juice was a really nice touch to compensate for the construction disruption in normal breakfast operation. The only negative and the reason for a four star rating was the lack of consistent WIFI. In spite of this, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is great—close to the beach, museums, public transport, and the train station. The AC worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was genuinely kind and helpful. They even provide beach towels, which is a nice touch (though they could use replacing). That said, the hotel needs a facelift. Our first room smelled strongly of mold; the second was better, but still not great. The carpets hadn’t been well cleaned, we saw bugs, and the sink water had a sewage smell. Bathrooms were extremely cramped. With some updates, this could be a much better stay

My room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious by French standards. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, if a little pricey (it’s an expensive city). Proximity to the railway station and trams was really useful. Only slight negatives were that area around hotel is a bit deserted at night, although I never felt unsafe, and noise in the corridors carried a lot when people went to and from their rooms during the night. I used earplugs after first night and slept very well.

Veldig lite hotell. Små rom med toalett uten vask og bad separat. Var der i tropevarme og det var ikke kjøleskap på rommet til kald drikke. Toalettpapir og såpe ble ikke etterfylt av rengjøringspersonalet. Ingen oppholdsplass inne uten spisesal 2 timer på ettermiddagen. Hadde vært deilig å kunne slappet av inne før kvelden pga. varmen ute og altfor små rom for oss som var 3 på rommet. Frokost var ok. Største pluss var veldig hyggelig personale!

Le personnel est très aimable, souriant, proactif et professionnel. Petit-déjeuner copieux et de bons produits, jus d’orange frais appréciable. Il vaut mieux le prendre tôt ou tard pour éviter le rush. Chambre renové et impeccable bien qu’assez petite. À deux minutes du tram et de l’avenue Jean Médecin. Je recommande !

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious for our need. It contained a kettle, frdge. The kitchen was clean and had a good breakfast selection. Drinks are available from the kitchen till 6pm. The only issue with the room was the overhead showhead and water would not stay in the basin. Additional pillows can be requested, if tequired. The area is quiet but within 10 minute walk of shopping area and the tram stops.

Great little hotel, rooms are basic and our room was very small. Just a double bed and a table in there with not a lot of room to move. Great size bathroom though which looked like it had recently been refurbished. Shower was ok but did lose heat quickly so some mornings were spent with a lukewarm shower. In a great little location though with only a 10 minute walk to all the shops and a further 5/10 mins to the promenade. Staff was lovely and we arrived a few hours before check in and our rooms were already ready for us. They did take the first night payment from us about a week before our stay which we wasn’t aware off, as we did pay at hotel and this wasn’t stipulated to us, so just be aware if doing it as pay on arrival.

Small and tiny room in a centrally located area. Walking distance from the station and the nearby attraction. Room can be noisy and able to hear from the rooms next to, snoring and furnitures moving... Staff is attentive and friendly.

Hotel Byakko is in a great location, with easy access to the station, tram network, shopping, beach, old town, literally everything you would want to see and do in and around Nice, it was a no brainer to book. Hotel is clean, our room large and beds compfy, breakfast is delicious and offers a great selection (I enjoyed pancakes each morning and fresh squeezed orange juice) but unfortunately our stay was ruined by the loud noises that would start at 2am each morning. It was clear someone was clearing cages and running up and down the stairs but it disturbed our sleep every night and being right next to the breakfast room there was no chance of a lie in as that was also very loud. We were left very tired and drained after spending the days exploring then not sleeping well but I can only comment on room 102, other rooms may be much quieter and better and so I would absolutely reccomend this hotel then as the location and breakfast are wonderful.

Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the train station. Neighborhood did not feel safe so we always came back before dark. Staff was friendly. We were given a great recommendation to eat close by the staff “Cote burger”. Rooftop at the hotel had amazing views. We had our dinner there every night. Wifi was terrible. Overall not too shabby.

The hotel itself is great and in a good location. Easy 20 minute walk to Old Town and the beach, and 5 minutes to the train station for day trips out of the city. Bring earplugs though. The walls are thin and we had trouble sleeping between the street noise and fellow guests coming and going in the hallway.

My room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious by French standards. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, if a little pricey (it’s an expensive city). Proximity to the railway station and trams was really useful. Only slight negatives were that area around hotel is a bit deserted at night, although I never felt unsafe, and noise in the corridors carried a lot when people went to and from their rooms during the night. I used earplugs after first night and slept very well.

The location is less than I expected and the room was less than I expected as well. It does not look comfortable as you see from the main photo. The room is rather small and a bit dark. The elevator is too small. The staffs are fair but they are not super friendly.

misrepresented:no laundry on site, no breakfast buffet, no luggage cart,no help with luggage specifically a young man watched me load my heavy luggage and made no offer to help. i am 75 and capable, but i found his lack of concern unacceptable! the female staff especially Lyna were very professional. parking was horrible. room was hardly big enough to turn around. no luggage stands. one plastic stool; no chairs! also a black young woman that delivered breakfast was extremely professional. the only reason we didn’t leave was because of the female staff. there was no area to eat breakfast. pictures of the facility showed a large commercial washing machine, a dining room with many chairs,a buffet breakfast, a large bedroom,a rooftop lounge, and many more misrepresentations. never again!

Chose this hotel for its location, in the centre within walking distance to the old town & transport facilities & it was perfect for our first visit to Nice. Staff couldnt do enough for you. We liked the hotel and the staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us. When the elevator didn't work and I couldn't walk down the stairs the last day of our stay, all hands were there to help. I stayed at the hotel a lot since I got sick during the stay and the staff was very helpful in letting my family and friends visit me. Loved the bed. My husband wishes the shower were a little bigger.

Loved our stay. Very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms that are clean and working AC which is convenient to have if you’re visiting in the summer. Also very centrally located and you can travel around easily with the tram stops and Nice Ville train station only 5 mins away.

Schönes Zimmer, nicht groß, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Man hört die Geräusche von draußen von der Straße, wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, lieber Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Ich war aber eher überrascht, dass relativ wenig auf den Straßen los war. Der Früsthücksraum ist leider zu klein, zur Stoßzeit stand man sich gegenseitig im Weg und es waren alle Tische besetzt. Frühstücksauwahl aber sehr gut.

The staff and the facilities are excellent. There was some construction underway in the hotel but they handled it well. Complimentary croissants, coffee and juice was a really nice touch to compensate for the construction disruption in normal breakfast operation. The only negative and the reason for a four star rating was the lack of consistent WIFI. In spite of this, I would highly recommend this hotel.
