Først - helt fantastisk personale, uden dem var hotellet bare en nedslidt tidslomme. Hotellet har haft sin storhed, ingen tvivl om det, men tiden er løbet fra det og alle faciliteter er nedslidte og outdated. Værelserne er prioriteret helt forkert med et kæmpe spa badekar og minimal gulvplads. Gangene er slidte og overalt er det skarpe LED pærer som dræber al hygge. Interiøret er et mix fra alle lande og der er ingen rød tråd. Fjern halvdelen og der ville stadig være for meget. Fitnesscenteret er der, men det meste af udstyret er slidt eller i stykker. Hotellet ligger fantastisk og der er så meget potentiale, som på ingen måde bliver udnyttet og det er en skam. Hvordan det hotel kan bibeholde 5 stjerner er en gåde, måske skal man bare være 65+ for at besøge hotellet

Sehr schöne Lage, schöner Ausblick auf See und Inseln! Privater grüner Abschnitt direkt am See für Sönneln und Baden! Reichhaltiger Frühstück! Personal perfekt!!!!! Freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, einfach TOP, ALLE!!! Als Nachteile etwas weiter von Promenade und Zentrum gelegen, zu Fuss zwar gut erreichbar, aber keine gut abgegrenzte Fussgängerzone, was bei lebhafter Autostrasse etwas unangenehm macht. Aber es gäbe Shuttle vom Hotel ins Zentrum und zurück! Etwas zu pompöse und ältere Einrichtung, aber wer halt was mag! Bad könnte modernisiert werden, bzw. problematisch für ältere Leute mit hohem Bad (eine flache Dusche wäre besser)

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff actually came out to our car to greet us and took our luggage directly to the room. We were welcomed very warmly. The staff all spoke perfect English, which I certainly don't expect when I travel abroad but it makes the stay much easier. We had a wonderful dinner and their restaurant that night and the second night we ate at a restaurant day recommended it was also excellent. We didn't lift a finger. The staff arranged for us to take a boat out on the lake, answered all of our questions, they really went above and beyond. We're going back next year and staying in the same hotel. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them an 11!

The property and the hotel were absolutely lovely. The staff was wonderful and the rooms comfortable and clean. The pool and the spa were also great. One drawback is that I did not like the fact that it was hard to walk from the hotel into the town. There was no sidewalk and so I felt a bit hemmed in. The hotel did a wonderful job, however, providing transportation to the Borromean Islands and there was a shuttle into the town of Stresa.

A great stay. We loved our three nights at the hotel. The only negative was that the pool was not heated so it was impossible to get into. We wojld like to have been abme to swim on our summer holiday!

Die Lage ist schön und anfänglich war alles in Ordnung. Leider roch es im Zimmer immer etwas nach Abwasser und bei der Reinigung/Aufdeckservice hat man es mit Spray überdeckt. Am letzten Abend kam dann aber die Ursache zum Vorschein. In der Dusche stieg plötzlich Abwasser aus dem Abfluss und überschwemmte das Bad. Der Portier kam schnell, putzte alles weg und meinte man kümmere sich am nächsten Morgen darum. Leider ohne Reaktion und erst auf Nachfragen gab sich das Management dort erstaunt und meinte man hätte uns gerne ein anderes Zimmer zum Duschen gegeben . Wir reden von einem Zimmer für weit über 1.000€ pro Nacht. Das Management hatte dann auch nichts Besseres zu tun als anzudeuten dass wir ja vielleicht auch Schuld haben könnten. Dieses Hotel absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel is showing its age and needs a good renovation soon. However, it didnt spoil our experience. The views from the hotel and the room make up for any drawbacks. The service was top notch and all staff was very attentive and made you feel special. We would stay again when in Stresa.

Staff members are very friendly. It was a lot of Miscommunication on descriptions about the room when I went on their website the same room we booked said it has four people and then they were telling me an Expedia it was only for three the same so the charge for an extra guest but when I arrive, they told me there was for four. I believe there is no communication between Expedia and the hotel.

Hotel piacevole con vista spettacolare sulle isole. Buona la colazione. Servizio attento. Struttura pet friendly. Per quanto riguarda il Vip Access non è stato preso in considerazione e non ci è stato dato upgrade di camera anche se disponibile. Anche il vino in camera, previsto dal Vip Access, era stato dimenticato. Per il resto è stata un’esperienza gradevole.

It doesnt get any better than this hotel. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was superb. Breakfast was fabulous. The room was magnificent. The view of lake Maggiorrre is so beautiful and peaceful. The landscaping is wonderfully designed and kept to perfection.
