Es handelt sich wirklich um ein wunderbares Hotel. Es verfügt über eine traumhafte Saunalandschaft, einem schönen Pool im Spa-Bereich (mit einer angenehmen Temperatur), tollen Gym-Geräten und einer großen Poolanlage draußen mit durchaus kälteren Temperaturen. Wir haben sehr geschätzt das tolle und sehr umfangreiche Frühstück (sogar mit Honig aus Bienenwaben), gesundem Obst und allem, was man sich für einen Hotelaufenthalt wünscht. Wenn man zu der großen Poolanlage draußen möchte, muss man (im Bademantel) einen Weg gehen auf dem Grundstück des Hotels, welcher parallel zur Straße (getrennt durch eine Hecke) gelegen ist. Das wäre verbesserungswürdig, dass man aus z. B. einem Gartenausgang zu der Poolanlage gelangt. Ansonsten trifft man auf sehr nettes Personal. Wir möchten gerne wieder dort wohnen, auch wenn unser Sohn unser Doppelzimmer als Einzelzimmer erhalten hatte und wir dann im Einzelzimmer zu zweit übernachtet haben. Aber groß genug allemal. Toll auch, dass das Fernsehprogramm auf internationale Gäste mit entsprechenden nationalen Fernsehsendern vorgesehen ist. Ein tolles Hotel für einen ersehnten Aufenthalt am Lago Maggiore. Dieses können wir jedem unbedingt empfehlen.

Beautiful, elegant hotel. Spa is amazing! Outdoor pool is great to relax by, my grandchildren loved swimming in the spa pool as well. Service and food were excellent, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The lake views from our room were gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things!

Hôtel que nous connaissons bien qui jouit d un très bel emplacement ; globalement toujours satisfait mais très regrettable voire petit de faire payer deux œufs aux plats 10e, non compris dans le forfait petit déjeuner. Également très dommage pour un établissement de cette gamme une seule prise électrique pour véhicule électrique (et encore charge lente). It had an outstanding spa and a lovely outside pool and gardens but the common parts were well worn and it reflected 1980 decor. The bar was at the side of the lounge and it gave it a waiting room feel. It would have been nice for it to be in an area with its own identity and access to a designated outdoor terrace. The access to the outdoor pool was through the front entrance with a walk around the hotel to the back which was a little strange

Amazing hotel , all the staff is well trained and friendly and you feel welcomed and at ease from the moment you arrive. l also loved the piano bar we enjoyed in the evenings as well as the amazing rooms.. very clean, very spacious and very regal. It feels like you live in an Italian castle with view over the lake … very happy with all the hotel had to offer. Dinner in the main restaurant is again faultless to a T. I’ve been to many good restaurants all over the world and this is not far from the best restaurants in London. Waiters and food are absolutely lovely and waters are perfectly trained and always with a smile on their faces. Well done to restaurAnt team who are going beyond their duties to make everyone happy. If I had to make one small criticism would be the reservation system at the pool. There were days when the staff reserved padded lounging chairs around the pool for people who never turned up so some chairs were left unused the entire day and other guests who came a bit late were given unpadded chairs on the grass away from the pool. Made no sense to me but maybe someone can review the reservation system and improve it. Thank you to all the staff for contributing to making our holiday a special memory.

This property has an amazing location and walkable to the town of stresa. The spa is absolutely amazing ..one of the best I’ve experienced. Pools are great ! One is deep with diving board . My major complaint is the room needs updating. While I understand the old world feel, the rooms are dated , furniture is old and worn and very heavy drapes also carpeting should be removed for sanitary reasons . Also a/c vent in my room (550) had black dust or mold in it .

Be careful **** multiple bites, still healing a week after trip. Spoke with other guests who informed us that it was bed bugs as they had an issue as well and saw them in bed. Check in was problematic as they didn’t seem to have the room on booking. Did not seem to be well run hotel. Very old clientele. Thought we might have gone to an assisted living facility by accident. Staff service in breakfast area was almost nonexistent. Could not get hot water for tea. Staff busy cleaning tables, but not serving clients. Could not remember to bring milk, or eggs or anything else requested. Happened each day. Requested boiled eggs before leaving to airport to eat later and upon going to eat them later found they were barely cooked and runny. Overall not what you expect. They have a view (depending on the room), they have an old hotel, but this is not 5 stars.

Property and in particular the rooms were definitely dated. Bathroom had no ventilation and I found some black mold growing on side of shower door that was not cleaned. Smelled as if plumbing wasn’t the most advanced. Junior sweet was still small. Restaurant staff was incredibly helpful, however concierge and front desk staff was just okay and not the most friendly (maybe it was just to us). For example, we went to borrow an umbrella, but were told they were out, only to have the concierge flag down someone for an umbrella to give to the couple who went up after us. Waited 5 minutes to try to be acknowledged so I could get our luggage and finally I had to let the concierge know we had a train to catch before they helped me. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel, had a lot of old school charm but rooms could definitely use an upgrade and extra cleaning procedure. Concierge could definitely be more friendly, but maybe it was because we are American and spoke English. Spa however was very modern and nice.

That’s an awesome, really luxury hotel. Everything - parking, service, restaurant, decor, room cleanliness, location - is top notch!!! The spa is awesome with a large indoor pool from which you can swim to an outdoor pool with various labyrinths, showers and jacuzzis and an outstanding “heat” room with a hamam, a sauna, a Turkish sauna and a snow room!!! When in Stresa this is a must to stay in!

The hotel is pretty dated and for the amount of money paid, I'd stay elsewhere next time. Pros: Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food although not much hot food. Dining area is very nice. Gym is better than expected and the treatments area is well done. Cons: Hotel rooms don't receive any direct sunlight leaving the rooms always feeling kind of dark. They have thermostats but the hotel had no heating so had to sleep with an extra duvet and wore my fleece all the time. My biggest issue is with the staff and service. Some staff were super friendly and lovely and others were absolutely rude. My mother wanted to pay for lunch and the maître 'd practically threw the receipt at my mother and turned his back on her to answer the phone. There were a handful of rude micro aggressions that we experienced our 4 nights there. Next time I'd pay extra to stay at Boutique Hotel Stresa or save money and stay at a 4*.

The service was fantastic but the rooms are small and tired. Our sink was blocked and the bed was quite uncomfortable. The shower head was on the long side of the shower over bath, not the end wall. It was impossible to keep water inside the shower area.

Overall very pleased. Hotel’s location & room’s lake view were fabulous! Breakfast buffet was excellent. King room was a good size for 2 people. Room price included pool & spa amenities which were clean & outstanding. Absolutely no complaints except this one - The mattress was old and uncomfortable due to a large sleepers indentation. Definitely time to replace the mattress in room 310!

Classic hotel with high class. We stayed four nights in room 201 with balcony and sea view and had a very pleasant stay. It’s only 5 min walk to Stresa centre by water line with spectacular views over the lake, island, boats and high mountains some with snow on the top. We were lucky to have 5 days with sun in the end of April, but the week before and after it rained a lot. The only distraction might be the noise from the road in front of the hotel.

This is one of our favorite hotels in the world. It is Old-World glam, and was a favorite of Ernest Hemingway's. The dining and hospitality are wonderful. We also love the sweet town of Stressa, set on Lago Maggiore. We went Baromee island hopping to beat the heat. The ferry stop was a few minutes stroll from the Hotel. Was all in all an unforgettable experience - and our second time there. We willbe back! .

Hôtel Palace magnifique début 20ème. Il a gardé son cachet avec une galerie d’art par étage. Nous y sentons son histoire riche de ces occupants illustres. Accueil et service au niveau d’un 5 étoiles. Absolutely stunning hotel and impeccable service. Bar staff and restaurant staff were spot-on. Amazing food and a lovely experience.

湖畔に面して、目的のリゾート感を満喫出来た。ホテル内装もクラシックでグランドホテルらしく満足。　ヘミングウェイ・バーもあり。朝食はテラスでのんびり。その後湖畔の散歩も最高です

Beautiful property with excellent views across the lake. Good gluten-free options for dining, lovely pool and spa areas. Friendly staff, a great option for staying in Stresa.
