The lodge was very clean and super convenient. There is no WiFi which I didn’t realize before booking, but was ok. The room was spacious and beds were comfy. Good water pressure and hot water plus heater that warmed up the room quickly (in a cold September night). Note that it doesn’t include a fridge nor microwave, kettle to boils water for a tee or instant noddles. There may have been a one cup coffee maker.

There will be no WiFi no tv no phone no refrigerator no breakfast for this hotel . Among the four key cards gave to me, only one key card worked. The environment is gorgeous, the service is bad.

The cabins were very clean, good showers and comfortable beds. So the place itself was great. I wasn't aware there was no wifi, refrigerator, microwave or TV. We were working on vacation so no wifi was an issue. No refrigerator meant we had to throw out some things from the cooler and couldn't save on meals like breakfast. So that's something to be aware of. No TV meant we read - no biggie. Just be aware of really "unhplugging" when you book.

Bad road - Do NOT came with small type vehicles. No WiFi ( and phone no signal in Yellow Stone ) - unable to do almost any kind of work that need network. Pretend to be "environment friendly" but actually "stingy" - why not even provide a solid cup but only paper cups?

The lodge was cute and cozy but the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. The food was not great, you are better off going to a different resort for all your meals. No TVs in the cabins, which gave a nice “off-the-grid” feel. But with no data service and spotty Wi-Fi, make sure to plan your trips before you get there and download the maps. The cabins could use an update, but otherwise they were cozy.

Cabin was newer and clean. Lake view and wild life was nice to see in the area. Internet access does not work even in the main lodge. Poor customer service, reception was not helpful when approached how he can help us book our going-to-the-sun road permit as the internet is not working.

My room was far away from the main property and there was trash thrown all over. I picked up bags, cans, plastic bottles, cigarette butts and plate teeth cleaners. My room had a giant stain and the carpet and a hole visible threw the roof.

For the amount of money we paid we were really disappointed. The cabins are old fashioned, although some aspects have been updated, the beds were excellent. There was rubbish on the floor behind the bin when we arrived. There was no soap in the holder, and we had an infestation of flies. For £400 per night we expected better. And when we went for breakfast in the main lodge it was like a glorified McDonalds, but four times as expensive. Again for the money paid we expected more. This is not a cheap option, for what it was the cost should have been about a third of what we paid.

I liked the frontier cabins. They were neat and clean and loved our stay there. The rustic cabins were not good, not clean and broken fixtures and door nobs. The floor mat was also very dirty. Rustic cabins should be upgraded.

The only good thing is it in the park. The restaurant was awful and ran out of things as time went on. Every time we received our food it was incorrect. The rooms were filthy. The carpet was dirty and I asked 3 times for someone to clean it. For the price it should have been much better and have more convivences (tv, internet, refrigerators and microwaves).

The room decor was very funny someone had obviously taken care to plan it. But, the room was not very clean (I won’t go into details but it looked like they stopped cleaning half way through). No toilet paper or simple amenities such as coffee creamer and sugar. They said to put “do not disturb sign” on the door by 8:00 am, but no sign was given. And, the decor was cute and the sheets seemed clean, but the buildings are old and in need of a little TLC (it was next to impossible to get the sliding door open/closed and equally hard to lock it!). The front desk staff was very nice and the lodge was also nice, and it was very convenient to have the cantina on sight. It was not a horrible visit but the uncleanliness and lack of care in some simple things ( no toilet paper!!) kind of overshadowed the good stuff. The lake was beautiful and we heard a bull elk bugling right outside our window!

Easy check in. Helpful staff. Friendly people all around the hotel (employees). Great views. Relaxing. Inside the park convenience. Only complaint is the cabin floor wasn’t swept around the bathroom and there was dirt all over the floor I kept stepping on. We saw wildlife outside our cabin every day.

The newly renovated cabin was beautiful. The full bed is too small for two adults. The room was beautiful and well appointed, except for lacking a box of Kleenex. Bed, pillows and blankets are comfortable. Room is quite even though we adjoined another cabin. Bathroom was spacious and we appreciated the complimentary toiletries. We had an accessible room although parking outside the ramp entrance is not ideal since it is not a paved parking space before entering the accessible ramp entrance. There are no screens on the windows and locks were not aligned to actually lock the windows. There are no outdoor lights on the cabin so remember to leave your lights on if you leave for dinner, and always bring your flashlight!

I spent a great week at the Lake with my dad. The cabins are easy to get to and park near the entrance. My dad enjoyed walking the area and taking photos. You can get to the canyon in 20 minutes, old faithful in 40, down to Grand Teton in an hour, and up to Mammoth Hot Springs in 45 minutes. Yellowstone is amazing and this sits right in the center. The accomodations are typical for a national park. No TV, standard tub shower. The water was always warm and sufficient. Good mattresses.

Cabin just remodeled. Had a bit of an issue with the key card due to that but quickly remedied. Small but very functional and good location to start out early to beat the Old Faithful crowds with less cost than the inn inside the park. Had dinner in the lake hotel and was very pleasantly surprised.

We loved the property and the convenient location for day trips. The cabins were clean and met our needs. What we didn’t like was the limited hours and variety of food available. We left to explore each day well before any was available. At check in the young lady was a bit snippy. However she is the only employee that was not friendly and smiling.

Wonderful place to stay. We were lucky enough to see bison every morning in the open space just off property. All the sights were within an easy driving distance and the room was clean and wonderful. The staff was helpful and kind and we will be back on our next trip for sure.

We had a great time at Lake Lodge, sitting on the rocker filled porch, drinking beer, looking over the beautiful lake and mountains. Friendly staff and fellow travelers. Our cabin was comfortable and relaxing. Will advise others to stay there.

The property was very quiet and beautiful out in nature. There were moose outside our window in the later afternoon. The rocking chairs on the lodge deck were so cozy and relaxing. Wylie's Canteen was just OK. We only went there once.

The property was cozy cabin feel, clean, staff was great, Lake front was gorgeous. The only bad thing was their food was terrible and they were out of everything, like no milk, bacon, cold BLT sandwiches with no bacon? Is this normal for Aug. 24th? Would we stay there again? Yes we would, it’s a Cabin !! 😄

Beautiful location and cozy atmosphere in the main lodge and cabins. Did not have wifi in the room so our kids ended up exploring the nature around the property, saw some wild life like fox, deers, and bears! We loved the screen-free stay but beware if that's an issue for you. We were not impressed with the food, but it's hard to expect more considering the remote location. I would bring more of my own food next time.

I did not pay close to $400 to stay in a factory-made cabin and not be able to access any internet, not even in the lobby area. The Wylie's Canteen is bit of a joke with such limited choices of food.

Very unhappy about the food service. Could not get a reservation in dining room (although I tried 90 days, 60days, and 30 days prior) until 10:00 pm. Much too late for us. The canteen had almost nothing to offer. Most menu items were no longer being offered. Expensive but crummy.

The cabin we had H18 was fantastic. 2 queen beds with plenty of space. Everything was well maintained and clean. The main lodge was beautiful and a great place to hang out in the evening. Being towards the end of the season the restaurant was low on options for dinner, but we made it work.

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful view. We really liked our cabin as well. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the no cell service and lack of TV or radio inside the cabin. My husband told me while we were on the trip so I did not bring any games (cards, magazine, etc.) for the cabin. Also, the service was not that great after I finally got signed in on my phone. Lastly, I was not impressed with the "cafeteria style" food.
