My room smelled. Clearly the bed spread on the bed had not been washed. I tried 3 ice machines on 3 floors and none of them worked. The pool was shut down. Would have been nice to know this before we reserved the room.

Room was not clean when we arrived. Food crumbs on the floor from previous guests, very dusty headboard/dresser, spiderwebs on kitchen cabinets and standing water in the armoire. Had to request new bedding for pull out sofa as it was sitting in the water and soaking wet. The kids were looking forward to the pool and hot tub but were unable to enjoy it. The hot tub was visibly yellow and smelled of straight urine. There were about 20 young kids in the hot tub at any given time - way over capacity.

Maintenance was an issue at this property. 2 pools and 2 hot tubs? Both hot tubs out of order. Room was fine but was not what was in the picture. 3 towels for a 6 person room? For 300$ a night I expect the ice machine to work. Overall it was disappointing but a bed to sleep in.

The hotel room was nice, however it was small for being a “suite”. The pool area was ok. There was a brown dirt ring around the whole pool… on the bright side the beds were comfortable and the lobby was nice!

Nice rooms, clean property, and friendly staff. There is free parking, nice pool and hot tub. The hotel is connected to the Skywalk system and we were able to walk to the Bayfront Festival Park.

Not as clean as I would expect a hotel room to be. The shower area needed a scrub and the shower drain was very backed up. I took a shower and was standing in six inches of water by the end because it was not draining properly. It was very nice and convenient for us to be able to walk to places downtown, to the canal, and driving distance from lots of things.

Room was very humid although it was pushing ac. Sheets, clothing, Kleenex and toilet paper were damp. Wifi was down for 12 hours which is super inconvenient for Canadian travellers Fridge froze everything in it. Floating things in the one working hot tub. Other hot tub was down. Chocolate covered almond left on the floor from previous guests and not cleaned.

The hotel is in a great location and is area sites are within an easy walk. Our room was clean but was run-down. Bathtub drain didn’t work well so the tub filled as you took a shower. Furniture was all very worn, some of it dirty. Doors were worn and stained, the rooms need an update overall.

Rooms were a little bit older than I thought they would be. Our air conditioner wasn’t working in our room. I mentioned it and they said they’d have someone fix it while we were out to dinner when we came back. They said it was fixed. It was not it was still unbearably hot in our room. They did move us to a new room which we appreciated, but it took a while and cut into our pool and hot tub time. ! Also, the hot tub was a small one only for that big of a hotel and was packed. Staff was really friendly restaurants and bar on property were great as well as convenient to other places.

We love this location for the convenience of getting to and from Canal Park on foot and also the fact that it has two pools which typically means they’re not too busy. This time we had a noisy heater that clicked all night long making sleep less restful and leaving us ready to head home right away the next morning due to exhaustion. The hotel could definitely use a little updating.

The parking ramp and surrounding area are kinda scary. Alot of homeless people, abandoned buildings and night life. Urinating in the streets will be seen. Room was very small for a suite. Thermostat wouldn't get cool, dirty towel still hanging on the back of bathroom door, water was yellow when showering. Bench on 8th floor was broken. Alot of noise if u stay on a pool level

Our room was right next to the pool so it felt humid and there was a decent amount of noise from the pool area - thankfully we had white noise. The WiFi didn’t work for most the night we were there. We stayed in a single room with a king bed and city view. Exceptionally clean room, very spacious, and hands down one of the most comfortable beds. Wonderful staff. There were two small details would make my stay 5 stars. First, the blackout blinds are slightly off on measurement such that from the bed, there was a crack of light that blinded me awake both mornings. Second, the shower door is also slightly off on measurement so the floor was a wet mess after using the shower.

Conveniently located especially with easy access to the skywalk. Quick Uber rides from Canal Park if needed. Very friendly staff. Hotel itself is very secure but a couple other guests parked on the first ramp had their cars broken into. The staff seemed very responsive to their needs though.

I loved this hotel especially the staff, from room cleaning staff, to the front desk to the Lyric Restaurant. My hands and arms are somewhat motion restrictive and have difficulty changing my shirts. The housekeepers went out of their way to assist me in this maneuver.

First front desk agent told me at 1pm to check back at 3pm to see if room was ready. I returned just before 3 and was told by her the room was not ready and she went home. When I asked another agent she said the room was ready. Upon check out I asked for a printed receipt and was told to go to Expedia.com to find the receipt. I told him I prefer a printed receipt and was denied. Doubtful I will ever stay there again.

Arrived, checked in. Went up to the 16th floor, keycard didn’t work. Went back down, got a new keycard, went back up. Someone else was STILL occupying the room as I enter. This immediately made me feel unsafe. Went back down, told staff, they nonchalantly just gave me a different room a floor down. Fine. Stayed for 2 days, keycard stopped working after the first, luckily was not locked out. Got a new keycard. Accessed my room to realize it did not get a daily turndown. It was a clean room in a rough area with free parking. Would have been a better review if staff hadn’t messed up so many times or even apologized for the multiple inconveniences. They didn’t and it was the same to staff members.

Downtown Duluth, enter through parking garage. Stairs are hotel key locked and elevator you have to use hotel key. Makes you feel safe especially with the homeless population downtown Duluth. They have a nice breakfast cafe attached to hotel.

My only complaint is the shower head sucked - did not allow much water to come out, just dribbled out - which made it difficult to get shampoo/conditioner out of my hair. Other than that, everything else was great. Hotel itself was pretty quiet. Lyric bar/restaurant food was good, drinks were strong.

I really liked this hotel. Very welcoming and relaxing. Staff were also very nice. Bed was soo comfortable and the hot tub was awesome. They even had a cool arcade and their own bar and bakery. The Lyric bar was delicious. I loved the mashed potatoes most of all!

Overall a good value. Room rate varied by the day; higher toward weekend. Shuttle service from/to airport a big savings. Had to book in-town rides in advance to get time wanted. Maid service by request. Not always happened. Hair dryer didn’t work but was promptly replaced while my hair was still wet. Breakfast included extensive menu but not the best. Each thing was a little different than expected: Benedict hollandaise sauce too lemony, Belgian waffle was miniature more like any waffle; eggs over medium were rubber.

Very comfortable beds with great "black out" curtains. The only real issue was typical hotel stuff like slamming doors late at night from other guests. We travel a lot and it still amazes me how people think hotels are not for sleeping when its 2-3am. Someone will be rich when they invent the soft/quiet close hotel door.
