Extremely friendly and helpful staff gave us a warm welcome. The hotel is opposite Lille-Flandres station and 5-10 minute walk from Lille-Europe so very convenient. The room was very clean, bed was comfy and we were lucky to have a view over the Place and the station. Despite the central location it was quiet inside the room. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and really fresh and tasty. No air con but they provided us with a fan. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Lille.

Friednly receptionist and very clean. Bathroom small but bed comfy and being at the back of the hotel was super quiet. Lockers for bag storage (extra cost but at 2 euros for a small one which fitted my small suitcase, worth it). Great location too.

A small comfortable room in a good location for the train station and the old town. We only stayed one night, and arrived by train. The check in was very efficient and the room was well presented. We were travelling in summer and would have preferred air conditioning, however, the electric fan provided did a good job at keeping us cool. The hotel also allowed us to leave our bags in a secure place after check out until we needed to catch our train.

Fabulous hotel only 2mins walk in from of Lille Flandres station. Brilliant roof top breakfast £12.50 each. We arrived early so the reception allowed us to check in super early which was lovely. Fans in room but great little inexpensive stay for one night. Amazing eateries everywhere.

Clean and cosy hotel - good value for price. Welcoming staff on reception who were always friendly. Perfect location for exploring the city, in walking distance of every attraction and close proximity to the station. The only downside was a smell of the drains after being out all day, the bathroom had no ventilation and it wasn't pleasant to come back to but soon disappeared after opening the windows. Mentioning it on this review should there be a problem the hotel needs to explore further but otherwise didn't impact our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a short visit to Lille

This hotel is just across the street from the train station and right at the heart of the old city/shopping/etc. It is a great spot. Everyone was really nice. The host for breakfast was very welcoming and they had gluten free options. My only complaint was that when I pulled back the bed, there were multiple hairs in the sheets. I didn't feel like making a fuss as I was tired from travel. However, that alone would prevent me from coming here again.

Pas tester le PDJ, j’ai pris un café grain à la réception, pas terrible. Le passage entre la porte de la SDB et les toilettes très étroit, une porte coulissante serait un plus. Petit radiateur électrique dans la chambre. Hôtel qui a besoin d un rafraîchissement mais la gentillesse du personnel de réception et les femmes de ménage vous font passer un bon séjour. Hôtel situé en plein centre-ville face a la gare de Lille Flandre, beaucoup de restauration autour et d animation. Belle vue sur Lille à la salle du petit déjeuner au 7eme. We stayed two nights in December in Hotel Chagnot. The location is practical as it is one minute from Lille Flandres station and right in the city centre. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel. Our room (111) was a very odd shape and did not have any storage space at all. We ended up keeping all our belongings in piles on the floor. The view was towards the street and the railway station. The windows had double glazing which provided fairly good sound insulation. There was a kettle and tea and coffee sachets were provided and replaced daily. There was no mini fridge. The bathroom had shower only, no bath. It was spacious and had a good amount of storage space for potions and lotions. Overall this hotel would be a good choice for people who travel lightly and for whom the dining and sightseeing option nearby are more important than the creature comforts of the hotel. Also, the nearness of the railway station is a big plus.

Great location not far from the centre of town. Staff really lovely and helpful. Everything immaculately clean. Rooms are small and basic but comfortable. Only reservation I would have booking again would be regards to noise. At the front of the hotel there is some noise from bars below and noise from other rooms travels easily too (not soundproofed as the listing suggests). However my friend and I spent a lovely weekend at the hotel, thankyou.

Incredibly good value. We booked 3 twin rooms for a girls weekend in Lille. The location is super - only a few minutes walk from Eurostar station and the same again to the beautiful old town. Hotel was simple, but super clean and comfortable and very good value. Staff were very friendly and accommodating of dropping our luggage early and collecting later than check-in and check out time. We tried the breakfast on one morning and that was great for just 12 euro, with a nice view. Would certainly return.

La chambre est vraiment trop petit, le lit touche quasiment le mur, il est presque impossible d'aller faire le tour du lit pour passer de l'autre côté. Je ne parle même pas de la salle de bain ou il est presque impossible de s'installer pour aller au toilette Attendue 30 mn devant la porte le soir pour rentrer !! On a eu beau sonner, personne ne venait. Pas d'explication ni d'excuse !!! Pour la reste la chambre était propre.

Fantastic value, very well located property - 10 mins walk from Eurostar and 5 mins walk into the old town. Right over the road from the metro if you want to travel further out of the centre. Friendly staff, basic rooms but clean, comfy and excellent value. Our second time here and it won't be the last.

We stayed two nights in December in Hotel Chagnot. The location is practical as it is one minute from Lille Flandres station and right in the city centre. Great location opposite Lille’s Flandres station. Walkable from Eurostar terminal and great access to town restaurants, sights and shopping. All of this also means it’s a busy spot with little respite until late at night. Enjoyed our stay a d hotel was a great base.

Staff great - room spotlessly clean and considering cost good value for money with tea making in the room and a couple of other touches. One of rooms had a impossibly tiny bathroom hence not 5 stars - would have to a contortionist to use it. Breakfast was great and worth the money.

Rooms not replenished with tea or coffee, always had to ask at reception and for new paper cups. Woken by 3 men right outside room working at 8am shouting very loudly. When I mentioned this at reception they didn’t even apologise. Breakfast for 12 euros is very poor!

3 night stay in Lille. Was great value for money. Our room was clean -With kettle / tea / coffee in room. Staff on reception were very friendly & helpful. Could ask for top ups for tea coffee & milk - was no problem. We paid extra for the breakfast which was basic but totally fine & the pastries were plentiful & very fresh -would definitely recommend those! Great view from the breakfast terrace. Hotel is opposite Liile Flandres station & very short walk from Lille Europe. Perfect location to walk around Lille.
