Lovely view right on Puget Sound. Two sunny days but then the mist and rain rolled in. Didn’t stop five of us from enjoying all the games and puzzles. We put together a 1000 piece puzzle in two days. Great location , comfortable beds. If you go, don’t miss a visit to the Giant Troll sculpture on Maury Island. Hosts super accommodating for all your needs.

The Shabby Chic Waterfront on Vashon Island was the perfect setting for reconnecting with friends. The location is incredible and the house is darling. We spent hours sitting on the Adirondack chairs in the front yard, chatting and enjoying the views.

We had a small family reunion of 7 at Shabby Chic and loved everything about this house and the quiet little harbor it sits on. It was so peaceful and comfortable. The beds and bathrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped! Also enjoyed game and movie nights in the cozy family room space with tons of blankets and pillows. We would definitely return!

We held a bachelorette party here and had the most amazing time! The house had everything we needed and things we didn’t know we needed with very thoughtful stocking options. We loved the thorough house manual for all our questions as they came up during our stay. The house is has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, with historical charm with modern amenities. Perfect for a “beach grandma meets practical magic” bachelorette party. We also loved the fire pit.

Such an adorable house in a gorgeous location. We were there during a heat wave in August, and while it was 90 elsewhere on the island it was perfectly comfortable in the shade at the house. The back side of the house has trees that offer nice shade and keep the back of the house cool. The front had shade at some area or another all day long so you just move from under the tree, to the fire pit couches, to front porch as the day went on. All overlooking the water. The house is well appointed, most everything you would need is provided. Binoculars for nature watching, (we saw seals every day and porpoise a few times,) blankets for warmth while having your morning coffee, beach towels, yoga mats, and most every kitchen item. I love that they leave condiments in the fridge and staples in the pantry. The beds were comfortable, and I love the fun decore. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay! The house has been remodeled to be so fun and beautiful! It’s very comfortable. Everyone slept great and loved their rooms. Everyone loved the kitchen and large living/dining area. We had our extended family - our kids, our parents and grandmother and everyone fit in comfortably and had a great relaxing weekend!

We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful.

Six of us ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the living area was cozy feeling, yet big enough to accommodate us. The views and property were lovely. Communication with the owner was easy and she was very responsive. We will have to make this an annual event at this great house!

5 star through and through! Our group loved this vashon gem - a perfect spot for soaking up the Seattle summer sun. It’s as pictured/advertised, super well stocked and has great amenities. The host is communicative, responsive and was accommodating to a few of our small requests.

Though our stay was just a weekend for a rowing regatta this setting made it feel longer and very restfull. The weather really shined for us this visit to Vashon, and we hope to return under sunny skies for next years regatta and stay here once again. Shabby chic getaway was perfect for our family to gather, cook, relax and game! Beds were comfortable, house was decorated fun, and kitchen was more than adequately outfitted. One downside was the septic smell outside at times, owners are aware. Some kayaks would be a good bonus!

We had a great stay! The house has been remodeled to be so fun and beautiful! It’s very comfortable. Everyone slept great and loved their rooms. Everyone loved the kitchen and large living/dining area. We had our extended family - our kids, our parents and grandmother and everyone fit in comfortably and had a great relaxing weekend!

We had a small family reunion of 7 at Shabby Chic and loved everything about this house and the quiet little harbor it sits on. It was so peaceful and comfortable. The beds and bathrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well equipped! Also enjoyed game and movie nights in the cozy family room space with tons of blankets and pillows. We would definitely return!

Lovely location right on Quartermaster Harbor. Well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and feeding a group. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of towels and beach towels.We had a wonderful time-sat in the Adirondack chairs, read books, watched the seals and just enjoyed ourselves.

We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful.

We booked this lovely cottage for our family to celebrate the life of a family member. There were plenty of beds/rooms for everyone to have a comfortable place to sleep. The gathering places were cozy and gave us time to play games, watch movies and be together. The location was perfect and the view was wonderful. We are definitely planning to return in the summer to enjoy another family get together.

Kitchen appeared larger from the pictures , outdated pots and pans , cooking / baking utensils . Waking up every morning to that view by the water was amazing !!! Beds were very comfy .
