Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff who were very helpful reorganising transport when flight was delayed . Restaurant was good. Lots of options for breakfast . Pool was great and never too busy. Location was superb - 10 minute walk to centre . Very clean . Had a wonderful week here. Thank you.

Ho trascorso a Villa Rosa due notti, ottimo Hotel anche per soggiorno invernale a due passi dal centro storico di Desenzano. Elegante il ristorante interno tanto che è frequentato anche da clienti esterni all'hotel. Colazione abbondante e completa (c'è anche l'occhio di bue!) Personale cortese e pulizia ok. Disponibile parcheggio a pagamento (10 euro al giorno) anche se all'esterno ci sono parcheggi blu. Usufruito anche della palestra, ok anche se non perfettamente pulita. Sicuramente lo consiglierei per chi vuole soggiornare a Desenzano nel confort.

A lovely, lovely hotel, perfectly positioned for everything you need on holiday (including a very cheap mini market next door for cold drinks). Very hard to fault - only thing I’d comment on is enforcing a ban on people leaving towels on loungers ALL day and not showing up. It’s a small pool area and those using it should have a chance to sit in the sun, not people who lay down a towel and go away for a day trip. Literally the only criticism. Gorgeous place otherwise.

The hotel advertise free parking, but only has about 10 spots available for the whole hotel. There is free parking across the street at the public parking lot but you need to move your car by 9 AM. The pool area does not have adequate seating.

What a fabulous hotel. Lovely staff, every area of the hotel spotless. Bed very comfy & lovely white bedding. Pool area was a sun trap with plenty of umbrellas for shade & sun loungers very comfy white thick mattress & headrest. Breakfast & lunch very good with plenty of options. Pure luxury and would recommend & return. .

Overall hotel was clean, tidy. Staff friendly and very helpful. On arrival the initial room allocated was NOT as expected and NOT five star rating. We had upgraded the room prior to our stay. However, the room was fitted out for persons with limited mobility/disability. Also there was damage to walls, bed frame and carpet was marked, on initially entering the room there was an unpleasant smell. I did complain immediately was told it was a superior double room which, I disagreed with and showed the staff photos of a superior double on their website and hotel.com. On initially booking, months before, if informed no other room available we would have sort an alternative hotel. Staff agreed to check out room availability the next morning, thankfully we changed rooms the next day. The second room allocated was smaller but cleaner, tidier and a lot more pleasant. No goodwill gesture offered for initial disappointment If arriving by train it is very difficult to get a taxi, we eventually contacted the hotel to arrange transport, which they did, sending a private taxi which cost 15 euros. On leaving the hotel we shared a taxi with another family to train station believing fare would be split, this was not the case we were charged 15 euros and my understanding was the other family’s fare was charged to their room ?? It would be a good idea if hotel had its own shuttle bus even at a charge to the guest. Location of hotel excellent Area very clean and safe.

The property is beautiful and clean and seems to be newly renovated. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly and good-natured. Our stay at Villa Rosa was really amazing and we hope to return someday.

Villa Rosa was the perfect location for a beautiful few days on Lake Garda. The staff was wonderful - always available & friendly to assist with every need. Restaurant was excellent from buffet breakfast to dinner to dessert. Bar service was fun & relaxing after a full day of exploring. Ilias was a great bar host! Beds were comfortable, room was bright & had an amazing view of the lake. Top floor - direct lake view with balcony is the best choice.

Very nice hotel in convenient location in Desenzano. Very comfortable, modern rooms. Nice bar/restaurant looking out across the lake. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, including good restaurant right in front, overlooking the water, which supports those with additional learning needs. Had a great meal there. Handy for ferries (we were out of season, ferry resumes in March). Easy to catch bus to Sirmione from the centre of Desenzano. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside is walls felt on the thin side, could hear guests/staff in the hallway pretty clearly. But this wasnt a big issue and would definitely stay here again. I cant vouch for how crazy the resort gets in summer as I visited in February.

We were traveling as a family of three including a baby, and we have to admit that we were disappointed by the size of the Junior Suite, Balcony, Lake View room - it was not 25 square foot. But we made it work, and the view was absolutely lovely. The pool area is also rather small but nice to have access to. The atmosphere at the hotel was cozy and breakfast good. The staff was very nice and helpful. All in all we had a nice stay

Hotel was good in every respect apart from our room - we were on the first floor facing the car park- but this meant we were below the level of the car park so our view was the underside of the parked cars - almost no natural light. I guess someone has the draw the short straw and get this room we did but it did feel like we were in a basement room with no view or natural light.

I booked a standard room and got a room with terrible view of huge parking place. I was not even ask if I would like to have an upgrade even with extra payment. And concerned its winter time and hotel seemed to be empty I found weird the reception didnt even proposed such an option. So better ask immediately for better room or upgrade.

The staff really made us feel special when we arrived. The room service would always give us fresh towels every day! One big negative... The walls are far from sound proof! And I don't just mean loud noises. Having the TV on the lowest volume can be heard from the next room and keep you from sleeping.

The Hotel is one I have stayed in before and really enjoy staying at, the hotel remains of a very high standard with great links to be able to use the Lake Garda Ferry Services as well as visiting the town itself. At the moment during normal working hours the hotel is impacted by adjacent construction works particularly at the rear of the property. If you are using the hotel as a base to tour the area it is unlikely to impact your stay too much, but if you plan to enjoy the hotel grounds during the day it might not be that relaxing. I was disappointed that as far an opportunity wasn’t taken to inform me of this works before my stay. I do look forward to staying again once the adjacent works are completed.

The hotel was well located and overall had a nice vibe. The breakfast was also very nice and it had a good lounge. Our stay was marred by a bad maintenance issue. We told them that the aircon was not working but they kept insisting that we did not close the doors to the balcony and hence caused the aircon not to work. We spent 2 nights in discomfort before we convinced them after several complaints to finally fix it on our last night. During the nights that we had no airconditioning, we had to open the balcony doors for cool air and hence attracting the insects and their subsequent bites

Second stay at this lovely hotel and, as previously, it was excellent, staff were so helpful and friendly. It would have been nice to know in advance of the building work that was taking place next door as it could be quite noisy in the daytime when at the pool. However this did not spoil our holiday.

The best hotel in desenzano! We stayed at Hotel Villa Rosa for our honeymoon and loved it. All the staff we interacted with were outstanding. You can tell they care about customer service. The hotel has a great pool and sun lounging area, with table service so you can relax while food and drinks are bought over. The gym facilities were new and in great condition. The room was clean and the shower was great. The bed was comfortable and the range of TV channels meant we could watch the Olympics! The food was excellent, with the breakfast options being plentiful and delicious. The lunchtime menu was also really good and the restaurant onsite was a fantastic experience. Whilst there we also used the massage service, which my wife said was brilliant and we did the e-bike tour and wine tasting which was really fun and reasonably priced! Don’t look elsewhere, just stay here!

Great holiday. Great hotel. Clean and quiet with good food and friendly staff. The town centre has a great variety of restaurants and is only 10 Minutes walk away, along the lake side. Not as touristy or busy as Sirmione.
