I had no idea my room was going to be right next to a railroad track until I experienced it during my stay. I probably won’t book the same room again next time. Sure they provided ear noise blockers but I prefer to sleep uninhibited.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. Beware of the triple-room “scam.” The room was advertised as triple, but it was not physically possible to fit three guests and three suitcases in the space provided. There was simply not enough room to move around. We booked a triple room expecting a normal family/group setup. However, it became clear immediately that the room was overcrowded. With three persons and three luggages, basic movement was impossible in the room. One guest had to move out to make space, we had to book a new room at our own cost. There was also major noise issues, our group booked three rooms on the non-train track side—but the night experience was still unbearable. There were constant train noises, bumping and up-and-down movement during the night. It felt tense and difficult for us to sleep undisturbed.

Staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Water cup in the bathroom was used/dirty. They offered me the use of a fan to keep cool for free! The breakfast will leave you wanting. I requested a late checkout which cost and they failed to tell the cleaning crew so I was woken up 1.5 hr earlier than I wanted. The smoke detector blinks white light all night as well.

A very long hotel so takes a few minutes to walk from end to end. Car Parking entrance from the opposite end of building to the reception. Thick glass windows muted the sound of the train. Electric trains are not so loud.
