The Property is shabby and in need of some love, the fixtures & fittings have seen better days. My room floor was dirty, fluff & nail clippings around the bed. Disappointing. .

We arrived on an overnight flight from Toronto, landing at 7:00 a.m., and were travelling with two children. Appreciating that early check‑in cannot be guaranteed, I contacted the hotel a week in advance to enquire about the possibility. I received a prompt response advising that while it could not be promised, a note would be placed on our reservation and the team would try to accommodate, subject to availability and an additional fee. After spending the morning with family, we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 p.m. When I politely asked about checking in, the front desk agent responded abruptly that check‑in was not until 4:00 p.m., before I had finished my sentence. When I explained our prior enquiry, she asked what the email said and replied, “See, they didn’t promise anything.” At no point did she check our reservation or verify if the room was ready. While I fully understand that early check‑in may not have been possible, the tone and dismissiveness of the interaction were disappointing, particularly after a long overnight journey with children. A courteous response or brief check of availability would have made a significant difference. I share this as constructive feedback, as we stay in hotels when visiting Denmark several times a year and value professional, respectful service. Good thing Amazing Breakfast
