The hotel is inbetween owner changes, so the sign has nothing on it. The front desk was great. Room was clean, smelled good and bed was comfortable. We had the king bed with sofa sleeper. We didnt use the pool but it looked clean. Breakfast was delicious. Each day they had different choices of waffles and hot food. Overall our stay was great. We will stay here again if we are in the area. The only bad was the hallway carpet.

Hotel was nice and clean and offered a free breakfast in the morning. We will stay at this hotel again on our next trip. The only downside is that the pool was down and we could not swim. We did happen to open up the shade one evening and saw three elk walking right outside the window.

The hotel is dated but very clean. The staff that I encountered were all very friendly. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The lighting in the parking lot was not good, they need to fix this asap. I have seen other reviews that mention the lack of lighting in the parking lot as well. Overall our stay was very nice and comfortable.

Great spacious room. Very clean and quiet. Also in the midde of the night ALL outside lights are turned off making it extremely dark in the parking lot.

Housekeeping very attentive and helpful and worked hard to keep common areas clean. Property needs refreshing. Breakfast was good but towards the end of scheduled time, ran out of many items. No lighting in parking lot so very dark at night. Ok place to stay if looking to save money and you don't mind it feeling a little worn and outdated.

There were bugs in our room and the man that worked the front desk smelled horrible. He brought a roll away bed to our room and no lie, our room smelled like a barn for hours. Absolutely nauseating. We also went downstairs to fix our kids cereal, and the milk was sour and rancid.

When this was Hampton Inn, it was kept up. Now it has deteriorated, carpets are disgusting, hair left in shower and sink areas. Needs to be updated and cleaned better. I have stayed there 10 plus times over the last 5-6 years and this is the worst it has ever been. I will not be back unless something is done!

The staff is super friendly and the property is really nice and laid back. The only issue i had is i dont believe the room had been vacuumed because there was about 20 ladybugs on the floor near the air unit and a couple of stink bugs.

Great stay but there was a strange humidity in the room, making the floor extremely slipping upon entering and I almost busted my butt twice. Even the carpet felt wet. Other than that, clean and great view.

Our room needed work... toilet ran, heater/ air was loud and didn't seem to display a correct temp. TV reset itself every hour. Staff was very friendly. We let things ride as they weren't initially noticeable and we didn't spend too much time in the room , and let them know the issues at checkout.

The room was a pleasant surprise. I expected a dated, older looking hotel and room, but the condition of everything was in great shape. The morning continental breakfast was especially nice and the little lady behind the counter was friendly and fun to talk to. I found the hotel to be an unexpected gem and will stay there again the next time we head in that direction.

A decent place for 1 night. Price was good. The walls were a little thin for noise blockage from the adjoining room. Breakfast could use an upgrade. It was sparse with 3 options for sugary cereal, a few prepackaged baked goods and the usual waffel maker. Coffee offered only powdered creamer. Got milk from next to cereal. Ho hum....

We have stayed in Cherokee many many times. This was our favorite hotel room by far. Comfortable bed, big rooms, safe and quiet area. My hubby enjoyed the hot breakfast options. We liked having the laundry facilities available.

Overall, the stay was ok. Some of the staff wasn't so friendly. The room was ok, it did have a musty/stuffiness to it. The beds are HARD, just an fyi. It was clean-ish. We did have to get towels and toilet paper from the front because it wasn't stocked. Semi-quiet, our last night it was a bit noisey, but nothing major. My family and I were disappointed in the breakfast. There was really nothing to it. Pancakes and waffles you cook yourself. Cereal and oatmeal. That was all. So we opted to find food some place else. (Shout out to Mabel's Kitchen)

Property is in the process of being updated. We have stayed here before. Problem is the new updates includes beds that are so high we had trouble getting in bed. They were above my waist. It became a topic of discussion at breakfast with other guests as to how we got into the beds. The girl that works at 8pm told us that she could not get us towel, pillows or clean pillowcases as she was not allowed in the linen closet and did not have a key. She told us to come back at 11pm. We dont stay up until 11pm. WTH

Great little place to stay when in Cherokee. The breakfast was really good and that made all the difference in the world in comparison to other places in the area. All staff were super nice and helpful. Chris at front desk is very experienced in this field and knows how to handle every issue.

First room smelled heavily of smoke even though this was a “smoke free” property. Second room had not been prepared for guests and the third room the lamp was broken and the socket and bulb were hangout. I carried it down to the front desk and she got another lamp and brought it to the room. She hooked it up and it worked. The bed was the best attribute of this property.

We booked months ago and renovations are not completed. We had to move out of first roon as renovated but no furniture a refrigerator was broken...receptionist moved asap. Second room no TV working so called desk and had tofix phone. The poor hot water later in shower and sink had no plug was disappointing...then next day pool has squirl in filter again front deck and pool area had not been swept in a while...never again. Breakfast uhhh.

We have been staying in Cherokee for fall vacations for over 30 years. This is, BY FAR, the cleanest, most contemporary, well-maintained and friendly establishment we have encountered. GREAT breakfast, spotless facility, well-lit, great furnishings in room and lobby, comfortable beds, nice artwork and accessories, quiet and simply without any flaws that I could see. New bathroom fixtures, simple room temperature controls and a massive Smart TV. Great WIFI access. RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!! Will be our Go-To from now on. Kudos to management team and remodeling designers. Well done.
