SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbus Easton Area

Very nice hotel at reasonable price. the gym was great. the pool would mostly be for kids (about 4 ft deep). the breakfast was standard fare. Rooms were nice, but a little small. Really good hotel

Beautiful hotel very close to the Easton town center. Not walkable though even though it seems like it could be on a map. Very lively Bar area with a great bartender the front desk people especially the tall younger man with Braids was extremely customer service oriented, very, very helpful and welcoming.

We had stayed there before and loved the shuttle service, so decided to stay again, but didn’t know until we got there that they didn’t offer the service on the weekends. Probably would not have stayed there if we had know that in advance.

The pool is too cold.

We enjoyed the comfortable hotel room and very nice staff. One main thing we were looking for was an onsite restaurant/bar, and that didn’t pan out. There was no restaurant, and the bar served drinks in the lobby. Nice, but not much seating and very noisy. (This may have been impacted by rain since the outdoor seating area wasn’t available.)

The hotel was nice and clean. We did have a few old stains on our comforter and sheets but the room overall seem clean. The hotel lobby was over packed with kids in pj's, including the bar area, which i thought was strange. You couldn't relax and have a drink, it was too much going on. The pool area was even worse! Kids occupied the entire pool. Jumping, running, diving and splashing water everywhere. I picked that hotel for the pool but couldn't get it in. That was really the only downside. I probably wouldn't go back due to the fact that they allow parties there and you can't really relax. Kid party hotel for sure!

Large rooms and easy access. Easton Town center is near but not easily walked to. Shuttle to/from mall does not run on the weekends.

Staff and rooms were great. The indoor pool was not heated which would have been nice since it was cold when we visited and my children wanted to swim. It was part of the reason I picked that hotel.

It could have been cleaner in the hallways and such. Beer bottle cap and dirt on the benches of the 2nd floor lobby. Overall the facility was pretty clean otherwise. Our room was nice, the pool is shallow and small but good for kids, says it’s a warm water pool and it’s pretty chilly which I didn’t particularly enjoy. Loved the breakfast bar and 24 hour gym. Didn’t get to check out the bar because it was overly crowded the entire time we weee there.

Hallways & common areas were very dirty the 3 days we were there. Our air conditioner didn't work, so we had them come in & "fix it" the first night, it cooled down for a couple of hours & then went back up to 75° again for the remainder of our stay. Other than that, the room was clean & the bed was nice. Not sure how safe we felt there. They have "mobile surveillance cameras" in a couple of areas in their parking lots. A lot of empty glass alcohol bottles littered in their parking lots & on our last night there, there were several police cars with their lights on, patrolling the street behind & circling through the parking lot of the hotel behind them. Not the worst stay, but we were definitely disappointed.

Hotel was clean and quiet. It was very busy so I had assumed it might be kind of loud but didn’t hear other guests.

Overall, the property is clean and I enjoyed free parking. The Easton shops and restaurants are right across the street. Walmart is 3 minutes away and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent. It was more than a continental breakfast. There was hot food selections as well. The room was nice; except I had ants in my room. Something bit me while I was sleeping. I don’t know what, but I was not happy. I called the front desk in the middle of the night and they immediately moved me to another room. No further incidents and I was able to check out later. Would I stay there again? Yes.

One bed was still dirty when we got there and couldn’t sleep on it. They finally got it cleaned the second day.

The property was very clean and the breakfast was quality. I’m particularly concerned with cleanliness and this hotel room passed my test.

Staff was friendly, the hotel was very clean. The room was amazing and everything was better than expected.

Free breakfast was okay. The sandwich was hard around the edges, couldn’t eat. The soaps supplied for bathing were empty and had pink mold. The shower curtain had several places that had black mold. The room size was nice and decorated well.

Lobby is really big and nice! Rooms are pretty updated! Huge closet 2 beds couch converts to bed has a dividing glass and 2 tvs. Sliding door for the bathroom is cool but a little hard to close. Reading lights on bed and lots of spots to plug stuff in.

Asked for room away from Elevator, was put in room closest to elevator and all the noise. Room was also a joining room and next door room was loud all night. Room above us also sounded like a bowling alley until midnight or later. Free breakfast was awful.

Overall, the property was nice; however, the rooms are dimly lit....the lighting in each room seems as if they are using 10w bulbs! And, the biggest concern was the pillows on the bed.....I have never stayed at any place where the pillows were as flat as those on the beds. Made for a very sleepless couple of nights!!

Very nice room. I would definitely stay here again. Clean, spacious, and a pull out trundle bed in the king suite if needed.

The room was the best I have stayed at in a long time. Was the for 3 nights tge last night someone eith a child stumped over my head until 1 in the morning and woke up stumping around 7am. Other than that ot was awesomr. I will be back.

Nice hotel. Clean and quiet room. Had some issues with A/C presets (turning off in the middle of the night) but other than that a very nice stay.

Liked cleanliness. Disliked hearing residents talking in room next door, extremely loud footsteps in room above, a knocking sound in the closet every time water was running, and the low toilets. Also disliked the only location of three elevators on one end of building. If your room is on other end you have at least 20 rooms to pass to get to yours. Extremely inconvenient for bad knees after a long day of shopping at the Easton Mall across the street. This was our first experience with Marriott as we usually stay Hilton. The location of hotel is adjacent to the transit bus depot. Will not stay again.

This was a great option! This was our first time at a SpringHill Suites, but it will not be our last! We were VERY impressed with our room - 2Q beds, large sofa that doubled as a single bed with an additional pull-out trundle. This room could truly COMFORTABLY sleep 6 (without having to ask for a roll away cot, etc.). Our room also came with a mini fridge, small walk-in closet, and desk/work station. The room was clean and ready when promised. The bathroom is spacious and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. Beds and pillows were nice, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and provided lots of amenities, including a pool, decent gym/exercise room, bar (with pool table), and a large breakfast space. Complimentary breakfast was good and included your typical foods (cheese omelet, muffins/bagels, juice, cereal, yogurt, etc.), but the staff working the breakfast were amazing! They were great at their jobs - keeping the space clean, refilling foods, clearing dishes, cleaning tables - and they were extremely pleasant and friendly. The hotel is in a decent area, very close to shops, restaurants, etc., but unfortunately not really “walkable”. Check in/out process was quick and easy. The only “con” was that the hairdryer in our room didn’t work, but the front desk delivered a new one within minutes! Overall, it was a great stay and we would certainly return!

I don’t care for the frosted sliding door to the bathroom because of the light the comes into the room when people are sleeping.

I have stayed in Marriott hotels all over the world and this one was, without question, the most uncomfortable, poorly designed room I have ever been in. NO CHAIRS to sit in except a small desk chair; a sofa that had seats so deep that it was literally impossible to sit straight on it. The mounted television was terribly and impossibly situated facing nothing. It was perpendicular to the bed and the "sofa" so that from nowhere in the room was a straight-on view possible. There was no vanity in the bathroom on which to place toiletries or cosmetics. The room was noisy until the wee hours as it overlooked the parking lot and bar area. This hotel was a waste of my money and I will never, ever stay there again.

From the moment we arrived check in my a breeze thanks Ethan, what was even better they didn’t require a large deposit like most hotels. The free breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. The rooms were so comfy and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and the location was close to shopping and restaurants

We had a very scary experience. My young daughter , her friends and myself were verbally attacked and threatened by another guest. The manager did nothing to help or comfort us. Im very very upset. We left early. I would like to speak to someone about reimbursement. I have filed complaints with the hotel management as well.

When we checked in, we were told that later in the week there would be a couple hours where the water was turned off to do something. In reality the night before the scheduled work we got a note saying that the water would be off from 8:30AM to approximately 5 PM. Nothing about options for bathroom needs, drinking water.... The water came back on between 2:30-3. I asked why the repairs were not completed at night, the woman I was speaking with acted put out. If I had known the length of time the water would be off, we would have changed hotels. I will never stay there again.

Lovely hotel. The room was well equipped and extremely comfortable. My only complaint was that I had a defective office chair at the desk. Once I made the issue known, staff was very responsive and replaced the chair. Folks at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast offerings were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed with my partner to celebrate new years and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and very nice. Nestled very close to Easton which is nice as well.

We always stay here when visiting family in Columbus. The Hampton is modern, clean, and spacious, and they provide an adequate breakfast. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars as usual is a problem with housekeeping. They only clean the rooms every other day. We were there Friday - Monday, so we expected service on Sunday. When we returned late that night, the room wasn't clean and the front desk said it wasn't scheduled for cleaning until Monday. All they could do was to bring dry towels, which took an hour. When we checked out, we appreciated Stephen at the front desk who said the room should have been cleaned Sunday and gave us some Bonvoy points for the inconvenience.

Love, Love the location, 3min from an outstanding mall in Easton Columbus, and the hotel and staff were very nice as well. I travel several times a month and would recommend this location to friends and family and for me that's big.

Convenient to Easton

Great hotel loved the room size and the pull out couch was very comfortable. Bed was sooo comfortable! It’s across the street from the mall. You could walk if you want but that would be a far walk. I wouldn’t recommend the Walmart next door though. The hotel has security which made me feel very safe but even then it’s overall a safe neighborhood.

In a very convenient spot for anything you may be doing around the Columbus area. The hotel was spotless, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the room was well appointed and comfortable. Across the street from Easton Town Center. Loads of shopping and dining options. Just off of 270, so traveling around was easy.

The hotel is spacious and very quiet. It is tucked back in an industrial area across from Easton Town Center.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The water shut off literally while I was showering and was off all day. We were told later that this was a scheduled water outage and they just neglected to notify us. We were barely able to sleep during our stay because other guests were so loud. On top of all that - the property is located literally right next to the public bus station with lots of vagrants roaming around. The good things about the property were that the room was good-sized, the staff was friendly (although unable to resolve the noise issue), and the breakfast was above average. I would never stay at this hotel in the future.

Early check in fee due to cancellation of flights and checking out of the hotel early should be re-evaluated. Property was clean and great location to the airport.

The staff (Exandria ?) was amazing ! The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and it was very good. Shower was hot and great water pressure. Loved our stay !!

The staff was fantastic! The lacking part was could not control the temp in our room and it wouldn't go below 72. Was told because of the temp outside it over rode the AC. The breakfast was meh.

Appreciate the fact of all the shopping/eating facilities in the area. Felt safe coming and going from early in the morning or late at night around the hotel. Loved the breakfast options. I had neve seen so many, which I appreciate as I don't eat meat or cheese.

The Comp breakfast was what you'd expect....a lot of food items, not bad. The only issue was most of it was room temp.

The property and room were excellent but the breakfast was lacking. Both mornings they were out of the hot items like sausage and eggs. We waited and were told just a moment. After 20 to 25 minutes, they finally brought more out.

The hotel itself was amazing! But hotels.com listed that it had a restaurant inside the hotel and it did not. It did have a bar though!

Modern, airy accommodation with friendly staff. Breakfast is included but best avoided.
