Tahquitz Pines Retreat

I spent a single night at this resort so that I could get an early start on a hike to Tahquitz Peak. I didn't have high expectations for accommodations in a small town like Idyllwild so I was pleasantly surprised by the Tahquitz Pines Retreat. The rooms were comfortable and the campus was well laid out. I especially enjoyed the restaurant and bar onsite which had really good food and a surprisingly large menu. Should I come back to the area, I would stay here again.

The property was so well maintained. The pool area clean, courts in great condition. At night the paths are lit up beautifully by pathway lights.

Really comfy beds and a relaxing environment. Everything nice and clean and plenty of parking. Close to town and hiking trails.
