Our favorite hotel of our 3 week trip in Japan. Our room was excellent, clean and quiet. We loved the « hang out » area on the second floor. It was spacious and allowed us to eat and unwind there. Lots of amenities were available at the hotel’s 2nd floor: (microwave, oven, ustensils, hot/cold water fountain, gym, washer/dryer). Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book there again or through their hotel chain. Great service! Also, the hotel had a prime location in Ginza, 1 block away from the metro station. Excellent neighbourhood for shopping/restaurants/access to transportation. Walking distance from the Tokyo train station and many attractions (tsukiji market, shopping streets, imperial palace…) Recommended +++

We absolutely loved this hotel! It’s in an excellent location with good transport connections to anywhere around Tokyo yet felt calmer than lots of the other districts we visited. Loved the convenience of the hotel and extra touches such as the robes, laundry facilities and kitchen area so we could eat in the shared dining space and don’t always have to eat out. The staff were always really helpful. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Onsite laundry is helpful and the lounge sitting area on the second floor is super convenient. Normally I don’t get hotel breakfasts however the one here was really good and convenient.

Perfect room size for 1-2 people. Very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is close to various subway lines, restaurants and 7-Elevens. Very safe area to stay. Great solo travel experience for a first time visitor. Great amenities in the lobby, very helpful.

Everything works, info desk is very friendly. Nice sizeable room. Within hotel there is not much to do. The gym is very limited. But you are in Ginza middle of Tokyo. Just going out you will have lots to do. The location is amazing.

-The headboard was dusty and dirty, with some hairs found on it as well upon our arrival. - Room was not soundproof so I can hear the housekeeping staffs talking very loudly in Mandarin every morning. - One of the housekeeping staff was very impolite. No greeting from him when we met in the corridor (even we’ve made eye contact and just kept looking at me), while there’s greeting from other staffs when we met in the hotel.

Very surprised by how clean and well maintained the room was. The staff are friendly, ginza shops are walkable distance, the train station and 7/11 convenience store is just around the corner. Yes, the room is small but the cleanliness and convenience 100% makes up for it. I will be back.

Great location and really close to metro stations. Facilities is small but does have everything you need. My only complaint is that their temperature is central controlled (you cant control at all) so they will have heat on if outside temperature is below 20 regardless. So for people who liked sleeping in cold..you will find it too hot in the room

The hotel is convenient and well maintained. The rooms are mid sized with good sized beds. Beds are on the firmer side. If you are mobility restricted you will find these rooms not appropriate. Air conditioning was a bit less than adequate but was definitely cooler than outside. The rooms are secure and only people with rooms on your floor can get to your floor. The rooms are dark and where the location is between buildings there is no view. All this being said, for the area, the price was great and the hotel was convenient, safe and clean.

I highly recommend staying in this property when visiting. You are close to Ginza and Asakusa line for easy transport around the city. The Asakusa line connects you directly to Narita which is amazing. Finally, if you are intending to take a Shinkansen, Tokyo station is close by as well. Hotel room is small but that is normal for Tokyo. But hey, you’ll be out all day anyways! Last note, its off of a busy street which makes it quiet and AC is amazing! Would 100% stay here if I return to Tokyo again.

Great location. Literally steps from the train station. Room was tiny (while to be expected in Tokyo, there wasn't enough room to open my suitcase). The hotel is aesthetically very trendy but maybe less practical than other hotels that are a bit older. Quite noisy (traffic, constant banging noises coming from the hallway all night - would recommend packing earplugs).

Air conditioning was a little warm and centralized if I’m not mistaken. Laundry was good but dryer/drying was not as effective as I’d hoped. Staff was fantastic and no serious complaints at all. The rooms were a little smaller than I expected but given the location - this should not be a surprise . Would recommend for a budget conscious traveler and still rate the hotel clean and safe.

The hotel is very centrally located near lots of restaurants and shops. The staff is fantastic. My only concern is that in the room there was absolute minimum of space and almost no furniture to keep our belongings.

Really enjoyed our stay at lyf Ginza. Rooms and amenities were exactly as described and pictured. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The amenities are also very nice for relaxing, work, socializing, etc. The hotel itself is very central to a lot of the dining and shopping Ginza has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay, The location is superb, 10 minutes walk from Tokyo Station, off the main street so super quiet. Shops and restaurants are so close.Shared areas where great and has a great laundry area. Staff at the hotel were fantastic. Checking (at 8pm after a long haul flight with 2 teenagers) was fast and the duty manager was really helpful. Staff were very helpful, had good knowledge of the city. I've traveled a bit for work and leisure and this was one to the best hotels in the word I've stayed. Would come back!

This was a cool, welcoming and convenient hotel located close to Tokyo Station. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, including arranging for luggage transfer to our next destination. We also appreciated the inclusive environment with a pride flag hung in the lobby. We would definitely stay here again.

It is not a broken vent, it is just bad design. * Breakfast was "continental". It means VERY basic. We did not expect it bad on many good reviews. We literally needed to find a place to eat right after this breakfast. Food and even water were periodically ended, and you needed to wait until it was back. Eggs, for example, were never back. One time, there was only one serving person, and he did not speak English and there was no description of the food.

It was good if you are not going to stay in the room. I did not get much outside light with the little window I got but it was ok. 10m walk to any station. The neighborhood is dead at night. Helpful staff and I like the commom area to hang out or eat.

Located in Ginza this hotel is in the perfect area if you like a quieter area to stay in. We enjoyed the shopping but also liked that it was very (as in right outside) a subway line, so we were able to get all around the city easily. The rooms were clean and the staff were kind.

What a fantastic stay. The room was well appointed with everything that one would need. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and was a great way to start the day. The staff was ALWAYS pleasant, smiling, and was able to answer any questions that I had. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends who visit Tokyo.

Wonderful quirky hotel ideally located just a few minutes from the main train station. Staff very freindly and effective. Just a couple of minor points. All Japanese hotel rooms are small but you should always be able to get out a double bed on both sides. Not the case here. And the breakfast was rather sad, not worth paying for.

Super Unterkunft für den Tokyo Aufenthalt. Sehr nah zum Bahnhof, Bus-Bahnhof und zu zwei U-Bahn-Linien. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Frühstück kann gebucht werden, ist aber sehr überschaubar und leider ohne Abwechslung - eher für den sehr kleinen, schnellen Hunger; in der Nähe findet man bessere Alternativen. Insgesamt trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Great location, quiet and felt safe walking around, close to metro etc.. the breakfast was ok, but the hot food was always a little cold, our room was also cold as was the breakfast room. Very clean room and hotel, we had the two of a kind room, which worked well for us.
