We had a great stay at Moxy! Ut was us, iur niece, and a cousin. We stayed in the room that can sleep up to 6 (one king bed, amd two bunk beds). Great room (bathrooms are a bit small but the toilet is separate from the shower and there's a unisex washroom in ghe lobby. What an active hotel! Bar, small food kiosk, gummy worms and pretzels at the front desk, a place to lock up or care for yoir skis, nightly entertainment (our singer on Saturday night was great!), and lots of spaces to take it all in. We had a small issue with our TV and Sergei came to help out. He was helpful, friendly, and professional. He listened and then fixed the problem. 5 stars just for him!! Only sad point...the hot pool jets don't really jet. But it was a lovely temperature.

Staying at Moxy was so much fun! I liked that it had a more retro/ hip and fun vibe, made it stand out amongst the other places in the area. My boyfriend and his dad also thought it was a neat hotel. I especially enjoyed the heated pools. I spent an entire day in the jacuzzi doing work on my laptop and sitting by the pool, haha. At check in we were each given a free drink token! The rooms were very interesting too, instead of the usual bed next to bed layout they set it up so there way more room to move around. Staff was very kind and helpful when we needed them. The food served at the truck/ kitchen was also very good! Overall, 10/10 stay and would stay again and recommend to friends or family!! :)

The property was nice, loved the retro vibe! We really liked the selection of drinks at the bar and the little restaurant. We didn’t like that the hot tub didn’t have jets. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience for the price.

This hotel has such a fun vibe!! Love the decor, our room was amazing and spotless, and the activities were awesome. Had a blast with trivia night, table hockey, and other games. We also enjoyed the welcome cocktail, the “food truck” breakfasts, and the pool. We would stay here again!

Great hotel. Bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids. Very clean. Amazing service. Such a fun hotel!! I had hoped for breakfast to be included but everything else made up for that. Would definitely stay again!! Just a little constructive criticism…maybe add a towel hook by the sink in the toilet room. My kids couldn’t reach the shelf above the toilet. Also include 2 bars of soap instead of just one since there are 3 sinks 😉 But seriously loved it!!

We had overall a really great stay. The first night the lobby was quite dirty with dirty dishes and spilled drinks in most of the seating areas. We found a clean-ish place to sit but for the hour we were sitting there no one came to clean things up. There was only one other couple there and there were a few people working at the bar. Things were much better the next day and night and we really enjoyed hanging out in the lobby. The property is really well done and the vibe is great. Overall a decent stay!

Where do I start with this place. As a frequent traveler to Banff and surrounding areas this is one of the worst spots to check in. The staff was terrible. Not friendly not helpful. For $670.00 a night ?!? The photos make it look decent until you step inside. The rooms don't even have a mini fridge, the hallways don't even have ice machines. They don't even offer any type of room service for 700.00 a night ?!? You got to be kidding me. To top it off myself and my kids got pink eye after staying here. The parking is horrendous they don't even have enough parking for all the guests ! Cheap and cheesy. For what you pay I’d rather go to the Fairmount. This place is not the place to stay. Only nice thing is the lobby smells nice. Beware folks. This is not the place. Trust me. NEXT!

Lobby of the hotel is super fun. Except when we got to our room we realized there was a hole in the concrete roof right above the bed which had insulation falling out of it. We brought it to the attention of staff on 3 separate occasions and nothing was done. Further, the pipe under the sink leaked. In addition, we had to seek housekeeping service which was disappointing. This is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel with Marriott Bonvoy prices, without the service or quality.

We really enjoyed it here! Lobby has sooo much going on with bar and games and outside pool and hot tub!!! This can get loud but you don't hear a thing from the rooms which are amazing. This place kept our whole family entertained!!!! Recommend for sure!!!

Great, modern environment! Staff at bar was wonderful, Amy and Eve! Lots of fun games in lobby to keep people engaged! Would come back! My only complaint was I did not like not having a dresser. I understand the design of the rooms with the hanging of the clothes, but it just seemed messy doing things that way.

The vibe at the Moxy Banff was great. Check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. Now to our favorite part of the property……. Alex!! She was the best!! She is full of information about Banff, the area, and the country. She was a ray of sunshine at the end of the day. If you visit Banff and stay at The Moxy, be sure to look for her. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Moxy in Halifax and we absolutely loved it. While planning our trip to Banff we came across the Moxy and knew right away that we had to book. The look and feel of the hotel is so modern, trendy and fun however this doesn’t take away the coziness. Staff were so friendly, our room was clean and spacious, amenities such as the pool/outdoor areas were so beautiful, especially at night. We tried a few menu items and drinks and all were a 10/10. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Moxy. You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed our time at the property however the staff at the bar could have been more friendly. The hotel offers a free drink upon arrival and unfortunately when we went down to the bar after dinner for a drink a bus full of people had just arrived and we ended up waiting almost an hour to be able to get a drink (even though we were paying and not receiving a complimentary drink).

My family really enjoyed all of the games that were around the bar and around the pool that were free. A great atmosphere to share time with your family and friends The staff were amazing very short bus ride into town, easily walkable. You can even get a bike From the front desk to use in town.

The room was nice & modern. Don’t forget to ask for the free bus pass due to long walk to downtown. Overall great experience Restaurant is very limited on food choices and not worth the cost as downtown has better selection and prices are comparable.

This is a brand new hotel ! Clean , smell good, the vibe is great ! Good for family as well , amazing hot pool ( 10am-11pm ) great opening hours ! Bring your slippers if you want to use the pool ! The bar close at 11pm , there is 24/7 food service. The lounge is spacious, comfy and cute interior! Location is in downtown of Banff, you can walk to a bus stop near by, take 2 mins to be in town ( you can walk to town if you want ) - they have printer you can use ( ask front desk ) - the tokens given at check in can be use for reg drinks ( coke, pepsi) - they have tap water / sparkling to refills your water bottles ( ask the bar for hot water ) - a little snack bar $$ ( chocolates, candy and noodles) - laundry room to use ( around $3 ) - they have towels at the pool - two ground inside and one under ground parking ( use your hotel key to enter) although if you find a spot on cougar street, you can park there. - no toothbrush in the room - bring your own, everything else they have . - king bed is amazing for two people , can fit 3 . theres also extra blankets under the bed. - view can be the street or pool , i like the pool view just so i can see if it’s busy or not !! I will definitely come back again in the future , i highly recommended !! … and the staffs is very nice !

This Hotel is my absolute new favorite. It is so quirky, with cool finds around every corner, amazing service, relaxed and fun environment- it's like a modern-day upscale 1960s/70s Motel, with a sexy and classy spin to it. It is incredibel for families, the room layouts are the coolest I've ever seen, with such fun little touches. The beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms exceptionally clean. I felt like I was in a family friendly Vegas motel but in Banff..... The food truck in the lobby has awesome food- don't be afraid to ask for single orders of breakfast items off menu (we asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage). The welcome drinks- a hit, and delicious....and an amazing surprise! Honestly, the best little Hotel in Banff.
