I would love to give this place 5 stars for what it is but simply can't based in the lack of sleep our family was able to get while staying here. For starters, there was a dampness about our room. Bedsheets and just everything felt damp which honestly just feels gross. There was strong a happening but poorly insulated rooms along with massive gaps between the door creates a difficult controlled climate in the room. The major issue however is the location of this motel. There are railroad tracks across the street with what be RR crossing nearby because all night long, without exaggeration, every 30 to 60 minutes the sound a freight train coupled with locomotive whistle woke us up constantly. 2:00, 3:00 hours of the night. It was insane. We have stayed at nearby hotels and never dealt with this issue. Cute place though but would never stay here again.

We arrived after dark. There is no staff on site. I wasn't watching my email while on the road, so didn't see an email explaining that there is an online check-in process that requires some time for pre-registration before getting a code for the door. I found a phone number listed on a sign at the motel. The phone representative was very helpful, expedited the process and sent us a text with the door code. The room was a very good value - simple but clean and nicely decorated in a retro theme. Online checkout was easy.

The automated process for everything works great. Lots of fun activities out back and the water bottle fill station in the lobby area is very useful

AC just could not cool the room during this heat wave. I wish it had at least one small table for eating. Everything else was good.
