AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

Malmaison Belfast draws praise for its central, walkable location and generally friendly, helpful staff, while repeated comments note dated or worn rooms, maintenance issues, and uncomfortably warm spaces with no air conditioning that can feel noisy depending on room position.

I was disappointed. I have stayed here many times before but not for a couple of years and it's gone downhill badly. I found the staff unhelpful mostly. Breakfast was poor - not even marmalade! There were no communal areas available to sit after I had checked out and generally the whole place felt tired

Decent sized room but overlooked by a neighbouring terrace. Bathroom was basic and tired. Staff were really lovely. Location is excellent for city centre.

The beds were so small and uncomfortable. Staff looked miserable most of the time. The breakfast was a ridiculous £20pp for basic continental (some fruit and not fresh bakery items). Our bathroom had notably not been deep cleaned for ages, the shower was gross and towels weren’t great either. Overall the worst hotel we stayed at in Belfast. Not worth the money at all. The only thing it has going for it was the location. This chain of hotels have really gone down in quality, will be avoiding them in future.

Great value for money… lovely decorated rooms, very comfortable/clean throughout. Staff at front desk, bar area and at breakfast all very friendly accommodating and nothing was too much bother. The chaps running the breakfast area were excellent, chatty and more than helpful going beyond their duty at times! Enjoy the stay, very accessible for all areas of shopping, entertainment etc everything walking distance.
