Loved it

I liked the room a lot but the two can openers were broken, knives were dull and there was rat poop in the silver wear drawer

The room was very nice and comfortable. There were no staff at the hotel. We choose this hotel and room specifically because it had a fireplace. We were surprised it was a wood burning fireplace but when we went to make a fire, there were a couple pieces of wood in the room and it said more could be purchased in the lobby. We searched for more wood and could not find any and with no one there to ask, we had no more wood. We found some cardboard and paper and were going to use the little wood we had but then the lighter didn't work either. So no fire. The hotel website and expedia also both advertise a hot tub and continental breakfast. Neither were available and there was no staff to talk to.

Room was old and not very clean. (Ex: can tabs on the bed) No spare bedding. Smelled of mold and mildew. Website said continental breakfast, but there is no breakfast. Staff was friendly except cleaning staff.. .

Dimly lit hallway plus small numbers on key entry very limiting for an exhausted 86 year old. Barbara was immediately helpful. Extremely slow sink drainage. Lovely, quiet setting.
