Disappointing overall experience due to several things that affected our stay. The first issue was a pillow case that didn't seemed to be changed. It was wrinkled and there was hairs left on it. There was also a really dirty teaspoon left in the room which I showed to the staff. Given that concern, I would have expected a more proactive response, for example replacing the cups and cutlery in the room or making sure everything was properly checked. I did not feel that the hotel took the concern seriously. Another disappointment was when I asked for help with the coffee machine, which showed a message that it needed to be refilled, the staff member who came to assist me responded in a rather unfriendly way and asked, “What is the problem?” despite the issue already being explained. I was also disappointed to discover that the gym was closed due to renovations. This information was only provided on the day of arrival, not when we booked the hotel. If we had known beforehand that the gym is not available, we would have chosen another hotel. The renovation work also caused disturbing noise throughout our entire three-day stay. I contacted the hotel the very next day after leaving because I had forgotten an item in the room and wanted to check if it had been found. I received a quick negative response, which was disappointing and made me question how lost property is handled, especially since many hotels have well-established routines for returning forgotten belongings.
