Alta Moda Hotel by Mellow Mood Hotels

Room was small, but for single person more than enough. Location of the hotel is very good and breakfast was complete. Only question is they have a capsule-style coffee maker in the room, but I stayed 4 nights and they only gave me a capsule the first night. I asked at the desk and had to pay for more capsules. Sort of cheap policy for a place where everything else was fine.

Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir unsere Koffer bis zum Check in im Hotel in einem Kofferraum lassen. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und das Personal freundlich. Das Zimmer war wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, sauber und ordentlich. Außerdem ist ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer nutzbar. Die Lage ist wirklich top, man verlässt das Hotel und befindet sich in einer belebten Einkaufsstraße. Trotz dieser Lage ist es in den Zimmern ruhig.

Great hotel in a superb location. Modern decor and comfy beds. Good breakfast. Only thing missing was a hotel bar but there are plenty nearby!

Fint nytt hotell , bra service , tjejerna som arbetade i frukostmatsalen , var otroligt gullig å hjälpsam. När vi kom dit så hade dom uppmärksammat att vi firade tre år , så när vi kom till rummet så stod det en flaska vin och choklad och en fint skriven lapp, det kallar jag service. Hotellet ligger bra till , nära till saluhall , och city. Det finns även tv med chromecast och Netflix. Det ända som jag kan ha en synpunkt på är att det luktade lite kloak på rummet ibland , inget som störde oss men det kommer sånna lukter lite här och där i Budapest. Men annars full pott till både personal , service och rum .

Liked most part but elevator was broken and had to walk up 8 flights in stifling heat

Jeg begynner med noe positivt: Sentral plassering på gågaten Vaci Utca og nær den sentrale markedshallen. Innholdsrik og god frokost og bra renhold. Bygning og inventar er i god stand. Men ellers oppfatter jeg hotellet som ganske ordinært, skjønner ikke helt hvorfor det har 4 stjerner. Ikke noen salong eller oppholdsområde utenom gjesterommene. Rommet mitt hadde betegnelsen "enkeltrom, bakgårdsutsikt", men den utsikten oppdaget jeg ikke. Vinduet hadde frosset glass og var vanskelig å åpne. Forventningene mine ble ikke innfridd.

Hotel centralissimo a Pest in una delle vie più animate della città: Vaci Utca. Personale cordiale e disponibile, reception aperta 24/7, colazione varia e abbondante (unica pecca secondo me - parlando da italiana - un po' sguarnita la la parte dolce), pulizia delle stanze più che soddisfacente e prezzo adeguato alla posizione e alle 4 stelle dell'hotel. Un pregio non indifferente è il refill giornaliero della bottiglia grande di acqua in stanza e il caffè Nespresso disponibile con macchinetta sempre in camera. Possibilità di deposito bagagli dopo il check out. Ottimo soggiorno!!!

Struttura nuovissima in zona pedonale con negozi e ristoranti. Parcheggio a pagamento vicinissimo e comodo. Stanza d’angolo, non grandissima ma piena di finestre e di luce, con bagno finestrato.

Hotel exelente, camas súper cómodas habitaciones grandes y baños grande. El personal atento. Nos resguardaron el equipaje. El desayuno rico y con opción gluten free ( pueden mejorarlo). Buenas ubicación

Great location spacious modern rooms staff were very friendly and pleasant lots of choice at buffet style breakfast The only small downside was there was no bar or lounge to meet at before going out however lots of places within a minutes walk outside so no big deal

detta är en ny, modern hotell. Städningen är inte den bästa, synd eftersom detta kan leda till att det kommer att se sliten ut efter nåt år… Det luktar avlopp eller liknande i badrummet och i korridoren, finns ingen luftkonditionering i hisssen.

Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti da una ragazza molto cordiale alla reception e la nostra stanza era già pronta prima dell’orario indicato. All’arrivo in camera tutto sembrava pulito e ordinato ma…sollevato il piumino ci siamo accorti che il lenzuolo era macchiato…e nessuno lo ha cambiato per tutta la durata del soggiorno(non lo abbiamo fatto presente all reception perché pensavamo che lo avrebbero cambiato l’indomani)..sul pavimento c’era una macchia…è rimasta lì per tutto il soggiorno…dunque nessuno ha mai lavato il pavimento in 3 giorni…colazione mediocre…piccole brioches e pain ai chocolate scongelati…un po’ più ricca la colazione salata, su caffè e caffetteria un velo pietoso (serviti da un distributore automatico…orribili)..stesso dicasi per i succhi di frutta..il vino offerto di qualità mediocre…ciliegina sulla torta check-out ore 11… alle 11.10 ci chiamano dalla reception per invitarci ad andarcene..deposito bagagli gratuito ma senza nessuna custodia: porta aperta e ciascuno prende ciò che vuole….mah…delusi

Clean room, good staff, fine breakfast.

The property was clean and well located. Breakfast had several options, was convenient, and good. We liked the location as it was close to several things we wanted to see. The street was busy during the day but quieted down nicely at night. We had three rooms and everyone enjoyed our stay.

A clean well furnished hotel in a great location. Breakfast was particularly good. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Room was modern, large and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Location perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Would highly recommend.

Hotellet har toppläge, med gångavstånd till det mesta. Fräscht nyrenoverat hotell. Frukosten var bra, sköna sängar och välstädat.

Great location and friendly staff. Unfortunately, our room was in very poor condition: the shower didn't drain well, so the bathroom smelled of mildew from the moment we walked in. It would pool at your feet while in use. Later, the toilet clogged, and we asked what could be done, but we were told maintenance wouldn't be around until the next day, so we had to use the lobby restroom for the remainder of the day. Further, the thermostat didn't work, so we spent the whole trip with our window open to try to keep cool. Just not a very nice hotel; certainly not what I'd expect of a 4-star property, as it is listed claimed.

Hotel was well situated with easy access to all attractions and eating places. I really enjoyed this hotel but the rooms were very compact, and we were staying in a deluxe room. The shower was so small, I struggled to get in & out and couldn’t stand up straight to shower. The hotel was very clean with attentive staff and served up a lovely breakfast which varied daily. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in multiple hotels during our travels across Europe and your hotel was the best we stayed at. New, clean and modern with a location that can't be beat. It had everything we needed, including a sufficient breakfast each morning of our stay. Travelling with 2 adult daughters, having connecting rooms with two bathrooms, was very convenient. Will definitely stay here again. We did have an issue with the AC which would not turn on. Lady at front desk said it was because it was controlled not to be in used in September, but that was incorrect as it was working fine in our daughter's room. There was no one onsite to help us so it was one warm night as the AC seemed to fix itself by the next evening.

Hotellets läge är perfekt. Centralt men ändå lugnt område. Närhet till kollektivtrafik ( även flygbuss ), restauranger, matbutiker och sevärdheter. Frukostbuffén var inget vidare enligt oss. Men vi konstaterade också att det är för att vi är väldigt bortskämda på svenska hotell med fantastiska frukostar. Hotellet är oerhört lyhört!! Du hör allt som händer i korridoren utanför ditt rum och när någon stänger dörren till sitt rum låter det ordentligt. Vilket var väldigt störande både på natten och morgonen. Ganska hårda sängar. Personalen är trevlig men utmärker sig inte på något särskilt serviceinriktat sätt. Det är ett helt ok hotell sett till priset men främsta och kanske enda anledningen till att bo här skulle jag säga är läget.

Das Alta Moda Fashion Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral in Budapest. Der bekannte Markt ist fußläufig erreichbar und ansonsten kann man hervorragend mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren. Das Hotel ist sehr modern und schön eingerichtet. Trotz des jungen Alters ist das Mobiliar jedoch schon mit starken Gebrauchsspuren. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, aber ausreichend für ein Hotelzimmer. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Fenster zum vermeintlichen Innenhof. Sicher können wir allerdings nicht sein, da das Fenster foliert war und somit auch nur sehr wenig Tageslicht reinkam. Zudem konnte man das Fenster nur leicht kippen, weswegen kaum frische Luft in das Zimmer strömte. Die Hygiene auf dem Zimmer ist verbesserungswürdig. Leider haben wir überall noch Haare gefunden. Ein wesentliches Problem ist die Türe. So sind diese total schlecht isoliert und man denkt immer, man hat Besucher im eigenen Zimmer, sobald jemand auf dem Flur ist. Insbesondere wenn die Nachbarn die Türe knallen, sitzt man senkrecht im Bett. Das Frühstück ist ganz okay und es für jeden etwas dabei. Die Frühstückszeiten von 7 - 10 sind für mein Gefühl Recht kurz, insbesondere aufgrund der fehlenden Kapazitäten. So gibt es oftmals mehr Gäste, als es freiw Plätze gibt. So entstehen Warteschlangen und manche müssen auf dem eigenen Zimmer essen. Für einen kurzen Urlaubstrip würde ich dieses Hotel jedoch dennoch empfehlen.

We checked in and were given rooms 209 & 309. There was a pungent smell in the rooms which made me feel sick for the 3 days and there was no natural light as the tiny window looked out to a flu system which we felt caused the smell. We mentioned it to the staff and nothing was done , they just pointed to an air freshener in the room. We were very disappointed as the reviews were excellent and this wasn’t pointed out. On leaving we looked at a room across from us which looked 100% better. We felt as though we’ve been short changed, not a great experience.

Modernt och centralt hotell. Det som drog ner uppleselsen för oss var att det var otroligt lyhört. Allt som sker i våningen hörs som att det sker inne i ens rum. Gästerna slänger igen dörrarna och ljudet är plågsamt. Det är inte bara hotellets fel utan gästerna visade generellt ingen känslan eller förnuft för att minska störning för andra. Rummet var bra och bekvämt men duschen var liten. Personalen var trevlig och frukosten var mycket bra.

The location is great, but room and bathroom are way too small. It was almost like camping on an RV.

El cuarto era muy lindo y muy amplio a excepción de la regadera, demasiado pequeña incluso para una persona muy delgada. Al parecer no se barre el cuarto ni se sacude la cama cuando hacen la limpieza. Todos los días nos despertó el ruido de la aspiradora en el cuarto de a lado. La persona que nos hizo el ckin por la noche era poco amable, al igual que un chico en el desayunador quien nos quitaba los platos de la mesa sin preguntar y de manera ruda... Sin embargo parece que hay más personal que si es amable.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was perfect, mix of continental and some cooked food. Plenty on offer which was different each day. Hotel was clean, room was a good size with good amenities. I would stay here again and very happy to recommend it to others.

Had a wonderful stay. Front desk staff were great. Young lady named Lori was so very helpful this morning. Ladies at the breakfast area were so very kind also!

We visit Budapest every Thanksgiving. Have stayed at Alta Moda the past two years and will return. Friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast, convenient.

The location is very good and central. The room was standart but clean. However only negative was the stuff at the reception, was not helpful enough.

We loved the Alta Moda hotel. Its location on the walking Street was extremely convenient. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. The breakfast was surprisingly plentiful and varied. The rooms and decoration of the hotel were modern clean and efficient. The hotel had a funky upbeat vibe to it that we loved.

Really bad staff. Every time we went by the reception no one said hi. And when we checked out they said we’re taken two bottles of water from their ”kiosk”. It’s not about the small amount of money, but the problem was the guy who said that we owed money was not nice at all. Really, really, bad hotel. The only good thing with the hotel was the location and the breakfast. Avoid at all costs this scamming hotel.

The Alta Moda is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops, and it's also close to public transportation stops. The staffbis friendly and the rooms are clean. The shower was quite small, but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning unit was appreciated. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location on Vaci Utca. Close to major transit lines. Nice room. The bed took up most of the floor space, but it was manageable.

Très belle surprise, localisation vraiment sympa. L'équipe est très gentille et avenante, super. Seul remarque négative, le petit-déjeuner: rien de frais et c'est vraiment dommage car le buffet est complet, mais les viénoiseries étant toutes moles, le pain sec... Mais sinon, très bien

Very quirky hotel. Staff lovely. Only problem was having to wait for a table for breakfast, cups not available for coffee . Need to get take times for breakfast so not everyone arriving together. Very good value for money. Would definately stay here again

Met Excellent Check-in and out staffs. Excellent staffs in breakfast area. Poor options in breakfast meat, no chicken no vegan or vegetarian food. I found small bits of meat in the vegetable Salad. A resident complained to me of no Halal food at all in the breakfast. Fruit juices are all squash. My room was spacious and tidied daily very well with excellent shower but not sound proof. One hears other residents talking in other rooms and toilet flushes wake you up at night and disturb your day time. Embarrassed when a non professional receptionist expressed to me after one week how could I stay another weeks there, instead of welcoming passengers to stay longer. I stayed two weeks in Hotel President last year but had better experiences though a bit expensive. Recommendation: improve your breakfast choices and options. Put Professional receptionist

Utmärkt bra hotell, bästa läge. Några kommentarer dock om rummet vars friskluftsventilation kunde varit något bättre samt att rummen har kaffemaskin, men hela hotellet saknar te, det är inte möjligt överhuvudtaget att få te efter frukost på detta hotell (!)
