Would be a great idea to have laundry facilities - for all the tournaments held in Coffs. Pool area wasn’t that clean, when asked for room to be serviced came back and only bins changed and towels left but no bed made. Reception was not that welcoming at times.

Property is adjacent to the highway running through Coffs. HGVs run past the property and our room was at the end of the "block", just 20 metres from the road. It was noisy. Other rooms further away may not have had this problem. Ear plugs were supplied (thus recognising that there is a noise problem) but the other observation of the area is that there are a lot of motels on the same street. Most seemed to be a little further back than the end room we had at the Matador. The room size was good. The air con worked beautifully after a hot day in the car and the pool was nice and refreshing for a cool down.

We were made very welcome on arrival, booking in was quick and efficient, our room was clean. Also we were given very convenient parking near our room and continued to be looked after during our 2 day stay. The only downside was traffic noise at night but it settled down after a few hours, and we were able to get some sleep.

Highway traffic and early morning construction noise were off-putting. Also, the property listed laundry as something offered at the motel. It turned out to just be a limited laundry service offered from 10-5 daily, not an onsite washer and dryer. The receptionist was nice enough to direct me to a local laundromat, but would have preferred to have had it onsite.

Property is located on busy street just off main highway which made it stressful as we arrived during peak times. Reception and parking area is very tight with height limitations. Accessing rooms from parking area carrying baggage is challenging due to steep ramps and stairs, anyone with mobility issues would find it almost impossible. Constant highway traffic noise in room.

The hosts were very nice, i need a low floor room due to a very cranky knee, i had booked a 2nd floor room, i called to ask if possible could i have a bottom floor, even bottom floor had parking under building, however she let me park basically where people park to book in, due to roof renovations we were unable to park closer to room.I wouldnt stay again due to parking, plus i was charged $25.00 more for requesting bottom floor. Bed and pillows were very comfy though.

Pleased to find full facilities…ie cutlery, plates, microwave, plenty of toiletries etc, all of which seem to be disappearing out of similar motels. Particularly liked the very clean bathroom and excellent shower.

The property is located right next to a busy highway and is extremely noisy. Unfortunately, there is virtually no sound insulation, and our ground floor room made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep due to constant traffic noise and sounds from the floor above. Additionally, the bathroom and shower floor were quite dirty, which added to our disappointment. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay.

Stayed overnight on our way down to Sydney. Although the Reception was unattended due to illness, we were phoned to advise of same and instructions to collect our key was texted through. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. We would stay here again as we consider it good value for your money.

Overall great stay. Lovely bed and comfortable room. Great to have microwave, coffee machine and other crockery cutlery & available. Room can be bright (no curtains in kitchen area) and fan in bathroom was a bit noisy but otherwise everything worked well. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

The property is not "in town" as advertised, but a good 15 minute walk through the dodgy part of town and felt unsafe. And say goodbye to any sleep you may want. This place is right on the busiest intersection of main road in all of Coffs. All night trucks stopped and started at the lights right outside. Terribly noisy all night. The old rooms had single glazed windows so zero sound proofing. Bathroom has cracked vanity bench and a smelly shower. I feel ripped off for the amount of money they charged for such a terrible hotel.

Generally a good clean motel with good facilities and comfortable bed with quality linens. A stop over whilst driving from Gold Coast to Sydney. Unfortunately the motel is directly by the side of the main A road and with no double glazing it is extremely noisy which is a shame and something the owners can’t really do air about

Very outdated. Balcony furniture broken. No fly screens. Toilet system noisy seems to run all the time. You can hear all other rooms around you. But on a good note it was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Upon arriving was greeted by Crystal on reception who was absolutely delightful. She couldn’t have been more helpful she showed us our room and explained how everything worked even offered assistance with our luggage if we needed as my husband has trouble walking. Would definitely stay there again.
