Down side £8 per night for parking is expensive for Hilton members, seemed to be a lot of people just driving in and out as barrier was up most of our stay. They charged me for 1 night not 2 as I complained. Also very bad traffic all around the hotel for next 8 weeks.

A very acceptable stay that might have scored higher but for the irritating charge for parking. Whilst close to the M25/A3 the hotel sits on its own grounds with a large car park, so what’s the charge about?? Nice helpful staff, restaurant and breakfast fine, just the parking irritant.

Very convenient location just off M25, lovely part of Surrey. Easy parking, costs £8/day. Breakfast was really good. Walls are thin/not sound-proofed, slept badly as a couple were having an argument during the night. Would stay again but take earplugs incase.

The room was amazing, brilliant views over the gardens and we saw deer, squirrels, a fox and rabbits all with half an hour. (Room 501) The room was very spacious for our family and very clean. Our boys loved the balcony and yoga ball! I loved the extra room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially in the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The staff were very friendly, service was good and we enjoyed a few short walks in the surrounding woodland. However my wife and I found a number of small stains around our room. The first night we stayed, my wife couldn’t sleep well at all, the sheets gave us both a rash. Hers was very severe, we both had lumps and itchiness after having spent just one night, so unfortunately we had to sleep on top of the quilt our second night, in an attempt to relieve some of the irritation and discomfort. Overall a nice location, but one of the main priorities of people booking a hotel is the quality of sleep they will get, which is where this hotel let us down.

Room was in an annex, smelled damp and musty, heat came on without turning it on and could not cool the room again. One mornings’ room service breakfast was 15 mins early and the next was an hour late. The bed was worn down and uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin, I heard everything from the hallway and the lodger above me.

Stayed at this hotel many times, and in the same room before. New reception manager very friendly and helpful. What was not so friendly was what had been left in the toilet bowl and appeared to have been festering for a few hours. I am no prude but was quite shocked as the room was otherwise very well cleaned. A long flush cleared the problem but soured what would otherwise have been an excellent stay.

Staff were kind and helpful but not very resourceful. The Aircon broke in day 1, and was still broken when we left five days later. Lots of clanging doors and noisy staff in the early morning, but nothing changed when we complained. Long on empathy, but sadly short on solutions.

The hotel is ok. It’s dated. The room is quite noisy, you can hear people walking around upstairs and snoring nextdoor. The service in the restaurant was quite poor, struggled to get attention to order food and drinks, then added 12.5% service charge at the end. Had similar issues at the bar where struggled to get anyone to serve me for some time. The woman working at breakfast was excellent. The £16 car park charge was frankly ridiculous and a con, this should be waived for hotel guests.

You need to be out at 11am this was 10.40 in abrupt tone.. There are roadworks being done on the road that the hotel is located, so I was not able to easily access the hotel. After a long drive here, I could not find the access road, so phoned the front dress. When I explained the situation to Francesca, she initially gave the advise to 'just find another way'. I had to ask her why alternative directions were not available on their website. Then explained I had two children with me & am unfamiliar with the area before she did eventually look up how I could access the hotel. Not a very good first impression, but one which could have been avoided if the hotel would have given information about the road closure on their website.

We arrived after a difficult journey from Norfolk for our two night stay, we/thur 22/23 of May, and had booked and paid well in advance in December’23. On arrival at the Hilton Cobham, we walked into a chaotic foyer. When our turn came to book in, we were asked to follow the man on reception, and to our confusion, we were ushered into the bar, and were left there for a while. On the receptionist return we were told that our room had been given to someone else. He then told us we could stay in an “annex”, but if we wanted breakfast at the hotel, we would have to get a taxi each morning…..after we’d picked ourselves up off the floor, we told him that was a non starter. So, off he went again, then can back and told us that we’d have to go, as there was no other rooms left, he then gave us a post-it note with a scribbled address on it of another hotel. We were absolutely fuming, but by now, tiredness and hunger had got the better of us. We were then duly ushered out of the building like a bad smell. Apparently, we were one of five guests who had lost their rooms that day. Never had to deal with such incompetent, evasive hotel staff. We were treated shamefully.

This hotel was booked for us to stay in overnight ready to go to Hampton Court Palace the next day. The room was ok, i didnt like the Taylors coffee but that could just be my personal taste, room and ensuite was clean. I couldn't easily get to the side of the bed because a table and chair were in the way. I moved this out the way but ir wasn’t easy because the chair was heavy and quite large. Staff were friendly although I'm still waiting to hear back about what I paid and a refund because the food options for dinner was not what I expected. It was on par with a cafe where you'd go for a fry up or pie but very expensive! We paid for half board with the intentions of having a nice meal and drinks without needing to leave the hotel. Unfortunately, the standard of the restaurant area and menu options meant we went elsewhere. If we'd known the restaurant was like this, we wouldn't have paid for half board, only breakfast. There was plenty of food options for breakfast. There were pastries, fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, cereal with olenty of condiments. I probably wouldnt book this hotel again and try somewhere else bit if you know what to expect for dinner, I think you’ll be ok. It just wasn't what we wanted. Hopefully Tom's manager from reception will get back to me soon about a refund for the dinner that was added to the booking.

It has been 10 years since we stayed here before. We found the hotel welcoming with plenty of parking available. The hotel is well kept and in lovely surroundings. We stayed in a ground-floor patio room. It was supposed to be a "wellness room" but there were no additions to the room as advertised. Having said that, the room itself was lovely with a large bed and a large TV. The only downside was the low water pressure so it was a dissappointing shower. The best part was breakfast, which is worth every penny. There was a large selection of hot and cold food, and it was delicious. We will stay here again, but won't leave it another 10 years this time!

Breakfast was poor, much had been out clearly from start of the period (07:00), so when guests can down at 09:30 as we did, what was there was dried out and baked under the lamps.
