Doing construction/ updating. Dust on luggage carriers. Room huge but not enough furniture for the space. Poorly designed. Room dated. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast pretty good. Kids running around unsupervised so could not use waffle maker.

The staff were all very nice, courteous and helpful. The room was a nice size and I like the kitchenette and adjustable table/desk. Main complaints: 1. The bed mattress is in poor condition with a bit depression on the side that apparently most people sleep on (side towards the bathroom). 2. The gym had a bad and dank smell. One reason is because there is no air circulation and the windows don't open. 3. As mentioned in #2: the windows in the room, like the one in the gym, don't open at all. This makes the rooms kind of stuffy if you don't want to run the fan. The fan itself is rather noisy, so I turned everything off at night and without the ability to open the window a crack, the air is still and kind of stale. Otherwise, a pleasant place to stay.

The property is conveniently located close to things we wanted to see or do. There is construction ongoing as the propoerty undergoeos a remodel. It made for noisy conditions during the day. That was the only issue.

I stayed here for a shopping trip to Ikea. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was very welcoming. He left me know renovations were starting the next week on the first floor where I was staying. The room was spacious and well equiped, but I understood the reason for renovations. Breakfast was good and they had 24 hour coffee. It snowed while I was there and I needed to clean my car off. I asked Olivia at the front desk if I could borrow a broom. They didn't have one for me to use but she got the snow scraper/brush from her own car for me to use! From the front desk to the rest of the hotel staff, this was the friendliest place I ever stayed!

I also found sleeping troublesome not because of any noise, it was very quiet, but due to the large glowing blue light from the A/C panel. That lit up the room and was very annoying. The room was a great size for the 5 of us with lots of storage which I appreciated. I will say the pool was a nice size and the hotel itself was clean. Breakfast was nothing special and since we arrived at 9:30 most times were gone with very little being put out again.

The staff were all very friendly and responsive. However, when we entered our room, we could automatically see that the floors were not clean. There were crumbs everywhere. In general, the place needs a deep cleaning, and some things are in need of repair. For instance, the shower curtain was not attached properly. There were also some wires hanging below the heating and cooling Element in the bedroom. The fitness room is well appointed, including a peloton bike, but there was a strange odor in there that reminded me of cat pee. The provided breakfast was extensive and the staff keeping that area stocked and clean were doing a great job. Overall a deep cleaning, a fresh coat of paint, and better cleaning in between guests would make this hotel stay perfect.

Staff were very friendly at check-in and check-out. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice other than not having enough towels. Breakfast was good. There is quite a bit of lounge-style seating and some tables and chairs, which made finding a spot to sit to eat a bit tricky so adding a few more tables would be good, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a very nice stay.

We were very pleased with our stay. I was leery about have a room right across from the elevator, but it was quiet and there was no need to be concerned. The hotel was packed the two nights we were there, but you would never have been able to tell. The swimming pool is a nice size and the continental breakfast was well stocked and delicious.

Trash was piled up around a trash can at the entrance to the hotel when we arrived, which was around 2:00 PM. The trash was still there the next day around 11:00 AM. Also, there was a busted glass just beside the entrance door. Inside was clean.

I got bit by bed bugs. I saw one on my bed in the morning. I had to ask for trash bags to double wrap my suitcase and went to my gym took a shower and got ready for the convention I was in town for. My mom drove two hours to take the suitcase to a laundromat to kill anything that would have got on my clothes. When I told the employee about why I needed the bags she just handed it to me and never once offered compensation. I was 1/2 day late to my convention that was part of my school grade. Just a bad experience all the way around.

The room and hotel were excellent. It seemed like the hotel itself was new or there was a recent upgrade done. However, the shower in our room was not in the best shape. The curtain was tattered and the tub had been separated from the wall and required caulking.

For the last several years while visiting the Westerville area I stayed at another property but was unable to get the best deal there. This being my first time with Homewood Suites I was extremely impressed! The rooms were fabulous, clean & neat, full kitchens, free full breakfasts, and beautiful accomodations. This will be my go to hotel from now on.

We stayed in a two room suite for a weekend. It was spacious and there is a full size fridge/freezer in the kitchenette with a microwave, cook top, dishwasher, and kitchen supplies (plates, glasses, cookware, utensils, etc.). Our room was adequately clean, some signs of aging which is expected for an older hotel. Polite staff. Good location and close to restaurants, entertainment, etc. They put a hold of $100 for incidentals but this was taken off at checkout. No complaints.

Our first room was not acceptable, multiple things not working. The front staff apologized, not knowing the condition in the room. Without hesitation she assigned us a new room. Everything was in working order in this room, everything we needed was supplied, etc. Only one complaint regarding the smaller suites. The only part of the suite that gets a/c is the bedroom. The rest of the areas were too hot to stay in. We have stayed here a few times, but have had the larger of the suites and don’t remember it being such a problem with the a/c. In the future we will be sure to get the larger suite. I hate I can’t remember her name, but there is one lady at the desk that has been there each visit and is a welcoming face.

We were able to check in early by an hour without trouble. The kids enjoyed the pool. The pack and play "crib" was missing the mattress, so we were given a comforter. If our baby had been any younger there's no way we could have made that work; apparently this was the only one they had. Our pull-out sofa bed was broken and difficult to use. Had to change rooms after two nights when the door handle for our room came off in our hand and nearly left us locked in! Moving everything to another room was a big hassle. Huge storm came through our last night and left us without power (not hotel's fault, but one more thing) Since we were in two different rooms can tell you lots of kitchen gadgets are missing from rooms based on what we had in one but not the other. Made cooking basic meals a bit difficult. Continental breakfast was pretty great though.

We had 2 rooms, king bed suites were super nice for the roomy layout. Gentleman very nice and friendly at checkin. Room was clean. Only negative was hard beds and not comfortable pillows. TV had a lot of channels but lines in reception. Some folks might like firm in both mattress and pillows so for some they would be fine.

When we arrived at the hotel I was told by the desk clerk Derrick informed me that “your reservation has been cancelled you need to contact the 3 rd party that you booked with” we had no idea why it was cancelled as I had confirmation number etc. and had been contacted by Hotels.com that very day about our upcoming stay. Now I do understand that this was an issue with Hotel.com but what surprised me was the lack of help from Derrick. He did not say that there were rooms available for us to now book. So we went out to our car spoke with Hotels.com and got a refund for the cancellation that they made. Then we looked and found tat there were rooms available and booked it. We went back into the hotel, went up to the desk and Derrick just took my credit card and gave us our room cards with no conversation not even asking our name. He also did not ask for my drivers license. And on a different note when we got to our room there were no bedside lamps on either nightstand. I went back to look at the room pictures for the room I booked and other pictures of rooms and they all had bedside table lamps. So what is that about? I have booked with Hotels.com for years and this was my worst experience. The fact that my reservation was cancelled after I had changed our reservation and gotten a confirmation number and continual emails about my upcoming reservation mystifies me.

Hotel was very clean.... couple of compaints. The hotel needs an extra waffle maker. Too many people to hs e only one. Also the shower was cold. No hot water. Our room was renovated do it wad very cleah. Bed was too hard. However i would stay here again. The hotel is vlose to everything.

Suite was clean. Tv in kitchen and bedroom. Only one remote for both. Had to keep going back and forth to change channels. Bizarre! Breakfast was awful and barely edible. Have had hot breakfasts at other hotels and they have been very good. All in all not worth the $165 a night I was charged. Disappointing especially as it was a Hilton. Will stay elsewhere next time.
