After booking and calling in advance to inquire about the pool/spa area, I was informed they would be running during the holiday (Valentine’s) weekend. Upon Check-In, the boilers were down so no hot tub, and pool was too cold. This wouldn’t normally be an issue, except this was exclusively why we chose this location. However, the breakfast was amazing. Constantly refreshed and they were more than helpful when needed. I will definitely consider this location in the future, as the staff was fantastic.

We had to change rooms 2 times. The first time due to an overwhelming chemical smell the room. The second time due to a wet puddle of pet urine on the carpet. The lady at the front desk was helpful. Would not recommend this hotel.

This was the cleanest hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that I wish was different was that there was an air freshener smell in the room and I am very sensitive to scents- I wish it didn’t have that. But other than that it was a great place to stay! Close to grocery store and restaurants- and super easy to get to- it’s right off of the exit on the freeway. Fresh cookies and coffee when you check in too! We didn’t get a chance to use the pool- or eat breakfast- so I can’t review those but the pool area looked really clean and the pool was decent sized!

The room wasn’t vacuumed and the bathroom vent was covered with webbing and some kind of debris. The front desk staff was super kind and funny. Just wish the room had a bit more cleaning detail instead of the beautiful towel designs the cleaning staff put together.

Love this hotel it was newly renovated or new. Beds are comfortable. Only complaints hot tub was not working, dog hair behind door on wall carpet strip in a no pet room. I’m extremely allergic.

Great place to stay, receptionist was very friendly, helpful on pointing out places to dine. Room was spacious and clean, so were the bed sheets. Bathroom was clean, needs more lighting though, and the towers were clean as well. The only thing are pillows, why are there 10 pillows yet not one of them is comfortable. I miss the old days when you had two pillows and they were either right or wrong, I woke up a couple of times just trying to find the right pillow, nope. Other than that, I would stay at this hotel again, by the way, breakfast was not that bad at all either!!

Room and especially bathroom were quite small and dark, but everything was very clean, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, and staff was extremely helpful. Nice breakfast choices. All in all, met our needs and our expectations, plus the price was right.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good. The room was a little tight but nice and clean. The towel rack in the bathroom came off but it was nothing that maintenance couldn’t fix in 2 minutes with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. They had usb chargers and electrical plugs easily accessible which is important if you need a CPAP. If I need a place to stay in Kelso again they would definitely be at the top of my list.

My only complaint is every evening we came in took the elevator to our room, the key had been deactivated. We had to come back to the front desk to have our keys reactivated. EVERY NIGHT. This was quite difficult for 2 elderly people.

I got sick on my stay and had to be taken away in an ambulance. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible. They took care of me, walked (and fed!) my dog that I had to leave in the room and went above and beyond. Didn't get to experience the pool but the rest of the hotel was great.

Our stay at Sleep Inn was very pleasant. The staff went out of their way to help us and to make sure everything was just right. It was convenient to our visit to Mt. St. Helens area. We will recommend Sleep Inn to others.

This was the cleanest hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great hotel. Staff made it feel like more of a family business than a chain. Clean, modern, tidy, practical rooms with comfy beds and great linens. I also like the interior doors onto a corridor rather than those that point out onto a carpark. Definitely feels safer. Location is great for the freeway but also a little odd in a mall carpark. Two down sides. One was the poorly fitting windows led to noise from the freeway. I would recommend asking for a room that points in the other direction as it’s quite significant. The other is the paper plates at breakfast and plastic wrapped disposable cups in the room. Not environmentally friendly. Other hotels have claimed ‘but they are compostable’ and my answer is not when mixed with plastic wrapping and mingled with plastic cutlery. I’m sure no one is going through separating it all out. Despite this it was a great hotel and I would gladly return.

My room was exceptionally clean, close to I-5 but not loud. Although i could hear some other guests slam their door and some heavy footed people above me, it wasnt enough noise to wake me. Close to the mall, Rite Aid, Safeway and JC Penny, and plenty of food options.

Positives: Clean room, comfortable bed (i slept very well). Needs improvement: Breakfast - first off....1) A team of AT LEAST 2 for breakfast detail on the weekends. With the smell of bacon wafting through the entire hotel since 6am, to arrive for breakfast and NO BACON was available (attendant states that she was cooking some), only eggs. So, we had some eggs, and rock hard wannabe mini cinnamon rolls, and waited for bacon. When she FINALLY delivered it to the steamer, the 3 people in line ahead of us TOOK IT ALL! On weekends, cook AT LEAST 2-3 lbs of bacon at the same time. And as soon as you deliver it to the steamer, start on the next batch. Also, the attendant could never catch up with eggs, breads, coffee. Hence, the need for a 2-team approach! And lastly, gor a hotel the size of yours - the breakfast was much too small. These should be easy fixes.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay, nonetheless. We were greeted with a smile and WARM COOKIES at the front desk when we checked in! They have a coffee/tea/hot chocolate station set up in the lobby 24/7. Their continental breakfast had a variety of options like eggs and sausage, waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, etc. The doors are not very thick so you can hear everything in the hallway, and at 2:30am people decided to hold a loud conversation and yell down the hall like it was the middle of the day. Aside from that, our stay was pleasant. The room was clean and had everything you expect in a hotel room. Plenty of outlets to charge your devices.

Great hotel! We were there one night. The clerk was friendly, chocolate chip cookies, coffee, tea, hot cocoa or cider were available at the front desk. The room was very clean and modern, great pillows, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. The breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again!
