The property was newly remodeled and looks great. Modern decor, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay, but there was no bacon and the sausages looked like they just popped them in the microwave for a minute, I prefer my breakfast meats a bit more well done. My only other complaint is that the water was just luke warm in the evenings but scolding hot in the mornings.

Nice and clean remodeled property with well-lit parking. Very quiet with a nice size TV for the space. They also offer free breakfast daily AND they are located near an excellent Waffle House.

Overall this was a good hotel and close to the Pepperplex where we had softball tournament. Front desk/ check in was smooth and lady was very friendly. Place is a bit dated. Kind of a musty smell throughout. Elevator broke the 2nd night we were there and we had to carry all luggage down from 3rd floor to check out. Not their fault but very inconvenient. Breakfast was about what you expect... nothing fancy. I would probably stay here again.

Check in was quick, although w were greeted by a scribbled note requesting “Don’t check out room, I’ll be back” with a phone number & a bell placed beside it. After waiting a moment and then ringing the bell, a staff member popped out from around the corner. Check in was prompt but we were disappointed to learn there’s no pool any more. Our room on the 2nd floor had a dirty bathroom shower with standing water & the cover to the shower pipe had become unglued from the wall. There was partially used complimentary toiletries that had soap scum or grease covering the plastic wrapping. The AC unit and window sill above it had dried paint & texture? splattered all across the top and there were several burnt out lightbulbs. Just not a wow experience by any means. The complimentary breakfast had lots of bread options but only 1 meat & had 1 community gallon of milk left in a mini fridge (I’m assuming for the cereal station) but no milk for the kids to drink, only juices from a dispenser. Overall our stay was okay, I don’t think I would book again though because amenities are better elsewhere.

This property in a former existence was a La Quinta, and since then has had a near-total renovation. The location is outside of town and is totally safe. There are a convenience store, Waffle House and Chili's, within easy walking distance, to supply any food, snacks and refreshments. The lobby and breakfast area are very clean, new, and attractive. The staff is absolutely top-notch, friendly and helpful. There is very little noticeable exterior noise, at least on the side away from the parking lot. My only disappointment was that the ground floor room I had was too close to the elevator, allowing for some late night disturbances. Oh yes, and an alarm clock that I could not really figure out how to silence.

Ms. Ella runs a tight ship. She and her staff were wonderful. Helpful, courteous, and very friendly. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights while attending the World Series Softball games that my granddaughter played in at the Youngsville Sports Complex. Would definitely stay there again.

What do you hope for when you stay at a hotel? They checked all of the boxes. I used a black light to check for cleanliness. I checked the walls, floor, fixtures, bedspread, sheets, and bathroom. Trust me, the room was clean! It's an older hotel, but everything has been updated. It looked nice and everything worked. When sleeping, the bed was very comfortable. Normally I don't sleep well in hotels, but the room was cool, dark, and very quiet and I slept like a baby. It could not have been better. Breakfast was good and as expected. This did not happen by accident and I appreciate their attention to detail. Thanks.

The room we were first given was not cleaned. We were quickly swapped to another room, which was great. Overall, we had a nice stay. I will say that I noticed every time we went to the front desk (to check in, to go back about our room not being cleaned, and to check out) each person working the front desk was on their phone and did not acknowledge us until I spoke. This happened 3 separate times, with 3 separate people. Not great service, but also not horrible.

We came to the area for a large weekend event. Our previously booked locations was experiencing water issues and we were suggested this location. The price was great with wonderful reviews. We LOVED the room. Single king bed, couch, two large tables to eat or work, several chairs, a bench, rolling stool, and coffee table. The breakfast was a standard hot breakfast with multiple options. Our only concerns were the air conditioning and hot water. We checked in and left for our event anticipating a return to the room being cool and ready for a good sleep. It never really got cold. Sleep was hard because the room felt somewhere in the mid 70s despite the thermostat going much lower. The hot water only got warm and not hot. Taking a shower wasn't quite as refreshing as we'd hoped. All in all we had a pleasant stay despite the small issues. We chalk it up to things happen and next time will probably be better. The room layout and amenities are enough for us to book again for future events.

I’m stalk my stay was fine. But did notice the room was a little stuffy so I went and bought a candle and from there it was fine. My fellow guest on my floor were loud at odd hours of the night but overall the stay was fine. I didn’t too much care for the bed. It felt like there was a mattress topper on there that I didn’t particularly care for.

We stayed here because we wanted to tour Avery Island. The area was OK. A lot of it was rundown. The actual downtown area of New Iberia was cute. Avery was awesome. The hotel room was a king suite. It was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Everything was OK except it had a very strong cologne smell, it took at least five minutes for the water to get hot and at 10:00 PM the Wi-Fi was no longer assessable. From what I saw, this was probably one of the nicer hotels in the area.

This was my second time staying here. I love this hotel so much. It was so luxuriously comforting! My daughter and I felt so good. The beds are so cozy. The room is dark and cool. The shower was lovely. It is so clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk was super nice and caring. Thank you so much for such an exquisite experience!

Ms. Ella property manager was cleaning around the clock!. She had it smelling so good! I’ve never seen a property manager that clean with their team. Front desk Clerk was super sweet and Quick with the check in process.

Front desk clerk should not be smoking right at the front door of the hotel. Both mornings the front desk Clerk was watching video on her phone super loud. And cereal the breakfast bar needs to be daily because I just sit there getting stale. What about good things? Quiet, quiet, convenient, comfortable.

The hotel itself was good. The location is odd to get to. The general area, feel, and some of the other guests were pretty sketchy. We didn't have any issues and our one night stay while passing through was fine, especially for the price, but I was a little worried.

We had a great stay. They let us check in early. The room was already cool, the a/c worked great. Super friendly people. They even put out freshly baked cookies, delicious! Completely safe place to stay. Avery Island and the Tabasco Factory Tour is close by.

This hotel is in a back corner next to a run down hotel that looks very sketchy. The hotel itself is well maintained and designed well. The location is horrible but the hotel is basic yet very clean. We switched hotels because the sketchy people from the run- down hotel were roaming around like crack heads and it did not create a safe feeling environment. We will not book this hotel again.

The stay here was better than expected. Front desk was great. The beds were comfy the pillows slept well, water pressure and temp in shower was good. TV was not working upon check in but it was fixed the next day. They have the usual common continental breakfast, area for breakfast was kept clean and tidy. A guest was annoyingly LOUD on the phone two mornings we were out for breakfast. Pretty decent stay.

The General Manager was over the top nice and told us to let her know of any issues. The renovations were 5 star nice. Breakfast was just so-so. Considering we booked the presidential suite we anticipated lox & bagels LOL but had to succumb to cereal and OJ. We'd stay there again without a second thought. Definitely recommend!
