The parking lot is full of massive potholes. Other than that, the property is lovely. But surely a large and established company like Hilton can afford to repave their parking lots as to a) make their property attractive and b) make is easier and safer for guests and their vehicles. And the insane mark up on the bottled water and the Advil was absolutely shameful.

The pool was emptied during our visit which was too bad because we pick hotels with pools for an activity with our kids. When we entered the room, there was a mess all over the carpet. It certainly wasn’t vacuumed. The bathroom soap was out of the box and a used towel was thrown on the sink. Other than this, the hotel was very modern and the room was spacious.

The pool was a little busy with guys playing football and cloudy and wondering about chemical balance. Breakfast was really good not included but good price. Need to offer milk with cookies to at least purchase the cookies were amazing but need milk. Lol. Was worried about thief in the parking lot but it was ok.

We loved our stay. The beds were very comfy. The pool was very nice. My friend and I stayed because my house was unlivable. The only issue I had was that the space outside the doors wasn't shoveled after our heavy snow. Or the path to my car. It was almost up to my knees. I did leave early at 6 but I thought the guy on the desk could have shoveled. My friend left at 3:30 which is really early but just outside the doors could have been shoveled. And I would like to get a receipt. I didn't get one when I checked out.

The washing machine area was extremely loud. Only one dryer was working. Front desk had no change. The gym only one Treadmill was working, I was there for over a week not fixed. Peloton bikes were not easy to use and front desk did not know anything.

We stayed in the double tree side of the hotel. Lobby was clean , staff was nice parking was free. The food and service at the restaurant was great (shoutout to Marg and Mira) and there is a full Starbucks in the building which was super convenient. The hotel elevators for the double tree side were very slow to go up and down and very quick to open and close. Not a great experience, the rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Would stay here again for sure.

Nicely renovated addition tower that we stayed in, for a King suite. Breakfast buffet was lovely, just would have been better if it was open later than 9:30am. Pool was great, very peaceful and plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. Overall a great stay!

I booked this hotel through Expedia and was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed was made, but the linens had clearly not been changed from the previous guest. There was hair in the bathroom, and the floor hadn’t been properly cleaned. Overall, the room felt unkept and unhygienic. Despite bringing this to the Hotel and Expedia’s attention, they refused to issue a refund. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

This hotel is starting to show its wear and tear. A year ago this hotel was spotless, it’s clear the cleaning standards have dropped significantly. Everything from the doors in the elevator to the sink in the bathroom and a spill on the wall in the bedroom had just been wiped not cleaned. I don’t believe I will book here again.

Unfortunately, when we arrived in our hotel room. It was not clean. There was red blood spots on the comforter. Dirt on the pillowcases. Wanted to take a shower, shower did not work. Staff was friendly and changed us to a new room, new room was not clean, it had a half used shampoo bottle on the floor of the shower, and the water did not stay warm in the shower. When we asked the front desk about it, she said that she thought there may be a problem in the boiler room. After many visits with the Hilton, this was a very disappointing visit.

Paid an arm and a leg to stay a night during Oktoberfest. Arrived at 5:25pm and the room wasnt ready. Had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. Front desk staff were struggling with almost every step of the check in process. Got up to room and heat was blasting, 24 degrees. Couldn't get the thermostat to do anything but heat, so turned it as low as it could go hoping the temp would level itself out while we were out. Arrived back around midnight, and the room was even hotter - the bathroom has heated floors that dont seem to have an off switch, and kept the whole room warm. There was a sign on the shower door advising to only use one side as it sticks - written on the back of a scrap of paper and scotch taped on. Looked like it had been there a while. The sign was worse than the issue it was calling attention to, and made me question the operator's standards overall. There were a few other tiny details about the hotel that just seemed half-a$sed. Minor gripes aside, it was a clean and comfortable stay (temperature aside), but didnt live up to the brand or the price tag.

I really appreciated how kind and helpful the hotel staff were during my stay. They were able to offer me my room early, which was so appreciated after a very long day of travel. I traveled and got to the hotel around midnight. I had to wait for more than 45 minutes because the system was not allowing the employee to take the safety deposit from my credit card due to a system error. Room was not clean. I had spots on almost everything. I called reception and asked for a spoon, they completely ignored me and never called me back

More oversite needs to happen with the Housekeeping staff. Several issues that should have been dealt with before check in. With the Global internet issue and room key problems that the front desk was dealing with a manager should have been available to deal with check ins instead of a person who was only on their second day on the job. The check-in process was easy and the front desk associate was great. The room was clean and spacious. The temperature had no middle ground, it was either too hot or too cold. The property was nice and clean and it was convenient to have a starbucks in the hotel. My only complaint was that room service was not possible in the days I was there. This was due to the fact that there was only one staff working at the bar/restaurant so I had to come down in order to get my food. The food was good, I am only mentionning it because I was having a leg issue so coming downstairs wasn't convenient but hey we all understand being short staffed. Other than that everything else was great, - good service, good food and friendly staff,

The staff is why I think this is 5-star hotel. I won't compare Kitchener to somewhere like Toronto, this hotel is class for where it is. I slept like a baby, the check-out and luggage policy was flexible and the cookie was worth the wait. Room turnaround was fast and convenient so I won't complain about anything amissed since my situation was urgent. I just think the gym and pool looks sad, though a hotel pool in Ontario today is rare and a nice plus, but I didn't use it. Breakfast was just ok, but plentiful spread.

We stayed at this hotels for two nights and had a very good experience. The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. The complimentary warm cookies at check in was a nice touch. Our room was clean and comfortable. The amenities offered at this hotel such as the pool and the Starbucks are a nice added bonus. There was plenty of parking which was great. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

We had to book this on short notice with our 3 granddaughters. The room with 2 queen beds and pullout couch was perfect. The rooms and hotel in general is very clean and the staff is excellent. The breakfast buffet was great to go to with the kids.
