I was really impressed. The hotel is clean and staff pleasant. The room was more of a minimalist style and functional. The only complaint I have is parking. The hotel only offers valet which is cool except I’m a person that likes to go when I’m ready and not wait for staff to locate my car. I chose the option to pay the fees at the parking garage. The daily rate states $30. When we first checked in, it was 3:30pm. We had to get ready for dinner reservations that were at 7:00 pm. We proceed to leave the parking deck at 6:30 pm. The fee was $24. Excuse me?!? Due to us rushing we paid it but I took a mental note. (In the future if you choose to use the deck park and Uber. Especially, if all your events are uptown.) We returned to the deck at 11/3/2024 @ 00:49. We proceeded to leave at 11/3/2024 @ 11:45. Why it says $78?!? Oh this time I had time so I spoke with the garage attendant who explained at 04:00 the time reset. Um…ok that still doesn’t add up. Thankfully after speaking to the attendant twice she made it right and validated the parking. If the staff has more than one valet person available then do the valet but if you choose the garage check your tickets.

Valet was a struggle. The two guys working it we’re doing the best they could but they need more people there on a Sunday checkout. People were waiting an hour to get their car. We ended up just getting our car ourselves.

The elevator was broke and they wanted you to walk your bags down three flight of stairs to check in. Then I was told that parking wasn’t validated and the price was $60. If I valet then it would be $46.

The property was upgrading its plumbing, so the guest did not have water during the hours of 9-5, which meant you had to hurry up and get ready instead of relaxing. Plus the bathroom shower door would not stay close. I expected so much more from a Marriott property. I am a Bonvy Member and I am still waiting for my points to post as well. I think they should have let the guest know when they booked, so we had the option to stay somewhere else.

Nice place, nice location. Make sure you use the valet parking. I pulled into the adjacent parking garage with the Hotel's name on it. On check in, the clerk asked if I wanted to use valet service. I told her I was in the garage already. She said nothing else. Driving to dinner 3 hours later, I had to pay $30 to get out. Speaking to the desk upon return, they said I should have used valet and since I already re-parked, I was subject to the city's parking garage rates. They don't own the garage. The next morning, $60 to get out. So....$90 to park for less than 24 hours! No help from the staff on this. Yikes.

Found blood specs on sheets, were able to get new ones to then find blood on pillows. Told the night time auditer who showed no concern about the issue. Did not stay the rest of booking.

Didn’t have room service the whole time I stayed I did request it one time on Sunday. Request a clean towels and toilet paper. Because we ran out of toilet paper and no one came and did the service got back to the room at 10 PM and I had to go down to get the stuff and then they told me you didn’t have washcloths.

When I walked into my room, I was very impressed! The layout of the king room was so nice. The bathroom was very spacious and fully stocked. The lighting was plentiful. The kitchen sink in the room with a full sized microwave, real flatware, dishes & a nice sized refrigerator were added touches. The desk was nice with a comfy chair. The lounge chair in the room was really nice as well. The whole room was aesthetically pleasing with a coffee maker and some of my favorite teas. The mirror/artwork piece in the main room was especially appealing!

We enjoyed our stay at Element! The staff was very friendly and even got us into our rooms a little early so that was nice. The room is super cute and clean. It has an oversized mini fridge, full size microwave, a sink and even a toaster and utensils in the cabinets. Also a Keurig. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The location is great for uptown Charlotte!

Great walking distance to Bank of America stadium. Friendly and helpful staff. The parking situation was awful also the ac in the room couldn’t keep up. The cook at breakfast when asked for sunny side up egg served a raw egg… that could be a risk of salmonella.

We loved this stay so much. We felt safe/easy walk to the stadium. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. Bed was comfy. Plenty of room for my kids’ pack n play and cot. Breakfast was nice. Staff were nice. My only complaint was parking. I would recommend to take the staff’s advice and do valet ($42). We chose to park ourselves (supposed to be $30 overnight) and got charged $60 when we left so I’ll work on disputing that - this is not the hotel’s fault just wanted other people staying to be aware about the parking situation in the garage!

The noise was terrible,card up and down the road all night,fire trucks horns blowing,,we was on the 6 floor and could still hear all the traffic up and down the road,the AC barely even worked,the elevator went to before time to leave and fire engines were called out,the valet parking was a joke,they were rude and when it was time to leave ,I went outside to get them to get my car,they had sent no ticket #,so they couldn’t find my car for 15mins and didn’t even seem to care they just kept on working! Do not stay there

This was the second time my mom and I stayed at this location and the staff are consistently so very kind and hospitable and helpful. Everyone has a kind and helpful demeanor and the facility is always clean. You really have figured out how to hire the right staff, from those that clean the room to the front desk staff, to the bar/kitchen/breakfast staff to the valet. Everyone was amazing! Kudos!

I booked a room here for a concert six months in advance. Received an email for Earley electronic check-in and proceeded to do so. Got an email at 3 o’clock saying my room was ready to check in. After the concert was over at midnight I proceeded to go check in where I was told they had sold my room and did not have any more rooms available. They gave me a voucher for an another hotel 25 minutes away in Fort Mill South Carolina. I stay was in North Carolina not South Carolina! My business was in downtown Charlotte not Fort Mills South Carolina. Very inconvenient after that reason I cannot recommend staying here.

No rooms available at check in time. People lined up out the door for hours after check in waiting on a room to be ready. Manager was unapologetic about the issues. Rooms were assigned to people that still had people in them. We waited over an hour in an overcrowded lobby for a room to be ready with the manager telling people that the concert didn't start until after check in time so it wasn't a big deal. I feel the hotel should issue a partial refund to all guests coming in that day due to not being able to be in their room as advertised so basically not getting what you paid for. There was only 1 working elevator so always a long wait for the elevator and the stairwell was locked so it wasn't an option to use the stairs. When we arrived we talked to someone who said it would be 30 minutes and an hour later found out that one lady was making a list of names based on when you got there and the one who we talked to wasn't so our name wasn't even on the list that they were giving rooms out by.

I booked a weekend stay to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn’t have been better. The hotel is beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the whole experience was amazing! The front desk staff and parking service were excellent. super friendly and efficient. I totally recommend it. 👍

I stayed at the Element Charlotte Uptown for a Mary Kay event so the hotel was quite busy during my stay. There were some bumps but the hotel staff went above and beyond to quickly correct the issues that came up.

My wife and I attended a preseason football game at the Bank of America Stadium. This location was very convenient. The employees here are all very nice. The rooms are very clean. Beds are comfortable the showerhead really good water. Breakfast had a wide variety, including croissants, bagels, a yogurt bar, and you could order hot food as part of your stay. All at a reasonable price compared to surrounding hotels.

Perfect! It took me a while to decide on this property due to some of the negative reviews. Don't believe them. It was perfect. Even with a sold out capacity, everything was perfect. The only small issue was that there was only 1 cook during breakfast and she seemed a bit overwhelmed. It's understandable and the meal was still great. I'd stay here again and again.

A few friends and I stayed here for the grand national tour. Our room had a few hiccups but front desk was amazing and handled everything perfectly. The hotel is walking distance (10mins) to the Bank of America stadium so that was a plus. Cons: the breakfast workers are so rude. The male that made the pancakes had the worst attitude and the cleaning staff was throwing things around the lounge area. Parking was 40 for valet parking or 60 for the garage.

Overall our stay was nice. The staff (everyone we encountered) was friendly, the hotel was clean, my room was clean and quite. My two issues were the breakfast that was included in our very inflated bill was not as advertised. It seems the staff simply did not show to cook a hot breakfast for patrons. Also, one of the elevators had a service issue and did not work when it was time to check out. These issues were presented to the young girl working the desk. She was polite, took my contact information, and assured someone would be intouch to discuss how this can be rectified. I look foward to hearing from someone this week.
