Stayed 1 night

The room was terrible .we were told we would have courtyard view .we have stayed at Haven Hotel several times before over a few years always been really happy with our rooms.we were put in room 205 fully frosted window that was locked shut it was very windy outside we had to push tissue in it to stop it rattling .overnight there was a.continous load noise from a generator or something outside window we couldn't see out to see what it was. Also a dog was barking on corridor opposite for some time in evening .then a noisy group came in at 2-30 am didn't get any sleep at all.it was our wedding anniversary and my 80th birthday ,it was only for 1 night and I should have complained at time put up with it .I felt ill all next day because of the stress .we went on to stay at.Durley Dene hotel in Bournemouth for next two nights and it was lovely.not one problem .I just hope Haven look into this as it ruined our weekend we won't be staying there again

Sea view wonderful! Staff slow to respond and sometimes forgot about us in the restaurant or not in reception when required which was disappointing. Lady in reception on the phone for ages this morning when we wanted to check out so we gave up and left our key cards on the desk. Not good!!
