Hotel was good, staff friendly, room clean. However, a room down the hall from us had guests that were smoking marijuana and it made the whole hallway smell, even after housekeeping cleaned it. Also, they really push the trolley system, but it is very inconvenient using it to get back after a large event in the stadiums, uber is a better option and ends up being the same price for multiple people, as you pay for the trolley per person and the driver never even asked for our tickets.

We were very please with our stay. We had a 5 night stay, upon arrival the guest services lady, Connie, was very pleasant. Our room was equipped with a refridgerator, freezer, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, an electric range stove top, microwave sink and dishwasher. There is also a very large desk/counter top with rolling chair, our bed and a comfy lounge chair. Lighting was great in the room. The ac was a little on the loud side and the room temp would go back and forth between cold and warm but overall it was decent. The only thing we wished we had was a pool. I did not realize when I booked the room, but that is on me. Plenty of access through multiple entry ways, elevators and stairs. We saved a lot of money by having the kitchen essentials, it allowed us to cook in our room rather than eat out every meal. The fitness eqipment was great too. Bed was comfortable and the surrounding area seemed safe and quiet. This location was centeral to a lot of things to do. We were in town for a convention and to visit Six Flags. It was a 4 minute drive to Six Flags and a 6 minute drive to the football and baseball stadium as well as the convention center, Texas Live, and a walmart superstore, pus lots of gas stations and restaurants. Highly recommend for a decent hotel stay without a pool

Upon check-in, we found out that the pool was not functioning, the elevator was broken, and our floor was on the fourth floor. The hallways and stairwells are in bad shape and dirty. The rooms have been renovated and aren’t bad at all, except that there were no towels in our room and when requested, we were told they are out of towels. There was also no breakfast or coffee served.

First, the staff at Sonesta is excellent and customer-focus, that is one of the reasons I have stayed at this facility several times. Plus I love the location and trolley access to football games. Because I have a dog who I love dearly their pet area is awesome. But I would for this location to update their fitness center. The equipment is fairly old compared to other hotels I’ve also visit.

The App TRIPSHOT needed to use to make reservations for shuttle is horrible!! The App freezes. Does not work on some phones. App has option to make reservations for more than self, but shuttle won't accept that. Every passenger has to make own reservation. Almost didn't get to go to concert due to these APP issues! TV remote didn't work.

The room had plenty of space for 4 of us. The kitchen was perfect size and plenty of room for all of our stuff. Some of the areas were dusty and there were dead waterbugs and roaches in the bathroom. There was a live water bug in the closet that ran off somewhere. They didn’t service our room when we were gone and we were never told if we had to request service.

The rooms are renovated and generally clean however the rest of the hotel was old and run down. the whole place smelled of old cigarettes and mildew but they were trying to cover it up with air fresheners that were so overpowering. the smell sticks to you when you leave. the rooms had the same air freshener smell just not as much mildew. they also make you pay for parking but its just an open lot, nothing special or secured. parking should be included in the room rate. wouldn't stay here again and we debated finding another hotel even after we checked in.

Overall the staff was very helpful and welcoming. However, there was blood on my sheets and when I turned on the water is was black for awhile. Otherwise it was not a bad stay.

My stay was pleasant. When I entered the room it had the lite smell of smoke, however I brought with me the small space air freshener. The appliances were funcional, but are dated. The room was comfortable. The staff was helpful during check in. The parking lot need more light, the dull lights can be unsafe for everyone, especially solo travelers. During check out, I was walking down the hall towards the elevator and seen a large cockroach on the wall, so the building may need an exterminator.

Stayed at the hotel because it was pretty close to AT&T stadium and the airport. Location of hotel is great. Was greeted by friendly staff members. The overall hotel itself was very nice on the outside, however Inside was a little worn down and didn’t look like the pictures as advertised. The room didn’t smell fresh, the refrigerator had looked worn down on the outside and everything looked outdated. The bathroom also was also a little deceiving from the pics. There were some hairs on the soap bottles by the sink and in the shower.

Was deceived by ratings. Was met by a roach in my room within 3 hours of checking in and duvet cover was dirty. Told front desk of both issues. Duvet was changed but replacement was stained. Told them I’d killed the roach and left it on the floor for evidence when they came in to change the bed cover. Now I have to fumigate my clothes when I get home to make sure no bugs are transported there. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The smell was so nauseating. It was like a very strong smell of way to much air freshener to cover up a mildew smell. The smell was so intense that I was unable to sleep. Perfect place for us to stay for the night after the Cowboys game! The hotel offers a trolley shuttle to the stadium, or it’s not a long way to the stadium so ubers were pretty cheap. The hotel is perfectly clean, just not recently updated. Some of the furniture and appliances were clearly at least 15 years old. No complaints though, the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating.

My second stay. The halls smelled last time but the room was fine. This time the entry way and hall smelled and my room smelled. I called the front office and they moved me to a different room which smelled fine. The plug didn't work in the bathtub so I had to rig something to take a bath. This time I checked in on Friday and my check out was Sunday and I asked about the Internet and it was out until Tuesday, which is unacceptable to me. I ended up having to take care of some business on my phone. The staff is pleasant enough. It's nice to have a place to walk my dogs in the back. They have a flag an American flag hanging that's kind of a disgrace. It's tattered on one end like it had been through a war and they really need to replace it. The price is right except $75 for Dogs to stay two nights plus tax. I've never heard of them adding tax to a pet fee. So I wasn't thrilled about that. I still think it's a decent place for the money. It's good to have a full kitchen. The room was clean and the AC worked fine and the TV worked fine. I did not use the washing machine and dryers this time. It doesn't have a pool and they do not offer Breakfast. Both those things are kind of a drag.

Internet is slow. 5mb? That’s 2003 speeds. It’s 2025 now. No caffeinated coffee. The staff told me it was caffeinated, but it CLEARLY said it was decaffeinated on the label. Staff was polite overall, but stay was just OK.

I liked that the property location and settings were built on a quiet and safe backstreet, although just 1-2 minutes from the main boulevard street corridors abd interstates that connected us to all of the entertainment districts, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and most importantly of all to six flags over texas amusement park and their hurricane 🌀 harbor waterpark, along with being only minutes away from the Dallas Cowboys AT&T football stadium!!! 🏟 Sonesta Simply Suites in Arlington Texas has the best quests hotel staff members in which I have encountered in years, during my multiple travel destinations! Thank you Sonesta for your great hospitality towards me and my family! We will be back to stay with you on our next trip to Dallas!!!
I liked that the property location and settings were built on a quiet and safe backstreet, although just 1-2 minutes from the main boulevard street corridors abd interstates that connected us to all of the entertainment districts, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations and most importantly of all to six flags over texas amusement park and their hurricane 🌀 harbor waterpark, along with being only minutes away from the Dallas Cowboys AT&T football stadium!!! 🏟 Sonesta Simply Suites in Arlington Texas has the best quests hotel staff members in which I have encountered in years, during my multiple travel destinations! Thank you Sonesta for your great hospitality towards me and my family! We will be back to stay with you on our next trip to Dallas!!!

Everything was very good at this hotel for our two night stay. The best thing of all was front desk supervisor Carla, who elevated our stay from four star to five star. She really is the superstar of the hotel and we would come back specifically for her.

Terrible customer service. We had called a week prior to verify that we could check in early they told us yes just call at 12 the day of check in and let us know you will be there early and that there would be a $25 early check in fee. On the day of the guy that was up front answering the phone was very disrespectful yelling at my friend and I on the phone the we could not check in early and that they had no rooms available… how do you have NO ROOMS AVAILABLE if your check out time is 11 and check in isn’t until 4!? I already had a room reserved so why is there no room available for me to check in to? We ended up just getting another hotel that allowed us to check in early. I will NEVER waste my money here again.

I cannot express enough the absolute incredible and wonderful service provided by Carla, the manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a very memorable stay. She is completely awesome and provided us excellent customer service. And even arranged for us to have a once in a lifetime experience while staying there. This hotel is top of the line with perfect amenities! Thanks again to Carla for all her help. My mom, hubby, and I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Arlington!

Stayed at the hotel because it was pretty close to AT&T stadium and the airport. Location of hotel is great. Was greeted by friendly staff members. The overall hotel itself was very nice on the outside, however Inside was a little worn down and didn’t look like the pictures as advertised. The room didn’t smell fresh, the refrigerator had looked worn down on the outside and everything looked outdated. The bathroom also was also a little deceiving from the pics. There were some hairs on the soap bottles by the sink and in the shower.

My second stay. The halls smelled last time but the room was fine. This time the entry way and hall smelled and my room smelled. I called the front office and they moved me to a different room which smelled fine. The plug didn't work in the bathtub so I had to rig something to take a bath. This time I checked in on Friday and my check out was Sunday and I asked about the Internet and it was out until Tuesday, which is unacceptable to me. I ended up having to take care of some business on my phone. The staff is pleasant enough. It's nice to have a place to walk my dogs in the back. They have a flag an American flag hanging that's kind of a disgrace. It's tattered on one end like it had been through a war and they really need to replace it. The price is right except $75 for Dogs to stay two nights plus tax. I've never heard of them adding tax to a pet fee. So I wasn't thrilled about that. I still think it's a decent place for the money. It's good to have a full kitchen. The room was clean and the AC worked fine and the TV worked fine. I did not use the washing machine and dryers this time. It doesn't have a pool and they do not offer Breakfast. Both those things are kind of a drag.

It’s not valet, covered, gated, or even private. First time I’ve ever had to pay for parking at a hotel as a paid guest. There is seemingly no ice machine or drink machines on site. This is truly a no frills place to stay. The bed and pillows were good, so there’s that. The staff was really nice and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower, this is sufficient. Hotel looked nice from the outside but the inside of our room wasn’t as nice as the picture made it seem. Our door would stick to get into the room. Thankfully my husband was there to help open the door. Our air conditioner wasn’t cooling the rooms off properly. The bed was broken in the bedroom. Looked like it could use a new box spring.
