15 minute drive to the airport and blue mall. It has a nice pool, friendly staff, and no children. It’s quiet during the day, but it gets loud at night because Coco Bonggo is nearby. Nice view of the fireworks at night. Private parking is available and a security guard is present.

Amazing property! I was hesitant to book since there wasn’t a lot of reviews but it looks exactly like the pictures. Room looks exactly like the pictures and so clean and spacious. I used the gym and pool and they were both so clean. Room was modern and aesthetic. Food is available on the property and very good.

Pool area was really nice and the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and property allowed food deliveries easily. Restaurant drinks were slightly overpriced but overall would stay again.

it was a really nice experience . I was coming from a 5 start hotel and was so disappointed of how much money we spent and they did not provide us with clean towels or housekeeper the 3 days I stayed there. FARANDA HOTEL went above and beyond since the moment we checked in. excellent service staff was very friendly . they have 24 hour security. Also they have kitchen and laundry inside the room. It was very convenient . the pool is great and they also have restaurant in the hotel .Im definitely coming back to FARANDA HOTEL instead of paying so much for all inclusive hotel . The hotel also is located close to Downton Punta Cana .

This is a boutique hotel with a very personal service.Its well located and has the benefit of a beach club access to a nice beach (close drive from the hotel facilities and free).

It is a nice new hotel and staff are friendly. Big room with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Good breakfast and dinner. The location is a super busy intersection so quite noisy all the time. Nice pool and a nice living room shared area for guests. Sofa and bathroom not completely clean. Bathroom hook was loose.

Room was very large, clean and comfortable. Property is pretty close to the airport and there are many stores and restaurants you can walk to.

The apartment was beautiful and spacious. It was strange that the bed was up on a higher area, which was really a fall hazard. I put my clothes in one of the drawers and it was full of mildew and mold and it ruined several hundred dollars worth of my personal property, I had to throw away. The construction noise was absolutely completely unbearable.

The hotel was nice and new. The staff was great the only bad was the room has a little smell like sewer. I didn’t complain at the front desk because I was too tired to change but is the only reason a don’t add the 5 stars

I had a wonderful stay here, it is a beautifully designed and peaceful property with a spacious studio room which includes a washer and dryer. The pool area is nice, the gym is big and includes more equipment than any other hotel gym I have seen. The food at the restaurant is very tasty. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. There is construction across the way although I didn't hear any noise at all. Things that could have improved my stay: - the room had a very strong smell of stale cigarette smoke which was in the air, in the fabrics (sofa and bedding), and subsequently in all my clothes once I arrived home; which is unpleasant as a non-smoker. - There was no hot water on the first night (this was resolved the next day by simply turning a switch - information that was not shared with me at check-in). - The buttons on the phone are labelled incorrectly meaning I had to leave the room to communicate with reception. - Housekeeping could be more thorough; old coffee left in coffe maker, no forks available in kitchen, cushions from garden chairs left on floor outside. - No hooks at all in bathroom for towels, pajamas etc. All in all a lovely and relaxing stay.

Clean property and great rooms.

First off the property is hard as hell to find. Like the gps could not get us there due to new construction project and gos not aware, and the Spanish speaking locals could not help my English speaking self. It is located off a dirt road with no signage off a highway. The room itself emits very nice but there were hella bugs in there like mosquitoes and flies. Not hella but a few and that was livable. What took the cake was there were ants in the bed. Yes actual ants coming out and from the bed pillows etc. that was the only place I seen them but that was the worse place they could be. After coming in after partying all unwanted to do was sleep but couldn’t sleep in the bed due to that and it was like 5 am I didn’t want to move rooms so I just stuck it out. They did have a pullout couch but I wanted the king. Other than the flies, mosquitoes. And ants it was nice. Staff was super nice and cool.

Excelente opcion si tu plan es salir de tours que llevan todo el dia. Hotel nuevo. Buena limpieza. Suites muy amplias. Baños amplios, solo poca presion en regadera en el 3er piso que nos hospedamos. Cuenta con lavadora y secadora sin costo. Buena alberca, muy grande. Adecuado servicio. Agarren opcion de desayuno ya que si no aprox gastas 15 dlls por persona por desayuno. Restaurant con misma comida todos los dias, basica pero de buen sabor. Muy comodo, nada ruidoso. Esta sobre la carretera, CocoBongo queda a menos de 5 min en carro asi como downtown de Punta Cana. Aeropuerto queda a 20 min aprox. Malo: colchones muy duros y almohadas muy altas. No descansamos bien por eso. Si lo recomiendo.

Located perfectly near downtown Punta Cana, walkable. Hotel was really clean and well kept, staff was super friendly. The room was amazing and super clean, only issue was there was absolutely no water pressure so showering took forever. I asked for a late check out and was charged $20/hour which was a little disappointing. Overall I will return and enjoyed my time in Punta Cana

Excellent hotel. Only complain i have are the cable not working and when working very limited channel selection. Other than that very nice and comfortable.

Suite was very large and clean. Kitchenette didn’t have any plates, bowls, glasses or cutlery.

There\'s construction all around the property. Outside of that surprisingly there was no outside noise. The room is beautiful. We both said "Wow" coming in. The weirdest thing is that the bed is on a platform that is about 2 feet off the floor. My wife had a bad knee so it was difficult for her to get up and down from there. We didn\'t hot water in the shower but did have hot water in the sink which was odd. I was told room service is 24 hours so we should have called. They could have fixed it. The place is nice but the Food is exceptional! I had what I dare to say the most flavorful tacos I ever had. The bartend /waiter made an amazing drink as a former Bartender myself, it exquisitely mixed full of flavor. My palate was satisfied. I wished I had stayed there than the resort we were at. Thank you!

A 55” television A huge kitchen Even a washer and a dryer The gym was open 24 hours a day The pool was gorgeous and open from 7am until midnight I have traveled to over a hundred countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels This one is exceptional The staff was very friendly and polite I will stay there again

I accidentally booked two nights using a thirds party application. I informed the Faranda hotel within an hour of booking when I checked in. They advised me the refund would have to come from the third part booking agent which was not true. I checked out the following day and they have since refused to refund me for the 2nd night. Aside from that, the hotel was nice.

I love how close this property is to downtown, you can walk or take a quick uber. It’s the perfect spot to be if you want to explore Punta Cana. The staff made me feel very comfortable as a solo tracker and they helped me figure out where to go and how to get there. The hospitality was 10/10 and I would come back here without a doubt! There is development (new buildings and properties being built) happening around the property but honestly it didn’t bother me with all the other beautiful views. Coco Bongo is near by so the music was loud late at night, but that never took away from the quality of my stay.

Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, incredibly well managed. Pool area is one of the nicest I have ever been to, the restaurant is great, just all around a fabulous place to stay. I had a problem with my rental car and Rafael went above and beyond to help me. He and his staff are super friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough about how terrific Faranda is. If you are coming Punta Cana you have to stay here.

I had a terrible experience at Faranda hotel. I almost got robbed by a local and the staff made it seem as if it was my faul. Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. They even tried suggesting I go to another hotel for the night. Someone barged in my room and refused to get out when asked to leave. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better in my opinion. That being said, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I felt hopeless and scared for my life. Thank goodness I had a villa booked with family for the rest of my stay. But I will never travel out the country a day before my family arrives ever again. That was a huge mistake on my part. But I would’ve appreciated if the staff did better at resolving the problem. I believe his name was Francisco. If so, do better Francisco. This was my first time ever visiting the DR. And my first day was a complete disaster. I had to scream for help, and I felt alone and scared for my life. Very traumatic experience. Suggesting I should leave and book another hotel bc someone refused to leave my room was very shocking. Especially seeing the fact that he tried ROBBING ME! That being said, everyone, do yourself a huge favor and don’t book here. Unless you’re fully armed and ready for battle. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life and I’m just grateful to be able to even be writing this. Barricading my self I. My hotel room was not on my agenda of things to do while visiting the DR. 0.4/10 stars.

My stay was fabulous. I was solo on business. DianaBell was wonderful. Her customer service was A1. I had dinner at Noah across the street the shuttle picked me up and brought me back. I had breakfast and met with Borjo in management, very nice person. This place was beautiful. I will definitely be back.

The concept is good for a la aid back travel but doesn’t have much for a tourist who does speed Spanish or French staff aren’t bi lingual

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Only comment is that is hard to find hotel location even with GPS, other than that everything was excellent.

The hotel itself is nice but it’s in a very inconvenient place. Most Ubers take the wrong road to get there as it’s right off of the highway and they cannot turn left from the right express lane (they have to make u turn about 1/4 mile down).

Pros: The hotel is new, neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Has gym, nice pool, good restaurant. It was a very nice place to stay. Most amenities are good. Overall, I will recommend this hotel, especially if you want to be around the Coco Bongo/downtown area. Cons: There are no good access roads to the hotel. Especially, coming from the south, the Uber drivers tend to get lost trying to avoid the long 3 km+ loopback on the highway. Rooms can add tea bags, creamer for coffee, paper towels. Also, they should be able to convert currency. I am sure in time all the cons will get fixed.

The hotel is very nice and the room is big and beautiful. The location was a bit tricky. Downtown is walking distance but not really safe to go walking, major and busy intersections to cross.

The hotel is very isolated, and the only way to get out of the area is to take the very dangerous « stairs » made of rocks a few meters away from the hotel.

The room and property itself is wonderful. Staff work hard and are attentive and very helpful. The pool was kept clean and beautiful. The gym was adequate for us. There is a small mall close by with grocery store. The negatives are that there is lots of construction and a busy highway so not really recommended to walk anywhere which we like to do

Booked three nights at this hotel but we had to leave after one night. This is located approximately 15 miles from the beach. It’s located right on a main highway with a lot of road noise all night long. It’s also located one block away from Cocoa Bongo, which has the loudest club music playing and spotlights going until very late at night, maybe three or 4 o’clock in the morning. This property is also surrounded on every side by new construction being done, so starting at 7 o’clock in the morning there is hammering and banging and saws running etc. The room itself was spotless and very modern and a very nice hotel, if it were located away from all of the noise and near the beach it would’ve certainly been a 4 1/2 or five stars.

Access is tricky

There is a lot of work that needs to done to this Hotel. The electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom and kitchen. I had problems with getting new towels daily. You have to be really careful if driving in there parking lot the curbs are built to high. I scrapped the bottom of my rental car trying to turn out of the parking lot. I also, watched others encounter the same problem with the high curbs. Their breakfast menu is limited. They only serve bacon and eggs. No other options for breakfast. The food takes forever to receive after you order. They have a very small kitchen so be prepare to way awhile for your meal.

Muy bonito el hotel es nuevo así que todo está en perfectas condiciones, la entrada está algo confusa porque la calle está con tierra (le falta señalización) muchos uber y locatarios no lo conocen pues es un hotel nuevo pero diciendo que está cerca de cocobongo ya lo ubican el retorno desde el cocobongo es largo pero vale la pena, su restaurante es muy chiquito y tardan mucho en servir los alimentos pero está todo delicioso.

The whole experience from checking in to checking out was smooth. Breakfast was cooked to order which I liked. There is only a limited option, but each of the option are complete meal so no problem. I would recommend to others. The only problem is sometimes Uber driver or any other transportation companies have a hard time finding it because it’s a new development. So I recommend sending your location if you have drivers who has to meet you at the hotel.

The room is clean and spacious. The food is very good. The menu has limited choices. The restaurant has only outdoor dining. It is a big problem for the mosquitoes at night.

Booked a room here late at night when my flight home was canceled last minute and everything was great. The men who checked us in and showed us to our room were extremely friendly, the servers at the bar were so kind and the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. The rooms are absolutely stunning as well! I wish I could have stayed longer.
