The view was great and it was in a good location with lots of parking. The pool area was very poor and the pool liner filthy - it’s about half the size of a domestic pool. The bar wasn’t open the night we were there which was disappointing

Great location with a secure car park. The reception staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant on the Cite de Carcassonne is fantastic. Very small pool but nice to cool off and relax in after a long journey. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning.

Voyage en couple pour les jours de Noêl. Bon accueil de la part du Personnel. Chambres n'ont pas évolué depuis des années et auraient besoin d'un vrai raffraichissement. Vue avec balcon sur la citadelle, magnifique ! Piscine chauffée offrant un comfort supplémentaire mais cependant vieillisante malgré tout (liner usé par le temps) Literie de qualité supérieure ! petit déjeuner varié mais n'offrant pas tous les services (manque de pain, de vienoiseries, plats chauds....) Le comble est que les services de la mairie viennent à 7h30 remplir leurs engins de nettoyage Nicollin juste en dessous des balcons tout en restant au moins 3/4 d'heure à discuter fort.......pas top de laisser faire ceci.... stationnement en sous terrain permettant la sécurisation de votre véhicule, moyennant 10 euros par nuit. expérience globale mitigée dans son ensemble. We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. The restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing - The roof top bar area had an incredible view of the castle but we didn’t get chance to sit there - otherwise I would have given a higher score

Great location right next to the Aude River and River trail/walk. Great view of the citadel. Comfortable brooms, friendly staff and easy parking. Nancy comped my service dog fees which was appreciated. Street parking is free. 10-12 spots right by hotel. Underground parking for the tribe is 25€ per day. We walked to the citadel and we walked to multiple squares to eat in or near the town center. Went for the Tour de France stayed an extra day. All good, would stay again.

Breakfast less than other hotels we visited. Strange property layout…2 wings. One elevator went up to 5. The other went up to 4. We had to go down to 0 walk down the hall to another elevator to get to breakfast. Had a nice rooftop bar that nobody told us about. Parking inconvenient. No bar/restaurant/store nearby. Room was comfortable.

This hotel has a cool vibe, with nice touches such as water machines (both fizzy and still) on each floor. The rooms are not big, but very practical and breakfast included in our rate was extremely good. We didn't use the pool, but the rooftop terrace is terrific. It's worth going to the bar/restaurant for the views alone. Reasonably priced. A great stay

Overall it was ok, but things to note before staying here. There is no lift from the underground parking to the hotel, just stairs. The rooms are very dark and carpets are stained and our room smelt of curry. Our first room has broken air conditioning, so I was loathed to move again. The toilet smelt of waste and there are no mattress protectors on the beds, just the bottom sheet straight to mattress which is certainly not 4* hotel level and very unhygienic. We slept with our own towels beneath us to try protect us. The room as a good size and the shower was powerful enough and very large. The breakfast was surprisingly good but I wouldn’t pay more than 10 euros pp for it. Hotel in a good location, a 10 minute walk over the bridge to the old town. The girl on reception was extremely unfriendly and not helpful at all. The pool was not in good repair, the liner was coming away in places and the re furb on it was very poor. Not a welcoming pool by any standards. Overall a very below average stay and I wouldn’t stay again or recommend to friends or family.

Perfect location and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast. We selected the hotel as it has a room terrace and bar, but unfortunately neither the website or booking info mentioned that this was closed on Sunday and Monday evening.

El hotel, en general está bien. En las habitaciones dobles normales el wc es extremadamente pequeño, es un habitaculo de escasamente 1m cuadrado, lo que digiculta enormemente cualquier accion. La limpieza es justa, habia zonas con polvo acumulado de varios dias.

Great location between the old town and new town, with great rooftop view of the old town. The room was clean with standard facilities including a safe in the room. The bathroom was split with toilet separate room from sink and shower. The room colour scheme was dark which when faced inwards made the room overall quite dark even with main lights on. Sounded like the room was above the kitchen with a lot of banging pots heard until midnight and then again from 6am so not as restful as would like.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The breakfast was very good with fresh produce and a great choice. I would give the hotel 10/10 except for the toilet. The bathroom and toilet are separate which is a great idea except the toilet was basically in a cupboard. When I sat on the toilet my knees were up against the door and the only way I could comfortably use the toilet was to leave the door open. I am not tall only 5 foot 6 but it was impossible to use the toilet with the door closed. It was the most claustrophobic one I have ever been in. Whoever designed the toilet should be sacked, it is only suitable for little people. This is my only gripe with the hotel, everything else was perfect, beds were very comfortable.

Vista spettacolare, ma la camera 4° piano fronte ascensore era un po' angusta (anche il bagno in realtà) con un colore nero alla parete fronte letto poco rilassante, a tratti opprimente in pratica godi della vista mozzafiato solo se ti accomodi nel balcone. Il wc è separato, in un metro quadro di pareti dove se chiudi la porta sbatti le ginocchia. Cena molto buona, ragazze del ristorante gentili:) In camera ho apprezzato che ci fosse sia la macchinetta per caffè, che il bollitore e l'acqua è erogata gratis e fresca in un distributore nel corridoio.

Very nice hotel just outside Carcassonne Cite. With easy access to the Cite and the Town for shops - only about 20 mins walk from the train station. Beautiful view overlooking the Castle and the river. We had a 2nd floor room which had a mini balcony for sitting out on. Room was spacious, just a couple of niggly things like no soap in soap dispenser and missing coffee cups but otherwise all good. Good TV Channel selection and WiFi worked well. Overall a nice hotel, would stay here again.

Hotel was fine. Interesting decoration and a nice rooftop bar. Room was clean, bed comfy, bathroom nice. Easily walkable to the cite. Sound proofing in the hotel is not great and the balcony doors didn’t do much to stop the outside noise. Staff were fine, but not particularly warm or friendly. In summary, an okay hotel and experience, but I feel we could have got better value elsewhere.

Personale della hall molto impreparati e anche poco cortesi sia al check-in che al checkout volevano farci pagare la colazione che invece era compresa già nel costo di ogni camera prenotata con Expedia . Per il resto posizione molto vicina alla città vecchia e ottima colazione . All ingresso della hall un odore sgradevole di cui non abbiamo capito da cosa fosse generato .

Great location right next to the Aude River and River trail/walk. Great view of the citadel. Comfortable brooms, friendly staff and easy parking. Nancy comped my service dog fees which was appreciated. Street parking is free. 10-12 spots right by hotel. Underground parking for the tribe is 25€ per day. We walked to the citadel and we walked to multiple squares to eat in or near the town center. Went for the Tour de France stayed an extra day. All good, would stay again.

Overall it was ok, but things to note before staying here. There is no lift from the underground parking to the hotel, just stairs. The rooms are very dark and carpets are stained and our room smelt of curry. Our first room has broken air conditioning, so I was loathed to move again. The toilet smelt of waste and there are no mattress protectors on the beds, just the bottom sheet straight to mattress which is certainly not 4* hotel level and very unhygienic. We slept with our own towels beneath us to try protect us. The room as a good size and the shower was powerful enough and very large. The breakfast was surprisingly good but I wouldn’t pay more than 10 euros pp for it. Hotel in a good location, a 10 minute walk over the bridge to the old town. The girl on reception was extremely unfriendly and not helpful at all. The pool was not in good repair, the liner was coming away in places and the re furb on it was very poor. Not a welcoming pool by any standards. Overall a very below average stay and I wouldn’t stay again or recommend to friends or family.

Great location with a secure car park. The reception staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant on the Cite de Carcassonne is fantastic. Very small pool but nice to cool off and relax in after a long journey. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning.

Nice welcome on arrival, very pleasant & helpful receptionist. Our room was a reasonable size, the small balcony overlooked the river with a good view of the medieval city. The hotel is roughly equally distant from that & the 'newer' city, which still has lots of interesting old buildings. We took the breakfast which was ok, the coquetted eggs could be a bit hit & miss. All in all a very pleasant stay

Very nice hotel just outside Carcassonne Cite. With easy access to the Cite and the Town for shops - only about 20 mins walk from the train station. Beautiful view overlooking the Castle and the river. We had a 2nd floor room which had a mini balcony for sitting out on. Room was spacious, just a couple of niggly things like no soap in soap dispenser and missing coffee cups but otherwise all good. Good TV Channel selection and WiFi worked well. Overall a nice hotel, would stay here again.

The view was great and it was in a good location with lots of parking. The pool area was very poor and the pool liner filthy - it’s about half the size of a domestic pool. The bar wasn’t open the night we were there which was disappointing

We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. The restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which was disappointing - The roof top bar area had an incredible view of the castle but we didn’t get chance to sit there - otherwise I would have given a higher score

Nice hotel, welcoming and comfortable. Restaurant food lacked in choice for vegetarians and vegans, not really any healthy choice. But the staff were lovely and the service was great. Room was comfortable and practical, though the colour choice was a bit odd & the shower was small even for me, a small woman. But that could be that I had the odd room at the end of the corridor that the designer squeezed in.

The hotel is ideally situated to walk to the castle in 15 minutes in one direction as well as a 15 minute walk in the other direction to the town. The staff were really helpful and friendly, making our stay very pleasing. Our room had a small balcony, which looked over the pont vieux, the river as well as part of the castle. The room itself was very clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed and a good shower area. One downside was the small toilet area in a separate room/cupboard. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of foods and drinks to choice from. The hotel offered secure underground parking at a rate of $15 per day. We paid for the parking, but if you want to save some money, there is a small public car park near the hotel for free.
