Very much in need of repairs. Door to room looked like someone broke into it. Card scanner to get in from outside missing, anyone could walk in. Felt very unsafe. Would not stay here again or recommend.

One issue with the property are the side doors. They're not locked, so anyone can walk into the building. There is no location to swipe your hotel key to unlock the door. Another issue is the breakfast area is very small, so they're trying to fit in a lot in a very small space. No more than two guests can be in line for anything. I was a little alarmed that wires are running uncovered for the security cameras. No case to protect them. My biggest complaint is the room. I booked a king bed, but the bed I got looked smaller than a queen bed. I went down to the front desk and asked for a price difference on the room, but she didn't care to do anything. I took a picture of the bed with a suit on it for comparison. The bed is smaller than a queen, and the website doesn't have any double rooms available. The photos of the rooms are just concept photos. Nothing like the real thing.

The parking lot is terrible and shared with other properties. Fonding a spit is difficult to say the least. The room is cheap because its filthy. Two towels and one hand towel is meeting a couples badic needs I guess. My suggestion is to spend $40 more and stay somewhere else.

This place was absolutely horrible. We checked in and we were grabbing our bags out of the truck. We walked in a side door and the lock was broken and the door was proped open allowing anyone to come in. We walked to our room and the hall way we our room was down the door locks looked like they had been kicked off or something bad had happened to them. We got in our room and our door wouldnt close/lock. None of the lights worked in the room and it was a super small area for 2 adults and a 6 month old. The front desk during check in time made it seem like i was interrupting something important and was very very snippy with me.

The bathroom was clean, however the sheets were dirty and had obviously not been changed. I asked for some fresh sheets from the laundry and the man at the front desk offered me another room. Not wanting the possibility of moving all our stuff to a new room and possibly having another problem with the new room, my wife and I stripped the bed and made it up with the new sheets. Our room was #207 which has an adjoining room door. Our neighbors were up partying until 1AM and it was like there wasn’t even a wall there. We wished we had taken a different room when offered earlier about the dirty sheets. We will not stay in this hotel again.

Bathtub, front of toilet not clean. Toothpaste in sink. Carpet stained. Top of hairdryer has old greasy gunk on it. I have photos of all of it. Shampoo bottle was half empty, used. Toilet seat moved side to side. Bottom of the inside bathroom door had about 3 inches of the laminate torn off. Dirtiest place we ever stayed.

Upon arrival, the bathroom was horrendous: dried pee stains covered the ruin of the toilet and a pubic hair visible, hair in the bathtub, either dried pee stains or cleaning chemical caked on bathroom floor, toilet seat about to fall off the toilet itself. The fridge was broken…didn’t cool and keep any of our items in the fridge cold at all. I adjusted the fridge temp and still warmer than the room temperatures.

When checking in there was only one gal there… the line was literally out the door to check in and it took way too long for everyone!!! Elevator was filthy!!! Bathroom dirty… Will not be staying there again.

1st room had a clogged sink full of water and chunks of hair so we requested different room. Front desk seemed irrigated but obliged. 2nd room was cleaner but the lights flickered and the walls were so thin we could hear the people in both rooms next to us when they talked. Didn't sleep much this trip. 8 stars in the app was very much deceiving.

Only issue was the internet access. Could not reliably connect to corporate or private VPN. The rest of the stay was good for the price. The room was good and was comfortable. The Hotel is aged and does need to be modernized as the shower head was very low and the bottom of the tub was u shaped and not flat. The AC, Microwave, Fridge, and TV worked. However reliable internet with VPN access was the only issue during my stay.

I'll say this about the Days Inn in Gillette, it wasn't much to write home about, but it was comfortable, clean and the staff was super friendly. For the price, it was a good spot for a short stay. The hotel could use an update. The furniture, carpet and bathroom were probably last updated in the early 2000s. Despite this, our room was in good condition, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean. I tend to measure the quality of a hotel room by the shower. Though it was an old showerhead, it worked great and I didn't have to spend 20 minutes rinsing the shampoo from my hair. We did have an issue with the hair dryer, which ended with a cloud of smoke and fear that the smoke alarm would go off. The maintenance person hunted down a new hair dryer, making sure it would work before arriving, and saved the day. They still provide tiny, tiny (and I mean TINY) bottles of toiletries, instead of using the larger pump bottles that are in many hotels now. If you are staying here for more than a couple of nights, make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Bern driving all night and just wanted to check in. It was 12:30, and just needed to sleep. They said I had to wait till 3, unless I paid a $49 early check in fee. I just left, and actually went to another hotel. Thanks Days Inn for helping out. I won’t be back!!!

When i arrived to check in, the desk clerk told me they didnt have a room and that the afternoon clerk had tried to call me. I booked my room at 10:14 PM and arrived at 11:30 PM. No one tried to call me in the afternoon. When i told her that, she shifted the issue to hotels.com and said they booked rooms that weren't available.
