Property is a little old but very conveniently located from Pitt and CMU. Room was ok but water leaked in the shower, only one of the 3 elevators worked throughout our stay. Had to wait long times just to get on and off the 9 th floor. Parking was $40 per night in their small lot which is absolutely ridiculous.

The hotel was under renovation and so the evaluation may not be completely fair. But many things were broken (only one of three elevators worked causing long delays) or unavailable such as the gym. There was only one receptionist and long lines. I wish we knew about the renovation before booking.

2 of the 3 elevators were inoperable and I got stuck on the only one that was still working. When we checked in, there were 15 people waiting and only one check in attendant. The pool was closed and the dining was only accessible by going outside in the rain. Not a good experience.

The hotel was centrally located, easy to get to, the parking garage is right across the front lobby driveway, and they serve Starbucks drinks on premise. The only negative thing is that the line to order food in the morning was super long. Otherwise it was a great stay, the hotel felt very new, clean, and safe!

I booked the hotel because the online site said it had a pool and a gym. About a week before my start, i called to ask about a fridge and microwave in my room. They told me the pool was down but there was still the gym. I got there, there was no microwave, both the gym and the pool was out, and the fridge was broken

Our stay was OK. This was the most I have ever spent on a room. While the room was nice, the toilet seat was broken and there appeared to be some mold in the shower. Also I may have missed it but I dont recall seeing anywhere that parking would cost $40( $29.99 to park plus $10 in parking taxes) It was ok but I would look for somewhere else to stay next time.

I had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect for me. Right by UPitt campus. The building and the room was nice and clean. You have to ask for a room with a nice view because some rooms look at the building right next to the hotel. The gym was very small. Everything else was great!

I liked my room a lot. It was nice to have a real bathroom (instead of the more modern distributed sink/shower/toilet that complicate things more than help them), a real tub, and a full curtain (instead of showering in a half open space). Also real chairs, desks, nightstands and lots of outlets. Staff was very courteous and friendly, even at 3am. One little inconvenience: I am a vegetarian, and I needed a bit of food late at night. There were no vegetarian sandwiches at all. There was one Hummus pretzels (yum) that I took. For the rest of my stay (3 days) this was not replaced so I wasn't able to snack again late at night. This is totally minor, but I hope hotels will remember that there are other vegetarians around too.

Hotel was new and nice. Air conditioning made a weird noise. Not many local coffee shops open in the summer. Super easy to walk to museums and restaurants. Very quiet area to stay. Felt very safe. Parking was easy but we were not given a good description of the parking options.

Was there to drop my oldest off for fresh year @ Pitt Incredibly convenient to campus - free parking garage was easy to navigate and spots were plentiful Room was ready early and was exactly as advertised The lady at front desk was on point. Friendly and efficient! Later on when we realized how limited and pricey the hotel breakfast options were, she was super helpful with finding a good breakfast diner nearby as well as several other suggestions that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit was a little loud, but that’s typical of those types of units. Will absolutely be staying here again!

The people in the room next to us were loud and we were only staying one night driving through. We asked the front desk attendant if they’d put us in a non adjoining room and they graciously gave us they only one left without hesitation. That customer service made all the difference. Would definitely stay here again.

I heard from the hotel earlier that there were two rooms had been booked under my name.I called Expedia to let them know this earlier today. They told me one of the rooms was canceled after talking into the hotel. However, when we checked in two rooms were still booked and I only needed one.

Check in was the longest I endured for a prepaid room. There was no coffee maker, it was soon delivered after I requested it. However, the person who brought it questioned my request for additional cups. Even though I told the front desk I paid additionally for breakfast with my reservation it took 15 minutes for them to identify that fact. The next day when I went to eat breakfast, I hadn’t received a coupon so I had to pay for it. Then I had to wait 30 minutes for the front desk to figure out how to credit the breakfast back to me because I ended up paying for it. I was happy to receive my money back. However, upon check out, they charged for breakfast for the two rooms that I reserved.

Hotel stay was decent. Staff eventually addressed the noise issue. No food/drink accommodations, available options were extremely expensive. Expedia was terrible. After driving 5hrs to get there, found out Expedia cancelled our reservation although we had confirmation. Thankfully the hotel was able to accommodate us and honored a comparable rate.

Being able to walk where we wanted to go. We were visiting our grandson at Pitt and he walked us around the campus. What I would like is for breakfast to be included in the stay, but the breakfast we had was good.

As a frequent traveler, this is the best Courtyard I have ever stayed at. The rooms are amazing and the staff is so nice, but the food was superb. I usually skip the hotel food, but I was lazy here and it was an excellent breakfast. I found out the chef was a chef at a local restaurant and the meals were frankly amazing. This is a jewel and I suggest staying here and eating here!

Everything was fine except the flyer that stated the weekend breakfast hours were to end at 11:00. They actually closed at 10:30 am. Also, the coffee service at the entrance to the Bistro were removed immediately after breakfast and not replaced. Most higher end hotels that I stay at leave a coffee service available most of the day.
