I may now give up on Holiday Inn Express. Every one I go to is under heavy renovations. That would be fine if it was run properly. We checked in early and the room was ready, but due to current renovations to the piping, the water was off in the whole hotel until 3 pm. We had to go to a nearby grocery store to go to the bathroom. Couldn’t really wash up from our trip until after 3. Checkin staff was good but night manager didn’t make coffee when it was needed so each day when I went down to get some, there wasn’t any. We always liked HIEx until they’ve been overhauling the management staff while renovating each hotel. New staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. Everything that used to be as it should be, is not. You have to ask for everything. Maid staff skipped our room so we had to go find one who could empty our trash can and give us towels. Looking for another chain to plan our stays from now on.

had a nice stay. Managers and chefs were amazing. Didn't have towels the 2nd day so had to go looking for them. Also the parking lights were blinking - very distracting.

The property was torn apart and this site was not updated to reflect the condition of the hotel. They could care less about the safely, dust and noise that the patrons encountered and when attempting to provide feedback to both Expedia and the hotel no one cared!

I checked in and went to the room. It wasn’t cleaned. They moved us to the 4th floor. The main light didn’t work. We went to leave and the elevator was out of order. It was repaired when we came back. We went to breakfast at 8:15 the next morning. No eggs, no cinnamon rolls, and NO coffee. We went to Panara’s instead. We would not stay there again.

The hotel was extremely clean and modern, the rooms amenities were wonderful: mini fridge/microwave, Keurig with several K-cups, Dove brand toiletries and full sized bottles in the shower, COLD air conditioning and HOT water, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer. The room was quiet, clean, and roomy! The property was extremely clean and there were several options for food/groceries a block away. Staff was very polite and helpful!

Checked in but never looked at the room. Got there after the family event at 11pm to find the room infested with lady bugs! Everywhere. Asked for a new room and it was granted. Walked into this room and it also had lady bugs in the bathroom and window ledge. However, the plaster ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and all over the floor. I decided to leave and just drive home, an hour away. Front desk staff were very embarrassed and accommodating however

The room was so humid that the carpet felt wet and sticky. We ran the air conditioner but it didn't help at all. We were there for two nights and by the end our clothes in our bags even felt damp. My shoes were damp. I put a melatonin gummy out and by the time I was ready to eat it, it was all wet and sticky. The shower head looked moldy but other than that the place was clean enough. They cleaned our room and replaced the towels in the morning but they didn't give us coffee for the next day. Our door rattled pretty hard every time someone else closed theirs and it woke my son up multiple times in the night. Overall, not a terrible stay not not super great either.

Room and hall ways smelt misty and damp. Our room had mold growing on the walls and smelt like mold. Very dirty and smelly. Staff was nice and helpful with anything you needed. As for breakfast, the pancake maker didn't cook the pancakes all the way, bacon was so over cooked it broke when you touched it, everything was cold, sausage felt like you were bitting into cardboard it was to rough and over cooked. Yogurt was expired, and hard boiled eggs must have say there for multiple breakfast and they wait for them to be gone before making new. We got home and I opened my suitcase and the clothes just stunk horrible like musty and moldy from our room. Never again will we be staying here.

This property was one of the worst I have stayed in. Stink bugs. Toilet that worked on and on. Flaking caulk everywhere in bathroom revealing black underneath (mold?) Unpainted plaster where places had been hit on walls. Glass like desk with water and dirt caked in.and more! Broken elevator (which did get fixed by evening)

My only complaint is the size of the room. There was only 3 of us and the room was so tiny. Everything else was wonderful. Check in/out was quick and easy and the breakfast was one of the best ive ever been to.

Near busy roads, but also made for convenient location. Desk staff was helpful, pleasant. Said would be getting a newly remodeled room. It was nice, but strong post-construction smell (maybe carpet, paint or new materials?). Not as noticeable after there awhile. Shower floor had some staining around drain.

Staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. Room had some cosmetic issues. Cabinet where refrigerator was, door hinge was broken and tricky to close. Pillows were very flat and need replaced. Also comforter on bed was coming apart internally. One tv didn’t have a cord to plug it in the wall. The other tv I had to “program” to get it to work. Room needed more outlets and/or usb ports. When I booked hotel on hotels.com, it listed laundry service as an amenity but none were available. We had to drive over 20 minutes away to do laundry.

We arrived 2 hours early and they wanted to charge us $50 to check in early, even though the room was ready. The room was $200 for the night and the wanted to charge 25% for two extra hours even though it was no extra work for them. In over 40 years of traveling I have never been charged for early check in!

It took me 20 mins to check in and the front desk lady was so rude. I will never come back. Me and my family drove for hours and just wantef to get some rest.we stood at that front dest for 20 mins and it was very cold. The front dest lady gave me an attitude after i asked if she has a bell for the desk to let her know when guest comes..

Room keys did not work and had to go back multiple times each day to get a new one. As a disabled person this made my trip significantly harder. Management acknowledged and apologized but I can not stay here again because of this.

We booked this hotel at midnight as an emergency. We drove an hour and a half to get there because the original hotel we were staying in was a nightmare. I want to say this hotel truly saved the day for us! The staff were nice, check in was easy , the hotel was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was not bad!!

Everything was fine until the next morning for breakfast when we didn’t get to eat because the food wasn’t ready at 8:15. We waited for nearly a half hour so at 8:40, we could not wait any longer because we had to be at Cabrini University graduation for 9:00. The service was very very slow.

First room given to us smelled real bad. Front desk person gladly switched us to number 310. Dresser in bedroom missing 3 of the 6 hardware pieces. Shower had very ugly spot in corner. Breakfast was the worst have ever had at a hotel, unworthy of Holiday Inn Expess. Tthet were out of eggs and when they finally came out the cook burned them. He should put in trash. . This property is antiquated and an embarrassment to the Holiday Inn Express name. We have stayed in a dozen of their hotels and they were relatively new. . It's a realeggsExpress.
