Came back from an event at 10:30 pm on a Friday night. Bar was closed. In the morning (Sat) they advertised a free breakfast. Just coffee and prepackaged nothing fresh. Disappointed.

Terrific location, easy parking, love the breakfast each morning and Tavern at the Inn is delicious. Wish the gym had more equipment and water fountains to refill water bottles, and wish recycling was an option.

Only downer was that I rented it because it had a restaurant. travelled 8 hours and did not want to travel to find a place to eat. The restaurant was closed. This is summer not winter an I won’t do it again.

I was excited to stay at this hotel based on it being rated 9/10 through Expedia but that was not my experience at all. The vending machines take cash only, no ability to use a debit card and as much as this hotel charges per night I would think they could update the vending machines. The ice machine on my floor was broken. The one thing I was looking forward to was eating in The Tavern inside the hotel but when I went down to eat dinner I was told they were only allowing people who had made a reservation to come in. That's something I would have expected to be told at check-in so I could have made a reservation at that time, but I was not informed of this. Ended up having to find a restaurant in Findlay which was not easy as the high school prom was going on this particular weekend. The next morning the continental breakfast was pretty basic. I chose to heat up a refrigerated sausage egg and cheese sandwich, took it up to my room and it had gotten cold on the way up so I went to reheat it in the microwave in my room, but the microwave did not work. Also the way the hotel is set up, all of the rooms surround a central atrium. There were people in The Atrium until almost midnight making a lot of noise which just echoed all around the hotel. Just a generally disappointing stay.

A very nice hotel. A unique set up. One downside was no phone in room to b able to call desk or room service. No where for an evening beverage or snack on site. No ice machine or vending machine. Very safe and quiet. Wi fi was very weak. But overall I would stay again .

The room was probably the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The chrome on the bathroom hardware was spotless. There wasn't a speck of dust i could find, I looked, because I couldn't believe it. The roman blinds kept the room nicely dark and looked very nice vs drapes or curtains that hold humidity and dust. Parking was convenient. Restaurant on site but we didn't use it because we visited family. There are places to eat within walking distance as well. There was no road noise but about 10 or so each night a train passed somewhere close enough to hear the horn but it passed quickly and was no bother. The continental breakfast is just that. It's adequate to grab a bite. A suggestion would be to add a small settee so there is somewhere to sit in the room besides on the bed. Small refrigerator that was adequate for us. I would stay again and recommend it if this fits your needs.

The complementary breakfast was definitely on the nicer end of hotel breakfast offerings. Additionally, you're a 5–10 walk from numerous restaurants, brewpubs, and bars. It's far enough away, though, that it was still very quiet at night. Downtown Findlay has been renovated in recent years and is much nicer than it was when I grew up there 20+ years ago. It might be a good place to visit if you're looking for a quaint urban experience.

Although we had stayed here before and enjoyed it this time was different. Our bed mattress washorrible..broken down and slanty. Also, breakfast included was a small room with food but nowhere to eat. Had to take to our room. Also faucets in our room were reversed from cold to hot. Backwards.

The hotel was almost empty but the put me in a room that had a street light outside my room. Even with the blinds closed the room was bright. There was no phone in the room. The wifi did not work in the room. The breakfast room was very small. My wife and I hardly fight together. I will not stay there again.

From the Reviews I was pretty skeptical. The Check In also had us worried, but once we entered the room it was very nice! The room was clean and well kept! The pictures makes it look run down and old. But everything in the room was perfectly up to date! The only issue was that on a 90F day the AC was completely OFF and it was 80F+ in the room. We arrived super late so unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool or anything. The continental breakfast was a typical Eggs, Sausage Gravy & Biscuits with your typical smaller sides (bagels, muffins ect). If we ever come down to Findlay again we would definitely recommend! ** Room 203**

It is an event center and they did have an event with music. The event had rights to loud music until 11:00 pm and that’s what they did. They seemed to respect the hours. So, if this could be a problem for you, you should check to see if an event will be happening as the rooms face the inside courtyard. Our air conditioning went out early morning but they took care of it promptly— breaker or something. It was comfortable and a good value compared to some of the surrounding hotels.

We had a room with a sofa bed. Unfortunately we could not use it because there was a piece of metal popping out. In the bathroom, there was a square panel under the sink exposing the pipes. These rooms need serious updating!

There was a grinding noise 24/7, as consistent as the tick tock of a clock, which made sleep difficult. Peanut butter and honey would be nice additions to the breakfast room.

Overall, an excellent stay. However, when we first arrived, they did not have our reservation on file from hotels.com and so they were going to charge us their regular cost and wouldn't work with us at first. They said their hotel website was functioning just fine so they weren't going to work with us, but then they honored our hotels.com cost. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean and we were happy with our stay. Clean Bedding and a Nice Restaurant with delicious food at the hotel.

Had an unusual situation of needing ice periodically for my wife's surgically repaired knee, and the ice machine was out on our floor. However, the gentleman at the front desk fetched ice for me whenever I needed it. Thank you Caleb!

This was an overnight for my wife and me. Check in was fast and the receptionist very friendly. Room was huge with comfy furniture and nice amenities. For sure, have dinner at the on-site restaurant, The Tavern at Findlay Inn. Even though they were extremely busy; they managed to get us in. The food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly. Definitely will be returning when in the area.

I was super upset when checking in. I gave them all my Travelocity paperwork to find Out I do not have a reservation. The gentleman working at the front desk was very helpful and found us a room for the night.

We stayed here after a concert at the Marathon Center, then went to a few downtown establishments for the night. Conveniently located and walked everywhere downtown. I would stay here again to do the same.

Very clean property, both rooms and common areas. Bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the wifi was very fast. My room had both a microwave and minifridge, which was nice. The complementary breakfast was definitely on the nicer end of hotel breakfast offerings. Additionally, you're a 5–10 walk from numerous restaurants, brewpubs, and bars. It's far enough away, though, that it was still very quiet at night. Downtown Findlay has been renovated in recent years and is much nicer than it was when I grew up there 20+ years ago. It might be a good place to visit if you're looking for a quaint urban experience.

Came back from an event at 10:30 pm on a Friday night. Bar was closed. In the morning (Sat) they advertised a free breakfast. Just coffee and prepackaged nothing fresh. Disappointed.

Liked that there was a restaurant/bar on site. Liked spacious room. Did not like that the ice machine was broken & the shower knob was broken.

As far as accusations in Findlay Ohio go. This is the best you can get. It’s consistently good. Clean. And central. Location here is definitely great and within downtown Findlay. Breakfast is better than most chain hotels especially on weekends I give this a 10/10. Have stayed multiple times plan to continue

This was an overnight for my wife and me. Check in was fast and the receptionist very friendly. Room was huge with comfy furniture and nice amenities. For sure, have dinner at the on-site restaurant, The Tavern at Findlay Inn. Even though they were extremely busy; they managed to get us in. The food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly. Definitely will be returning when in the area.

I was excited to stay at this hotel based on it being rated 9/10 through Expedia but that was not my experience at all. The vending machines take cash only, no ability to use a debit card and as much as this hotel charges per night I would think they could update the vending machines. The ice machine on my floor was broken. The one thing I was looking forward to was eating in The Tavern inside the hotel but when I went down to eat dinner I was told they were only allowing people who had made a reservation to come in. That's something I would have expected to be told at check-in so I could have made a reservation at that time, but I was not informed of this. Ended up having to find a restaurant in Findlay which was not easy as the high school prom was going on this particular weekend. The next morning the continental breakfast was pretty basic. I chose to heat up a refrigerated sausage egg and cheese sandwich, took it up to my room and it had gotten cold on the way up so I went to reheat it in the microwave in my room, but the microwave did not work. Also the way the hotel is set up, all of the rooms surround a central atrium. There were people in The Atrium until almost midnight making a lot of noise which just echoed all around the hotel. Just a generally disappointing stay.

Everything was up to par, maybe just up to par. I expected a little more as far as overall quality for the price but location made up for the compromise. Just a couple issues: The AC turned on and off all night, it was loud, like a heavy rain, waking me up every so often. The pillows were those firm foam and I just couldn't find the sweet spot with them. And the breakfast was just a little room with some bars, boiled eggs, yogurt and a few other things, Still. the location was the selling point!

The bathtub could have used a good scrubbing. The mattress needs to be replaced. Breakfast items could have been a better variety of things each day. Quiet area if your room is facing the inside. Easy parking. Within walking distance of restaurants and stores. Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Would be nice if the restaurant was open for breakfast and/or lunch.
