I choose this property because in the advertisement said that it has a pool, when I got there to my surprise there was no pool, very disappointed. Otherwise, very safe, plenty parking spaces, free breakfast, quiet peaceful place.

We loved our stay! It was only one night, but it was enough for us to rest. We were in a group of five and the room was comfortable, not to mention super clean and organized. Good breakfast and free parking, which was great. One negative point: If you need to contact the hotel, forget it! The phone number given is in Chicago and no one can give you any information about your reservation. The best way to contact the hotel is by e-mail.

They have an under cover car garage next door that connects via a covered walkway into the hotel. There is no pool but we did not care as we were out exploring the nearby attractions. The frint desk person Steve was fabulous. Keep him...he was so friendly and helpful.

Good location, easy access to bus 320 for NY or bus 85 for American Dream Mall. Great breakfast buffet in the morning and a functional gym onsite. There are restaurants within walking distance away.

The hotel is clean and quite. The staff is excellent and helpful. But the area is a bit rural. Nothing is really close by. The elevator is always busy. One big advantage is there is bus stop just outside the hotel if you want to go to NYC without driving,

Excellent location for visiting the city. The breakfast food was fantastic, but not convenient to get to and eat because there were so many people...the breakfast line was insanely long. The elevators were not working properly, either, which was inconvenient.

The staff was friendly. Parking out front is limited but they do have a connecting garage. Breakfast was gross. Watery eggs. Our room was not cleaned well. Dirty floors dirty microwave, hair and stains on the sheets in one of the beds, dust bunnies all behind the pull out sofa couch. Housekeeping came in to “clean our room” while we were out but only made the beds and provided new towels/rags, floors and microwave still dirty. The extra blankets for the sofa bed were old looking & yellow tinged in color. For the amount of money I paid to stay here I don’t think it’s worth it. No pool either.

This is our second stay at Hyatt Place Secaucus. Good value and easy transportation into Manhatten. Staff are great we reported that TV was not working and was fixed quickly. Our room was not as clean this time, floors by the walls need more attention, a few hairs in shower and soaps not full. The vent above the toilet was full of dust. Coffee mugs not clean. Room 302. Overall the hotel was okay this time just think cleaning has slipped a bit.

Great location, close drive to MetLife Stadium. Room had disgusting hairs on the floor in the main part of the room, and long strands in the shower, my 12 year old noticed it first and was disgusted, as was the rest of my family. Made me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned.

We found a cockroach in our room. I went down to reception . They told us they would do a deap clean in the room . Wasn't done right , still had dust exactly where it was before deep clean. They told us they would transfert us to another room, but we lost confidence in them, we decided to stay in that room because at the end , when we got back home we left everything outside to shake off anything that would of hidden in the bags. I ask for a discount for desagrement but hostess told me that because I booked with Expedia, they coudn't do anything . Very disapointed of the end result . Is there anything you guys can do?

There was only 2 lights worked in our room. Water was dripping in the front. Found someone’s underwear and a hat left in a conner. It’s ridiculous!!!

Family of 6 had an awesome 2 night stay. This place is recently renovated. We got the connected rooms and had great privacy. Minor thing, I wish we had microwave in the room. But there is a common microwave at the breakfast area.

Check in was good. The front desk associate was great and very friendly. We had to park in the parking garage next door that conveniently has a tunnel to the hotel. The room was clean and newly renovated but the door had a large gap under it allowing all the hallway noise to come through. The bathroom was awful. It was old, walls were cracked and looking like they would cave in soon, and the shower was gross and needed regrouped. They missed the bathroom when they redid the room. There was even rust on the fixtures like the towel hanger on the back of the door. We made it through the night being awakened frequently by loud voices. The air conditioner sounded like a plane about to take off. It was clean so the staff does their job. It’s the chain needing to shell out money to fix things.

Hotel was good. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean. Shower pressure was ok. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was good. Only negative for me was they advertise being able to stream but the tv in the room does not allow for it. Not a deal breaker but it wouldve been nice to binge watch some shows between concerts.

The hotel was fine for a short stay, but there were a few issues that impacted our comfort. We booked a King room with a pullout sofa, which may have been a misstep on our part—the pullout was extremely small and in poor condition. The shower had very low water pressure, and the bathroom door automatically locked when closed, which became a problem at 1am when our 9-year-old couldn’t get in. On the plus side, the air conditioning was strong (though quite loud), and there were plenty of outlets throughout the room—a definite convenience. The lighting was decent, and the room itself was spacious enough that we didn’t feel cramped.

Last leg of our trip, 2 night stay, front desk and/or bar understaffed, though customer service was great, breakfast bar had a variety. Convenient to NY, but likely wouldn't stay again, due to the room layout not making much sense, as far as kid friendly, separate areas divided by a partial wall, so we had to hear and see the tv all night, not exactly what I like.

Even though the hotel was under construction, it was very welcoming. The staff on the other hand was absolutely exceptional. They cater to every need that we had. We come to this area every time once a year and this is our first time staying here and we will definitely be back to stay here again.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in New Jersey, this place is definitely the place to stay! Stephen, Jeremy, Shane, and the two ladies in the morning are the reasons I plan to be coming back. They were all extremely helpful in any recommendations or advice I asked for. Very professional, very friendly, and made this place a safe place for someone like me who was traveling solo. Thank you guys for making me feel safe and comfortable while staying here at Hyatt.

Booked a room for a concert during a holiday weekend. Despite getting confirmation that my room was ready, I arrived soon after check-in time to be told my room wasn’t going to be ready for at least 1.5 hrs. My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt the room was so roomi and very clean beds where so comfortable the staff was very attentive. The location was very safe and very nice neighborhood the bus stop is right outside which we took advantage and use it to go to back and forth to New York bus 320 will take you and bring you back

Absolutely loved this hotel. It’s located across the street from the bus, which made for an easier and more affordable option to the city. About $19 round trip from behind the hotel to the NJ Port Authority Bus Station, which is close to Times Square. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Very good views of the city as well. Staff was friendly and kind. Would definitely book this hotel again.

We stayed here for two nights wanting to travel into New York City. The Desk staff were very helpful about using the busses and provided a copy of the schedule and detailed instructions. It was easy to get there. The room was very comfortable and I would stay there again. The reason for the one less star has to do with the food service. They claim to have a restaurant, but the desk staff did all the jobs, from making the food and drinks to serving it. I'm not sure who ordered the food, but they were out of many things listed on the menu. It was not edible when served and we went out to another place. Breakfast, on the other hand, was fine. There was a specific staff for that.

Everything thing was good and clean. The only down fall was the juice and coffee during breakfast was water down. Also The room should at least have water in the refrigerator for the amount they charged.
