Harmony Suites Secaucus Meadowlands

I thought the hotel room itself was wonderful and it was great having two king beds in their own separate areas. The hotel could definitely use some updating in terms of dated decor but overall it was comfy and clean. I was only staying for one night so I didn’t need to have anything super fancy for such a short time period. It was in a great location and had a bunch of different options for dining within walking distance. I also really appreciated that they offer a shuttle service to and from Met Life Stadium for events. It was an extra fee but so much easier than driving and dealing with parking myself.

Exceeded our expectations. Large rooms, updated, clean and fresh, this hotel is our new goto when visiting nearby NYC. The hotel itself is great, with free parking and breakfast bar. We also like that bus route 320 is right outside and gives you a quick trio over to NYC. Super convenient. Lastly, Ill point out that the staff at this hotel were constantly cleaning, so it never had time to get messy. There isn't daily room service, so if you need towels, just ask and they will bring them to you.

I stayed here with my family of 4. I have 2 young children. This hotel was very family friendly. I liked that the swimming pool area had different options of life jackets as I forgot to bring my own for my kids. Their breakfast buffet was better than I expected compared to other breakfast buffets I've been to. Lots of options. Our room was very clean. I will definitely book again when I come back to New Jersey.

The hotel was beautiful and clean as a whistle all parts of it. The Bar is very small and only opens at 7:00 pm. I sat there both nights and had a blast with. The bartende. I forgot his name but he was an absolute delight and made my stay very enjoyable .The hotel staff was wonderful! I will be coming back . This hotel is a hidden gem for me.! When you walk into the place you feel harmonized and happy . So serene. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Harmony Suites.

Very clean, lots of staff, top notch. Free parking in garage that is just 50 feet from entrance. Many restaurants and stores just a few mins. away. Do not hesitate to book here!

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Room was large and had two tvs and a couch that folds out to a bed. The only thing we disliked was the free breakfast, not only was the food bland but the milk was starting to sour and when I took a bite of the omelette that the employee at the omelette station made I pulled a long black hair out of my mouth. The lady who made it was not wearing a hair net. We ended up skipping breakfast for the rest of our stay due to that. That being said, we would definitely return if in the area again, we just wouldn't eat breakfast there. Room had a fridge and microwave as well. The 320 bus stops right across the street and is an easy and convenient way to access NYC. The parking deck was convenient and free as well and felt very safe.

Parking was convenient, the staff was very friendly and someone was constantly cleaning. The hotel is older but very well maintained. If in the area we would definitely stay there again.

Staff very courteous and helpful. Great breakfast with custom omelette station. Bus to NYC very easy and convenient, about $10 round trip per person to Port Authority and ran about every 15-20 minutes. Rooms were clean and extremely spacious.

This hotel is extremely run down. Had to change rooms, first one smelled like mold. Second room, smelled like vomit. Let me save you the headache, stay elsewhere. I was definitely fooled by the reviews, they cannot possibly be of this hotel. On a positive note, staff were great.

It's pretty old and shabby. Not very clean: very dirty windows, toothpaste marks in the bathroom, someone's trash in one on the trash cans... Smells weed from ventilation, the water in the pool muddy. The breakfast very poor. But the hotel has convenient 2 king size beds rooms.

Very clean and spacious

The pillow and the sheet had blood stains on them I called them they send me new one and I asked to move me to another room they did not do that

The room had a lingering odor or smell. The tub did not drain quickly while using the shower (water rose to ankles).

Parking was convenient, the staff was very friendly and someone was constantly cleaning. The hotel is older but very well maintained. If in the area we would definitely stay there again.

You can that the hotel is old because of the smell. The pool looks dirty as the color is green. We checked the next day and still the same color. The room towels smells like burn. Thankful that we stay only one night.

The staff was excellent and the bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrible. The eggs tasted gritty, the yogurt was warm, and the bacon was under cooked. The room wasn’t as advertised it said two rooms with two king beds and a sofa bed but the sofa bed was in the room with one of the king beds so there was no way to open the sofa bed. When I booked a two room suite I was expecting two bedrooms and a room with the tv and sofa to sit on and pull out bed if necessary but that is not what it was.

Great location. Needs some updating. Queen beds are actually double beds. Staff are not in a rush.

The location is magnificent. The bus 320 to go to New York is just across the road and there’s lots of dining options movie theaters, and shopping. You’ll find Sam’s Club Walmart superstore shake shack., the third places Chili’s Japanese food in a cup of bars. The mattress, the sheets and the towels had seen better days. The carpet was dated, but the rest of the hotel looked good. The free breakfast every morning was standard

The rooms are nice and spacious, I love the separate “living room” area with the couch. It’s not common to have this much space in a hotel room like this. The room was clean but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Staff was nice and efficient.

The rooms are spacious with great amenities like a fridge and microwave and very clean. Due to the layout of the motel it is noisier than others properties since all rooms face the open atrium. If there are groups of people in the atrium the noise will echo throughout. The complementary breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen with numerous options to choose from. Overall a great value for the price and we will definitely stay again on our next visit.

The breakfast was good, but the line was too long to wait for any type of egg dish. Pre made scrambled eggs would have been a nice addition to the hot menu items next to the sausage and bacon. I would have liked to have seen less plastic used, but was happy to see paper plates as opposed to styrofoam like most hotels use. The room was super comfortable and spacious, although the shower never really got hot enough to be comfortable. The bathroom sink had nice hot water, but the shower didn’t. The girl at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting public transportation instead of an uber/lyft to get to Lincoln center. We had dinner reservations and opera tickets so we didn’t want to drive into New York City. Overall, we really enjoyed our brief stay!

Place was great- only issue is that the HVAC vents are right outside the bedroom and every time it turned on there was this loud noise made it hard to not get disturbed. For Light sleepers that would be a nightmare.

Staff seemed pleasant and professional. Attending an event at the Meadowlands Expo Center next door was very convenient. The 'Open Concept' of the center of the hotel initially seems fantastic; however, staying there during an event you realize that you hear every door close and conversations - and especially the bar. As mentioned by another reviewer, the double king rooms appear to have been converted from suites with the second king bed right at the door as you enter the room. Gives a motel feeling.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Harmony Suites. Our room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. The breakfast each day had a wide variety of foods. The front desk staff were very helpful when we were trying to figure out public transportation (bus stop is right across the street). I would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

Have not received the security deposit back yet! Has been almost 2 weeks since we checked out.

Hi, I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with my stay at Harmony Suites. I called the front desk 3 times and went down there 4 times between 5 PM and 10 PM, trying to get a clear answer and a solution about the A/C in my room. Two of those visits are recorded on video because the situation was that ridiculous. Every time, I was given a different excuse—first it was the whole hotel, then it was “should be working in an hour,” then it went down again, then suddenly it was only my room. Nobody seemed to know what was actually going on, and nobody treated the situation with urgency. I waited over 4 hours for maintenance after being told they were coming in 5 or 20 minutes. When someone finally showed up, the only thing they brought was a tiny fan—not even the industrial one I specifically asked for. It didn’t help at all. My girlfriend and I spent the night sweating in a hot, muggy room. We barely slept. It was easily one of the worst hotel nights I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone. This was a total failure in communication, customer service, and basic comfort. I’m asking for compensation at the very least, a refund. This should not be brushed off. (I tried to send the videos but it says it is too large for the email. If there is another way to send please let me know.)

The Staff Was Very Rude Including The Head Manager….That She Called Herself!!!! Her Name Was Eumi or Something!!!! I Constantly Asked Her To Speak To Someone Higher Than Her Like The CEO or Owner…. She Refused To Give Me A Name or Number!!!! She Then Replied That She Owned The Hotel and Got Mad Asking Me and My Family To Leave Her Hotel!!!! Even Though We Had Already Had A Paid Stay and Reservation!!!!! I Was Very Disappointed and Upset…. “I Will NEVER STAY AT HARMONY SUITES IN SECAUCUS AGAIN” and Will Never Recommend Any Of My Family,Friends or Business Colleagues To Stay There!!!! They Even Rushed Everyone Out After Breakfast At 11a.m Leaving Nowhere For You To Sit or Do Any Work Accept In Your Room or This Small Business Area That They Had…..

The workers make you feel like you are being watched all of the time especially at breakfast time. The manager is very rude, disrespectful and narcissistic. She doesn’t want people to talk back or express their opinion, if you do she cancels your stay. She watches everything and every movement. Not friendly or inviting. Even has a problem if you ask for extra blankets, counts towels, toilet tissue, etc. I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN !!!

Had issues with confirming stay leading up to stay that carried over to day of my arrival. Front desk insisted that despite my efforts working with customer service with hotels.com they did not have my reservation. Also hotel did not tell me about additional fee of $150 hold on my credit card would be required despite the inconvenience

Excellent breakfast - easy to go by bus to New York city (Bus Terminal Authority - downtown) by taking the bus no 320 in front of the hotel. To come back at the hotel, you take the same bus 320 (zone 3) at the Bus Terminal Authority gate 314

Second time staying here and it was once again great. Convenient to the city...just a short bus ride to Port Authority and then a train ride to Yankee Stadium. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel close by everything. Rooms a bit dated, free breakfast was a plus. Nearby lots if eateries (chilis, outback, panera, starbucks). Also close by American Dream Mall and NYC. Bus stop right accross the street. Wal-mart, sams club, shops behind hotel. Aquariam right next door. Great place for families.

Perfect for long weekends/vacations! The room I stayed in was very spacious. The staff were very kind and professional. Breakfast was great, although no changes in the menu each day.

Front desk staff friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was subpar. Quality of products was poor. Had an omelette that I was unable to eat. Oatmeal was watery. Coffee was VERY weak. Would stay at hotel again but would not get their breakfast.

Very clean. Breakfast was fabulous! Staff was very kind and friendly.

Breakfast was horrible. Eggs tasted weird and bacon and sausage wasn’t cooked all the way. Juice choices tasted very watered down. Housekeeping also pushed nightstand into my MacBook adapter charger that was plugged into the wall, bending the metal prongs and then refused to replace the adapter.
