Extended Stay America Suites - Omaha - West

I chose this hotel for the kitchenette and gym. But i was not expecting all that was wrong. 1st, when we entered the room i inspected as usual. Bedding was the cleanest part of room. Found hair in tub( not thay big of a deal) the sink in kitchen was still dirty as were the counters. Also on the walm there was a large line of something stuck to the wall. And the remmote for tv didnt work. Fine i can clean up some things. Usually the kitchens are equipped with all dishes you need. Now i understand theynhave u go down to lobby now and check items out but geeze could have been told that by staff. Nope had to wait until we saw a hidden card in Kitchen. Whatever it all worded out. I go down the next morning to use the gym- notjing worked. The bike the elliptical and the treadmill were all broken. So whats the point of advertising a broken gym? Nothing was corrected either. I would not reccomend staying here until things are fixed.

The room was very nice. Window was to the outside grass and parking lot. The booking says coffee and tea in the common area. I went to the desk and asked where the coffee was and she said right here at 6 in the morning. I said online....she said no. No in room coffee or cups, nothing. Large room with Kitchen area but nothing to make anything with. Stripped down. Quiet but nothing to do.

So to start i was under a stair well, AND the people in the room above me were stomping around LOUDLY until after 1 am every single night. The grill they are supposed to have on site weren't out i guess? And no one was going to bring them out. EVERY dryer was out of order but the washers weren't which me and multiple other guests made the mistake of washing our clothes and there not being a dryer. The front desk lady not sure which one it was has an attitude for no reason. The knobs on the oven don't have marks on them so you just have to guess what temp your setting the oven and stove top too. The only good thing about this property is that its about a 20 minute walk to the mall or to other stores in the town.

When I got there, I had to wait 45 minutes in the lobby for somebody to answer the front desk. So I could Check-in? Can I go to the room? I got a sweet and the full out. Couch is broken where you couldn't even sit on it. And they wouldn't do nothing about it and I had no utensils. No plates, no. Nothing in the room and um. The bed was hard as hell. It wasn't very clean. It smoked like cigarette smoke and it wasn't nowhere near an elevator cause i'm disabled.

Nice area. Outdated facilities. But overall it wasn’t bad

Someone fell asleep cooking causing everyone to have to leave out in the middle of the night. Done if the washer and dryers are broken. Microwave rusting out, refrigerator was dirty there was still a garbage can with rotten food in it, the first room they sent me to, and the ruined smelled of it.

Was asked repeatedly by staff about what room I was going to. I had people pounding on my door for no reason, weird hand prints on the door that seemed like someone was looking through my peephole. The appliances were very dated and the Tv was microscopic for a suite that big. Granted, it wa only fifty bucks a night so I had low expectations so I guess worth the price? Oh, bring your own ice- they don’t have an ice machine.

Staff was always friendly and responsive. Hotel was fairly priced, given all factors. Pros: a)Staff friendly, helpful, and responsive. b)Vending machines well stocked. c)Bed comfortable. d)Parking generally available and close to the main entrance. e)Fairly priced (was a bargain). Cons: a)Room generally not well-cleaned, especially stove and kitchen area. b)Bad smell in room (lobby smelled good, room did not). c)Refrigerator extremely noisy, had to be turned off to sleep, which made the refrigerator effectively unusable. d)No dryers in laundry area (all had the doors removed--did some previous customer vandalize them and repairs were underway?)

Parking is limited. People not pick up their dog poop. Not enough lighting around parking lot near back of hotel.

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay. The condition of the room did not meet even basic cleanliness standards—the floors were so dirty that my socks turned black from simply walking around. The kitchen appliances appeared extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The hot plate on the stove had visible oil spills, which emitted a very unpleasant odor when used. Additionally, there was no dishwashing liquid provided, and we were surprised to find that basic complementary items like sugar, coffee, tea, or salt were missing. The bathroom was equally unsatisfactory. There was no hair dryer, the sinkhole valve was missing, and the bathtub was in terrible condition with a severely blocked drain—it took nearly an hour for water to fully drain after use. The only redeeming aspects were the clean bed linens and towels. Unfortunately, the overall experience was so poor that we had to cut our stay short and checked out after the second night, even though we had booked for three nights. We brought all of these concerns to the attention of the reception staff, but were informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternate rooms were available. My wife and children were understandably very upset with the experience. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the condition and amenities of the rooms for future guests. Overall it was TERRIBLE, i request a refund on this.!

Place was dirty and smelt so bad when you first walked in and then when you walked in the hallways. They shower was dirty and sounded like you were going to fall through the floor they didn’t have any trash cans in the room

Assistant manager Robbie and Manager Jamie were completely disrespectful. COCKROACHES, BLOOD stains, and abnormal stains were in our room !!! We went to complain after noticing these things the third night. All they offered was another room! They did NOT refund the nights we did NOT stay there and much less a compensation for the problem. I told them that I could report them to the health department and they banned me for telling them I was going report them to the health department. They said that was a threat !?! If your hotel is nice and clean like you say what’s the problem ?!

Checking in was easy and staff were great at explaining the rules. The hotel and room were very clean. The bed, however, was hard as a rock and it was difficult for me to sleep.. but some people prefer a more firm mattress... Also weird that they charge you 50.00 if you dont take your own trash out...even for a 1 night stay.

Room was not clean. Crumbs on counter. Drink rings on nightstand. Hair in tub.

I like the size of my room. It was big enough for us to have guest over. I didnt like the fact that it smelt so bad in our room and the hallway smelt like cigarettes and weed. And the back door never shut so the safety of the guestwas always in question. Our carpet in our room was dirty and we found bags of trash under our bed and chips smashed under one of the beds. Great location but good use some serious updated and the floor was coming up in the bathroom and kitchen. Only positive was the staff was very friendly.

The television in the room worked, but the picture was very dark. I asked to switch rooms just a few minutes after checking in, but was not permitted to change rooms. There were no hangers in the room, it was dirty, and I saw several bugs in the room. The toilet seat was up and had what looked like urine on the seat. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience

It was not very clean

Lots of room for 3 travelers. Comfortable and relaxing.

Overall great, but a Wi-Fi paywall in 2024 (and in California of all states) is rather annoying.

Room was comfortable and convenient for getting around Omaha. The only negative was that there were no plug-ins to charge cell phones in the room.

The place was good. The room i was in already had things wrong with it and i documented just in case. The wifi needs to be better. High speed would be great. The hotel was good.

Badly needs updating.

The room next to me was very loud all throughout the night. I got minimal sleep. It would’ve been nice if they could have been quiet at 10 PM until 7 AM. Instead they knocked on the wall most of the night and their kids were loud.

Horrible! Will never stay there again. Couldn't check me in because Expedia showed 2 people instead of just me. Had to call Expedia to change it. Came back 2 hours later. Now they couldn't process my reservation. Made another reservation at another hotel. Ten minutes to drive there 2 minutes to check in. Shouldn't be that hard. Incompetent.

The front desk, assistant manager, was so rude. I had accidentally forgot to change my occupancy on my reservation from the default of 2 to 1 and she would not assist me in checking in because of this. I advised her that i was here for business and there was no one staying with me. She laughed and said "Well thats too bad for you" and referred me to customer service for Hotels.com. when i was able to get a hold of someone...she was calling someone on her phone and making negative comments, so I canceled and stayed at a different hotel.

The person at the front desk gave some lady that knew my name and room number a room key!

On the day of check in I had called this hotel to let them know we would be arriving later than check-in time. The front desk worker told me this was fine and would still be expecting us. When we get there, get checked in and get up to our room we noticed that the couch wasn’t a sofa bed. We had 6 people who needed beds and the room only had 2 beds. We reserved a room with 2 beds plus a sofa bed. When I went down to the front desk to the issue resolved the lady at the front desk said that she didn’t even know why the listing was on Expedia because they don’t even have that configuration. Then proceeded to tell me that the room I was supposed to have was put under maintenance that morning (which she said nothing of earlier when I called) and so they “upgraded” me to the manager’s suite. Which had only 2 beds and no sofa bed. I asked how that was an “upgrade” and she said “because it has a walk in closet and more floor space.” I told her that I have 6 people who need beds not a walk in closet, so I need a room with a sofa bed. She just kept pushing the fact that my room was “upgraded.” When I asked for roll away beds and extra bedding to make pallets (on the dirty floors) she told me that they don’t have those things. So I then asked what my options were. She said since I needed a sofa bed then I could either be moved to a room with 1 regular bed and 1 sofa bed or I could just leave the hotel altogether. She gave us a list of other hotels which were unhelpful in getting us the

My favorite place to stay for extended periods. It is clean. The staff is amazing. Overall, not all at once, within the last year I have at stayed at this hotel about four months total throughout the year. They've never had an issue if I did. Management and front desk took care of it. If it was a maintenance issue, it was taken care of immediately.

The staff at the Ohama West Extended Stay America are an amazing group to get to work with as I travel for work. This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in the area. Really top-drawer management. In all my travels it doesn't get much better than this!

The clerk was not friendly at all

The manager Ronnie made our check in absolutely awful, she was INCREDIBLY unprofessional and rude. My partner couldn’t find his ID and refused to check us in after we had traveled in from California. I’ve never heard of that, my name was on the reservation and I was paying. We finally found his ID and came back in her shift ended while I was trying to check in and the new person on shift checked us in while doing so she called TWICE and slandered us, he even told us it was her talking rudely. The next day she came to our room and told us we had too many dogs one of which is a service animal and kicked us out then proceeded to lock us out of our room with our dogs in there after we took stuff down to our car. They didn’t even ask how many dogs we had to my knowledge all I knew was dogs are allowed, it should’ve been on their part to ask how many pets we had she charged me 200 bucks for EACH ANIMAL. She just wanted to harass us because as soon as she was back on shift she came STRAIGHT to our room and BANGED on the door. Do NOT stay here. The rooms are dirty and the guests they allow are questionable people. Save your money and time.

Safe, relatively quiet. Seems pretty clean . A little expensive. I still would like to know about a monthly rate , whether there is a good discount deal .

Old very old, bathroom sink didn’t even have the plug. Room had a musty smell. Breakfast was pathetic

My experience was very good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a full kitchen if you wanted to use it. The tv remote batteries were dead, but a replacement was sent up promptly. More than worth giving up in room coffee maker, hairdryer for savings. Breakfast was coffee, oatmeal, granola barres. Enough for me to get started. There is grocery store near if you want to bring in your own food. I would stay at this hotel again.

So nice to be able to cook on a stove instead of relying on microwaves! Very comfortable and clean. I've stayed at Extened Stay America properties elsewhere, but this was my first opportunity to stay here in my many regular business trips to Omaha.

Property was clean, affordable with Kitchen. Do need to bring own silverware,dishes andcooking supplies. Very qiuet and parking was easy. Front desk friendly

This is a very dated place. The breakfast is not a breakfast. The floors make so much noise. You could hear people next to you talking and those above you walking. So noisy. The staff was not friendly. It was as if we were bothering them when checking in.
