Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport

After a 24 hour delay on our European flight, it was great to have a place to stay with airport shuttle. The local train service had a stop within walking distance that allowed us to have a day trip into Philadelphia and then to the airport for our evening flight

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The free shuttle to the airport and free breakfast and overall price were all big positives, as was being able to leave our car there for a reasonable price while out of town. The rooms need updating. Lots of stains on the carpets and in the shower areas. They are renovating, so I would recommend this place for overall value.

Great place to stay if flying out next morning. Shuttle was great - driver is super friendly and loves his job! Got me to the airport quickly. Cheapest place anywhere to leave your car while away! First time going here and will definitely go again!!!

Staff were very pleasant. But floor was under major renovation and the cold water main was off so only had hot water. Couldn’t shower—too hot. Toilet didn’t fill so had to use ice bucket to fill tank to flush. I was allowed to shower in a different room on same floor.

The property was going through some renovations and it was a lot of dust everywhere and smell of paint.

Stale bagels and muffins for breakfast, not continental like they advertise. Also, the shuttle bus broke down and they had no back up shuttle or van. Instead, the driver used his personal vehicle (small Corolla) to transport people to the airport.

Clean rooms, small amenities. Only issue was that most of the hotel is being remodeled and it looks kind of ghetto. But other than that, all was great

Gentleman at front desk was unwelcoming and a little rude. Room smelled musty and the bathroom was not entirely clean. Shuttle to the airport was convenient, but upon my return, I could not get in contact with anyone to get picked up. Both the extension for the shuttle and the front desk just kept ringing.

Bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the tub, and a layer of dust/dirt behind the bathroom door. There was also dust and dirt around the tub/toilet. Visible signs of mold around frame of the door. And sink area showed signs of grime. There were also mold/water stains on the ceiling of the room.

I could overlook the fact that the hotel was rundown, but it was very dirty, as well. The cleaning crew left many surfaces unwiped. There was debris around the sink, The shower was stained. There was shcmutz on the wall. The room had a damp musty odor. I will say that the staff was a positive - very friendly and helpful.

Sheets were not changed. Stained sheets. Beds made daily but no sheet change. Stains and damages throughout the room. Carpet needs to be replaced. Whole bunch of money there things.

Run down, filthy property. Had an awful odor, the floor we stayed on was partially under construction with Sheetrock dust and construction materials in the hallways. The whole place was just really filthy and run down.

The hotel was dirty. My bed was full of little hairs. They didn’t even change the sheets. After I asked for new sheets for this reason l, the person didn’t even acknowledge the fact that it wasn’t changed or cleaned properly. This hotel is disgusting and dirty. No starts at all.

You get what you pay for. It’s a cheap hotel. The room was dirty, there was hair all over, pretty sure there’s black mold in the bathroom, cobwebs on the ceiling and stains on the floor. Will not be staying here again.

Was assigned a room on the 3rd floor. It was smelly, restroom not clean (hair found behind door). Room was not cleaned. Breakfast not available (no cheese, no yogurt, no eggs, no milk, no cereal, ) only coffee and non fresh bagels. A customer approached the manager to complain about no breakfast and was rudely told that breakfast is complementary.

This place is dirty and run down. The rooms need to be deep cleaned! the shower was gross and the water took forever to go down. It smelled so gross in the room and the hallway. I only had to stay here for a couple hours to be close to the airport, but never again!

There needs to be some cleaning, carpets were filthy in the hallway and stairwells. Bathroom fixtures were loose, stains on the bathroom ceiling, mold on the caulking, sink drains slow. I get it, it's a low price hotel, but if Wynndam is going to put their name on it, someone from corporate should take a tour, they won't be impressed.

Room was not clean. Hair in the tub. Hair on tv stand fake hair When you close bathroom door a pile of treat behind. Found 2 quarters under the bathroom sink which mean no one sweat or mopped the floor.

Rooms too small, bedding doesn’t keep you warm, and they close breakfast at 9pm

It was fine for a quick overnight after a late flight. It was nothing great just an average place. The room had one wall that was floor to ceiling mirrors 😳, the carpet is very dark and aged and the fixtures are right from the 90s.

The room looked old. Our room was by the lobby so it was noisy. It was also on the 1st floor and you colud hear the people walking around on the 2nd floor at 3am. For an inexpensive room staying over night it was ok. Would be nice if they had coffee or tea available after hours.

My stay was fine. The hotel is old and dated but sufficient for my one night stay. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not comfortable at all. The bathroom definitely needs updating.

The service was good and the room was clean only thing around:00 in the morning people coming in could hear them through the walls arguing till about 1:00 something and I decided to leave and go to my sisters in the Northeast Philadelphia I can hear them walking and arguing and other rooms

No wifi and I missed an important meeting!!! No amenities, very cheap and pillows were flat.

Stayed here knowing it was not as nice as some other hotel chains. Pros: close to bus routes, interstate, and airport; beds were very comfortable; shower pressure was good; AC worked well (we keep on to drown out noises); parking was free Cons: dated room-smelled old/musty; bathroom was small and had cracks in toilet, floor tile and countertop; breakfast was meh

Amazing staff at the desk. Easy and convenient to get in and out. Standard breakfast.

Got there and there was many people waiting to be checked in. Front desk staff was no where to be found was waiting about 25-30 mins before front desk staff came. Nobody knew what was going on. I would have left and found another hotel if I didn’t already pay to stay here. Front desk staff didn’t even apologize or offer for money to be taking off for the long wait everyone had. Front desk guy was rude. Tub in room wasn’t clean. Room size could have been bigger for the price I paid Wasn’t pleased with this stay at all compared to other Microtel hotels I been too this one is the worst. I won’t be returning.

Never have I ever wanted to give a hotel a zero star rating before. The hotel itself wasn't bad. Needs some updating and the beds were comfortable. Asked for connecting rooms on my request and guy Friday made it seem like he was givng us connecting rooms. Only to find out he put us side by side. Told us later that we had to reserve a certain type of room for adjoining rooms. We would have paid the extra for those rooms had he told us in the beginning when asked. What makes me want to give this hotel a zero star was the night employee Rosnik(sp???). How are you racist and an immigrant to this country? Came in Friday to what appeared to be a disagreement between him and young black lady. He was telling her that he couldn't give her a key to a room that her man booked because it was in his name even though her name was on it too. Long story short, she leaves out, there were 4 young black men waiting to check in. Rosnik goes off yelling telling the young lady not to come back in the hotel a few times. Then proceeds to yell that he's not helping anymore black people that night while these 4 young men are still waiting to check in. As my group is walking to the elevator, we can still hear him fussing "that's what's wrong with America, black people" and "I'm not helping "them" people". This distrubed my soul hearing him say stuff like this. He didn't care who was around or anything. I couldn't wait to get home to write this review.

Why do hotels keep their rooms at 63 degrees? It was 39 degrees outside in Philadelphia and 63 in the room. Took me an hour to get the room warm. The line to check in was out the door. The man at the front desk put his jacket on and left the desk for about 10 minutes, which kept everyone waiting to check in. The shuttle ride to the airport the next morning was on time and the gentleman was very cordial.

Stayed there after a concert. Front desk people were kinda rude. Hotel outdated and smells. Carpet in the room wasn't vacuumed and dirty. Pre check in didn't accomplish anything.

Customer service was very poor was in a room and customer service gave someone else a key to my room also Tv was not working and I reported it all I was told was ok

Excellent location.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Kept me in the same room thru 3 separate bookings. Breakfast was great for a continental. Very close to the airport. 7 minutes from Lincoln Financial, Wells Fargo and Citizens Bank Field. Remote area with just Airport Hotels. Only Ruby Tuesdays is close. Easy access to I95

Stayed here while traveling thru Philadelphia Airport, great stay for the price. Clean, safe.. would definitely recommend for anyone traveling.. free parking night of stay, then $10 @ day to leave there while we traveled.

If you’re in town for the night this place will serve its purpose. Not too far from the sports complex if you’re going to Philly to catch a game and need a place to stay for the night.

Hotel property is quite attractive with lots of parking. It is a quick walk to Ruby Tuesday and public transit, and the hotel has its own airport shuttle. Our room was a bit tight for space but manageable, a bit worn but clean and functional. Great shower, lots of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast is barely adequate. Overall, good value, would consider staying here again when in the area.

Great place to stay close to airport.

I live in the area but had an early flight so wanted to stay close to the Philadelphia airport. This was perfect. Easy check in and nice staff. The shuttle to the airport runs all night. The room was a. it small and no premium channels, but clean and big enough for my needs.

Convenient, airport and Wells Fargo Stadium close.

All the staff my son and I encountered were great. They were all very friendly and helpful. If you need just a QUICK room to get some sleep from a cancelled flight or layover, this property works, but beyond that, I would not recommend. The hallways and rooms have a very off putting smell. Once in you room, you become use to it, but the initial shock is overwhelming. The bed was comfortable for much of the room seemed run down. There were decorative panels on the walls that were loose and hanging. The bathroom was chaulk haven with an unmatching color which sloppily applied to EVERYTHING. Half of our channels on the TV didnt work, and the half that did, would randomly go out every few minutes. The breakfast was beyond underwhelming. A frozen omlette you had to microwave yourself, toast or bagel, and the choice of Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes.

Carpets were dirty in every hallway, bathroom curtain rods are sagging causing the curtain to slide to the middle, no room for toiletries in handicap accessible rooms, stains on bench/bed(?), no fridge in room, three pillows for two people, no outlet by second nightstand. Worst continental breakfast ever! No juice in the juice machine, hot breakfast was a microwaveable egg or toast, ran out of milk, garbage overflowing on to the floor

The breakfast was mid, if you're getting this place because breakfast is included if go somewhere else.

The hotel is close to the airport and parking is free. The rooms need to be renovated. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. There is dirt in the corners and mold in some spots. My sink drained very slowly. The bed was ok and sheets were clean. The breakfast was subpar. Checkin took a long time even though i filled out all the information in advance.

The bed was very comfortable and I liked the window seat. Breakfast was good. I have reservations about the precooked eggs in the refrigerator which were then microwaved. I would definitely stay again.

This place has comfortable beds. Breakfast has no hot food. Close to airport and highways to get places. Hot water was great!!! Nice people.

Liked: price; the location and maintenance of grounds; tidy public areas; check-in & check-out easy and speedy; a/c nice and cold, room clean, bed comfy. Not liked: despite a non-smoking facility, hallways smelled of smoke (or similar odor); elevator rattled/thundered (a tad unnerving) when stopping at 3rd floor; free breakfast disappointing (no OJ, no apple juice, cranberry juice poured as a white liquid), no yogurts.
