Overall the experience was okay - the room was decently clean, the shower head had a good pressure, the bed was clean, the tv worked, the sink was clean, the toilet flushed, etc. The problems come in with the staff/policies, and the amenities. The hot tub was out of order, the indoor pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months from how much dirt and mold and black stains were along the bottom and sides of the pool. The gym requires a special key card you need to receive from the front desk which the front desk attendant doesn’t mention when you’re checking in - the only reason we figured that out was because of another hotel guest coming down the hallway who noticed us trying to keycard into the gym and not being able to get in informed us that there is a special gym key card. The man who checked us in was very detail oriented and barely gave us any information but he was polite enough. The lady checking us out the next morning was incredibly polite and had gorgeous nails. Overall 3/5. Decent stay!

Everything was good until we went to get on the elevator with all of our luggage and the elevator was out of order. So we had to go down three flights of stairs. Ug!!!

We had a room that had a very moldy smell. Obviously it has moisture problems, talked to management, they had a/c unit cleaned, this issue was beyond that. Both my wife and I had to purchase allergy medicine to assist with Basel problems from Oder and moisture levels. Thank goodness we only spent nights there for sleep. Would have thought management, maintenance, and our concerns would have offered different room, nope!

We stayed at a Baymont a few years ago and swore never again. I'm happy to report that while I can't say this about Baymont across the board, this location was a pleasant surprise. Both front desk clerks were friendly, room was clean, everything smelled fresh, bed was comfortable toiletries were adequately supplied, the shower had great water pressure and the tub drained just as it should (those 2 are must- haves for me personally) and even the free breakfast was pretty good. Overall it was a nice stay, they may have redeemed themselves in my book!

Staff was very friendly. The keys to the first room didn’t work (neither did the second set) so there was some running back and forth between the second floor and the front desk until they finally put me in a room on the fourth floor. So it took a good 15-20 to finally get into my room. When the AC kicked in it put out a urine scent the entire time Water pressure was low and there were hairs in the shower. Bed was comfy but bring your own pillow. The giant marshmallows they had weren’t great.

When you first walk in it seem the quality just isn’t there. It felt more like a motel 6. Than a Holiday Inn Express. Or a Best Western. And yet the price was about the same. The Rooms seem run down. And you just feel like there not really clean. The sink only had hot water because the cold water valve was shut off under the sink. The desk chair had something on it that looked disgusting. As fare as the Continental Breakfast that was included with the room. It was very underwhelming. Skip it. And go eat somewhere else. You are better off spending your money somewhere else.

The pillows on our king size bed were square smaller pillows that I thought were not going to be good, but they were fine and our bed was comfortable. I loved having all the counter space for getting dressed. We had a king room with a full kitchen. We didn’t need the kitchen but if that is the room that it took to get the dressing room sink and counters, it was worth it.

The mattresses are old and don’t allow for a good night sleep, also room was small and therefore tight to move around. Nothing to watch on tv. My husband was unable to sleep after 3am and hotel was a complete waste of money.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and check- in was a breeze. I was really impressed with how quiet the stay was. Usually, people talking in the hallways, doors slamming, toilets flushing are all contributors to a lousy night's sleep, but this stay was whisper quiet!

Overall a good value. The room was a little on the small side and the sink was not inside the bathroom (not a big deal, just unexpected). Room stayed cool and the hall was quiet. Our TV didn’t work, but it was ok for us. Friendly service and good variety at breakfast.

The guy that checked us in wasn’t very friendly. The hotel was clean. Our room was clean. The area has plenty of dining options but there’s nothing to do. As far as shopping goes there’s a Walmart, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.

The hotel itself was lovely. Rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable pillows were very soft & comfy. Was very pleased with the accommodations. The staff nit so much. Upon checking in the gentleman behind the desk was unfriendly borderline rude very obvious he doesn’t enjoy his job not welcoming at all. The lady who checked us out not friendly at all either. These people could use a hospitality class. Do recommend the hotel overall stay was nice just don’t expect much from staff.

I love it when I ask questions at businesses and they say, “I don’t make the rules, I just follow them.” Could there be a less intelligent answer or a bigger lack of care about being real with the customer? At least give an answer with some empathy to show you care about how others view you and your establishment. This was my experience with the front desk at check in. Oh, and the 2 page list of rules and expectations was a bit humorous. Overall, the hotel met our needs and it was just one night…but pricey for what we got. We were put in an accessible room, now worries there although we dont require that, but the floor in the bathroom was really gross. Dirt and black grime in the corners, a seat that no one would ever want to sit on and just generally a bit smelly. The bed was nice and pretty comfortable. Breakfast was the usual bland fare that hotels serve for continental breakfasts. Have you ever been to Europe? Those folks know how to serve a tasty and well prepared breakfast. In a town with a lot of choices where people could stay, hotels should take more care and attention to guest experiences. I have travelled to 14 states in the last 6 months and stayed in many hotels. This one would rank a 5 out of 10 when I think of all the places I have stayed. Not too bad…but not too good.

Because of a late flight and weather delay during the drive from the airport, we arrived very late. the manager told us she was just about to cancel our reservation because of the nightly audit; she was glad we arrived when we did. she was very pleasant and accommodating even at that hour. everyone we interacted with during the stay was please and professional.

This was a great location for us relative to our son who is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. Eco-friendly. Courteous, attentive desk manager and housekeeping. Breakfast was well stocked.

Friendly desk staff, nice lobby, solid breakfast (eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pastries, yogurt, etc), 24/7 pool, fitness center. And for a good price. Lots of food options nearby. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. Smelled a little bit stale but overall was a nice place to stay!

Poor Breakfast for a proxy hotel called ahead before reservation ensure a full breakfast bar. I was told they had a full breakfast bar so I reserved the room. I paid $160 for the room poor breakfast poor service. 7:00 am downstairs before attending my sons military graduation ceremony cold breakfast no options and no service for the amount this hotel charges to receive the lowest quality of service in unacceptable. Really take a look at your place of business before you advertise never again staying at a baymont hotel

My mom and I were traveling though MO. Because of the wonderful reviews we chose the Baymont. We checked in just after 7pm on a quiet Monday eve. I requested a ground floor room to aid in my mother’s mobility. The desk attendant congenially obliged. Breakfast was wonderful. Hot items were hot and cold items were fresh. Plenty of assortment for various dietary needs. (Maybe a few skim milks could be supplied). The dining area was very well kept. We will definitely stay again when needed on our visits between Fayetteville and Indy.

Overall, we had a nice stay on this property, and there was nothing wrong with it. It was clean enough, in a quiet, safe area. It does need some updating throughout. They were redoing the spa in the pool area, which could use some updates. The breakfast was subpar, and we had very low expectations. It was the same thing every day, and the taste was very lacking. For the price, we expected a better overall experience. We are coming back to the area at the end of the month and will be staying elsewhere.
