Lovely hidden location with walking path & garden area yet close to the highway & local amenities. Hard to see sign if you're heading South as tree limbs obscure view so look for restaurant (Summit Grill & Bar) sign as it sits in front of hotel. Updated decor with few minor imperfections (room darkening shade only went up 8" because it was broken, room humidity was high despite air conditioning, sink faucet loose, toilet seat loose, grab bar for tub/shower unit loose, metal trim piece of vanity leg coming off so be careful of your feet kicking it). Also metal bed frame supports sticking out from box springs 2"-3" above ankle level causing 1 person to get bruise/scratch -- as if it needed to be adjusted from King to Queen size. Breakfast was good with a weekly menu posted so you knew what to expect. Cafe machine with various coffees & hot chocolate available 24/7 in the lobby, as well as, a hot & cold water dispenser. Pet friendly but, we were surprised by the $30 per night fee as opposed to the $30 per stay as listed on Hotels.com.

Great breakfast! Pretty area and we enjoyed eating at The Summit which was a couple hundred feet away:) only recommendation... when you get in the elevator it's like a sauna...super hot and humid..no air in there lol. Otherwise it was great!

There was hair all over our bathroom. Our tv was broken. The door to the pool was broken. The breakfast was not great. We got there at 8am and almost all the food was gone already. The pictures of all the rooms showed a chair in the room. Our room was so small there was no way a chair would have fit, so the picture was very misleading.

This Best Western Plus is a good value and very clean. The mattresses were very comfortable and the sheets fresh and crisp! The microwave and refrigerator were clean and newer. The 50" flat screen TV is new and a good variety of viewing choices. I did enjoy swimming in the pool, although it would be nice if the sound of the fans were quieter. The breakfast display was nice although there was no yogurt or bananas. It was a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel and reasonably priced. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby. The Caffe Latte and regular coffee was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. The only downside was the bathroom was pretty small.

I didn't stay... I was in my room for maybe 5 minutes before deciding to stay somewhere else. Sheets were dirty, headboard had fluids on it, hair, shower had used soap and water spots, mirror had toothpaste splatter on it.. carpet stains.. very unpleasant.

The hotel was very dirty. Stains on the walls, couch, headboar, and bedding. The floors were gross. Barely swept and vacuumed. There was also small splatters of blood on the bathroom walls and beard hair trimmings on the bathroom counters/sink products.

Booked a night to stay halfway home from a trip. There was a used bandaid in the bed that I didn't notice till the morning. The blackout curtain fell down quite literally on my face. They also booked the hotel to what looks like construction workers whose shift doesn't end till 1am, meaning from 1am-3am there was tons of people in the hallways talking and banging stuff around. I had to clean out the gunk that built up in the bath tub jets, and the carpet was generally dirty. I am never staying here again, and in fact this is the worst experience I've ever had at a best western. The 50% refund of the room doesn't begin to make up for the lack of sleep and discomfort I experienced. I would've been better off pulling over on the side of the road and sleeing in my car, in fact it probably would've been quieter and cleaner

Staff was friendly. The room we stayed in appeared to have some deferred maintenance issues. The thermostat on the AC was not accurate - the room was around 70 degrees but thermostat read 61 and would not go lower. I typically sleep in 65 degrees so I had a restless night. On top of that the door was missing proper seals so the noise was excessive. We were right next to the exit door so until 130am the door was opened and shut every 10-15 minutes and would rattle everything in the room. Every time someone would open or close their hotel room door, it would sound like we were standing in the hallway.

It was a nice hotel nice room. People were extremely friendly, however,They put me by the exit door on the first floor, which was extremely noisy at 5 AM so I didn’t like that part and I would’ve definitely have liked to have slept in that morning being a Saturday

Although the property is older, it has been upgraded at some point and is okay, but not super modern. Didn't like the fact that the TV had a beautiful picture, but no sound. No matter what I tried or how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to work. Didn't matter because we were only there one night. I mentioned it at the front desk when we checked out and they were very polite and apologetic and said they would look into it.

Greatly improved hotel since we stayed here under different ownership, and I have to tell the current owners of the truly amazing manager Courtney! Great selection at breakfast. Left room for the day got back in evening and it had not been cleaned. Had to go get clean towels. Was told if do not disturb is on door after 9:30 room would not be clean. We did not have sign out. Wasn’t cleaned second day as well. Beds comfortable lots of pillows clean bathroom

We went to the KC area for a wedding. They were close to the wedding venue and reasonable with the price. Room was clean and quiet. It rained while we were there so we did not explore. It's close to the highways but far away enough to be quiet. Willing to stay there again on our next visit to KC. PS> The breakfast was very good too.

The first night there was a guest over dosing in the pool area. Later that evening the hallway outside our room reeked of marijuana. This smell continued the next morning and evening as well. The cover on our bed was stained. The staff replaced all the bedding the next day and it was much better. The breakfast was sub par at best.
