Underground parking was easy to get into with the help of desk attendant Erica. She was very pleasant and helpful. It's downtown, so it was hard to tell where the front was. We ended up pulling into the underground parking, and with the help of Erica, we got in and also up the elevator to the front desk before we checked in. Comfy bed! Short walk to target field. Brewery and restaurants very close.

Nice kichen and large suite with separated room for sofa bed. Appreciated the front desk staff who were incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. Breakfast was fairly routine fair, but FREE!!! Lovely little pool area, great for quiet start to the day, but wish it was open earlier than 0900. Location is super, nice neighborhood, great shops, restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. Will plan a stay here again!

This was a great hotel in most areas. Safe area and many walkable restaurants, bars, breweries and stores. We booked here planning to spend one of the days by the pool. There are only 6 loungers and 3 are broken. They really need to replace the pool chairs and the loungers. The pool was super busy and people were having to sit on the hot concrete ground on towels. It’s a bit older hotel and you can see the wear, but they’ve done a nice job keeping it up. It’s clean and quiet. If you’re looking to spend a relaxing day by a pool, this isn’t the place. If not, everything else is great.

I thought this hotel was great, but I think a very big drawback was that the pool area is only open until 9:00 p.m. It would be great to come back from a Twins game, local show, night on the town, or whatever, and relax around the outdoor pool. But nope!

Likes- staff was excellent especially Doonia she was so polite, patience, and helpful she worked the day shift. Also, the pool was great, room was very clean, the breakfast was amazing! Also pool table cool Very safe area Dislikes - pool table needs to be updated Outside pool needs to be updated and new lounge chairs with cushion Softer towels

Property was conveniently located to Shops in Dining in NorthLoop. The breakfast included in above and beyond with lots of choices and was refilled with food/drink as much as needed. Our only down point was we were woken up 5 AM with an unwarranted wake-up telephone call. Must have been ordered by previous guest.

This property was listed as having a rooftop pool, which is the only reason I booked it. Upon arriving to checkin we were informed that there is no rooftop pool. They instead had a small, dirty, outdoor parking lot level pool. I understand the pool is outside and there is a chance of debris blowing in. The pool was filled with leaves, pine needles, candy wrappers, cigarette buttes, and styrofoam chunks. It was disgusting.

Was a perfect room for our needs, complete with kitchenette and lots of room. My biggest complaint was that i paid for underground parking and there were no spots left... shouldnt you know how many vehicles you have down there? Not like there are hundreds of spots... my only other complaint was the size of breakfast room... we were travelling with an infant and the stroller takes up a lot of room... and there was limited seating compared to the number of guests... food was good except on our first morning there was no juice, convenient location for our conference

Property was nice and affordable, had good breakfast. Pool should stay open later, especially on Friday-Sunday evenings. My bathroom upon check-in was not cleaned! There was open bar of soap and wrapper on bathroom sink counter, my toaster did not work and drain in kitchen sink stunk bad.

The hotel is in a great location. Parking was easy, staff were great, and the room was spotless. The only issue really was the couch and chair were incredibly uncomfortable and frankly old. Update those and I’d have given all 5s.

Towne Place Suites used to be my go-to for visits to the area. The staff are friendly, the place is hospitable and has most of the amenities I want. The Wi-Fi is unusable for work purpose, but a cell hotspot takes care of that. However, on my last visit, the place reeked inside and out of pot, including in the hallways, starting at 6am as people waked and baked by the pool. I couldn’t stand the stench that floated in through my room’s wall unit (facing the pool) and my partner suffered from sneezing fits. I won’t be back unless guests who want a smoke-free environment are accommodated.

Room was very dated. Also, we were on the first floor on the street and got woken up multiple times by cars (uber drivers waiting for bar close?) parked on the street with loud music. We ended up having to walk out at 2am to ask a driver to turn their music down.

Great location and good size rooms! Nice to have a full kitchen as well. Breakfast was ok and had a decent selection, bed was comfortable and even though room was on the first floor it was very quiet. The room itself was a little worse for wear and could use some updating but all in all - a solid couch for the location and price.

Bathroom needs work. Shampoo container keeps falling off the wall. The mirror frame is damaged and the toilet does not seemed secured to the floor. I rocks when you sit down on it.

Not sure who designed the rooms but in order to watch TV from the bed you have to move furniture around which makes no sense. The air temperature of the hotel lobby/hallway is way too cold to sit and enjoy breakfast or wait on your ride in the lobby

Erika at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! The hotel was within walking distance to the Target Center which was great. We had a very well equipped efficiency type room with all the kitchen necessities including a stove with burners + oven and dishwaaher. The bed was super comfortable. Complementary breakfast was very nice. It was a great overnight stay.

The person that checked me in did not mark the room as occupied. So when a late check-in was given my room at midnight I was woken up to the sound of someone trying to get in my room. Shortly after someone started banging on my door saying they were from guest services. Appropriately freaked out and looked through the peep hole to a man standing there. I told him I did not order anything from guest services and he said that I wasn't supposed to be in the room. So I called the front desk and told them that someone was trying to get in my room to which they accused me of being in the room and I shouldn't be. I told them that I paid for the room and have a card so WTH. The next morning I requested to talk to a manager about the incident and was very rudely given an excuse to the behavior and no apology was ever offered. I gave my phone number and email and was told the manager would contact me to "make things right". I have not been contacted since. Overall the hotel is shabby, the breakfast was nothing special and the coffee was terrible. Have to pay extra for parking in an unsecure lot or to use the pool. Definitely over priced and tops my list of worst hotel stays.

Everything was ok once I actually got checked in, but they had a sign pointing to parking for check in, but it was blocked off with orange cones and with no street parking I circled the property three times looking for parking before finally parking in a "no parking" zone and was brushed off by the check in clerk when I suggested they fix the problem

Avoid this hotel!!! It’s getting dated and basic things don’t work. Simple requests for basic amenities were ignored. Staff during and after the stay did nothing to rectify the constant issues that came up during our stay.

The clerk at the desk when I arrived was very sweet and helpful. The overnight clerk had not given accurate information about the checkout times or even when breakfast was served. In the morning we planned to go to breakfast but the housekeeping lady came around knocking on doors around 9 AM and waking everyone up ttying to get the rooms cleaned early. So we were awakened rudely to that and once downstairs the lady was already packing up the breakfast items at 9:30 even though he told us 10:30 and the hotel sign at the door says 10 is the end time. We left immediately. Will not return. It was really a waste to pay for the room because we didn't get the eat, shower, or even enjoy sleeping in on the weekend...Not enough parking either. There was a small lot of off-street, uncovered parking. One tiny little spot left and my luxury SUV. Parking was an extra fee added when booking the room. Contact me about a refund.

While this property is dated, they keep it clean, include a decent breakfast, and have great staff. If you’re visiting friends or family in North Loop this is a very convenient location, and it has super easy and abundant parking! There are lots of coffee shops, restaurants and the river trail in easy walking distance, as well as a little market across the street and a Whole Foods a few blocks away. If you want style and luxury this isn’t the hotel for you, but if you want a well-run, and well-located comfortable place to stay I highly recommend The North Loop Town Place Suites.

Close to Target Field and walking distance to the blue and green trains and close to buses near by. If you want to dine there's a lot of options to choose from. Breakfast was good and for all the amenities the hotel has to offer it's a steal in my opinion.

Overall experience was pretty good. Had a 2 room suite which worked great. Only complaints, the shower curtain rod was slight broke which cause the curtain to open while showering and the breakfast area was crowded and very warm - solved that by taking breakfast back to the suite.
