There was only 1 elevator and only 1 ice machine located off the lobby. However, the ice lasted a long time which was very nice! The breakfast had a nice variety, and was available until 10:00 am! The muffins were dry and the juice pulpy, but overall good. It's walkable to Sheplers Ferry, but not necessarily for downtown Mackinaw City. There is also a shuttle pick up for Sheplers. Overall a nice hotel and clean.

This hotel is very close to the Mackinac Bridge so it was an easy off to get there. Quiet area. Hotel called the shuttle for the ferry & they picked us up within minutes. When we arrived back, the shuttle drops off at the overflow parking lot, which was right across the street. We were able to stay parked at the hotel, which saved $15. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast offered hot and cold items - enough to fuel us for the morning. Would stay again at this location.

This hotel was wonderful! The staff was so friendly, the pool was clean and nice and the breakfast was great. It was also walking distance to the shuttle for the ferry to the Island. Great value! We will absolutely be staying here again for our next stay in Mackinaw City.

The room & hotel was very clean . One complain was about the smell, idk what cleaning products or what they used for carpets because smell weird . And maybe they need to have better options for breakfast: the scrambled eggs and the baked eggs were tasteless. Personally I don’t like breakfast sausage, so the only choice I had was bagels or pancakes

Evrything was geeat except the hand towel was not clean. It seems the cleaner did not change them. Other than that it was a great hotel. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, the staff in the lobby were super nice and helpful, and it was a great location. Please change the towels even if it looks clean on the outside! Keep up the great work with everything else!

This is a very quiet hotel, even though it was mostly full every night you could barely hear any sounds at all from other guests. It is an easy walk to downtown Mackinaw City and the ferry shuttle to Mackinac Island. The room was spotless. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

There was a locked door connecting to an adjacent room that allowed sound to come through. The guests there had a barking dog, which woke us up. Very disappointing. The room itself was nice and spacious.

This is an older hotel but it's very clean and well kept. It's very conveniently located to the ferry. We were able to walk to the ferry easily. It's close to shopping. It was very busy while we were there, but after 10-10:30 pm, we never heard much noise. I was able to hear someone in the next room snoring so the walls aren't super thick. I just popped in ear plugs and went right back to sleep. The people working were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Property was well maintained and clean. The only drawback was the way the bathroom amenities were set up -- sink and bathroom counters were outside the bathroom which some might prefer (ability for one person to use bathroom/shower while another has sink access/gets ready outside) but it just didn't work well for our family of four. The tub faucet that controls the water temperature was also loose, and the water pressure was low. Other than those two small issues everything was good. Breakfast was enjoyable and the hotel was right across the street from the Shepler Ferry shuttle and walking distance to Mackinaw Crossing.

Pros: The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and clean. The tv had one of the crispest pictures I’ve seen. The hot tub was nice. There’s daily breakfast of eggs, sausage, breads, muffins, yogurt, fruit. You can enjoy a 24hr coffee island that includes tea and hot cocoa. It was easy to walk to everything. Cons: The fridge in the room had a very high pitched scream every time it kicked on that lasted the whole time it ran. It kicked on a lot! We had to try to drown it out with the tv while awake and a fan while sleeping. Hopefully this is just a one off… the cleaning guy walked into our room while I was laying on the bed half dressed which I didn’t appreciate. He didn’t knock and there was a do not disturb sign on the door. He did apologize.

Very nice establishment! Close to everything and within walking distance to restaurants and stores. On a less busy street, so very quiet. Parking available with access to entrance doors in both front and back of building. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy and rooms spacious.

We arrived around 11:00pm and the front desk greeted us with warm smiles. They were very friendly and I enjoyed our conversation about the city. In room 105 the one queen bed closet to window has some issues. The bed springs are noisy. That is the issue I want to let you know. Thank you from Ohio

I chose this hotel as it was off the strip but still 1 block west of Mackinaw crossing and walking distance to everything! ALL workers smiled and acknowledged my family. Everyone so helpful. Everything so clean. We loved the pool area as the hot tub is connected to the pool. We forgot something in the room and we got 30 minutes out before I remembered. They took care of it right away and UPS it to me (I see it the charge on my CC). I would stay here again! The only thing I could come up with to improve is the Breakfast is average - juice, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, mini muffins, bagel/English muffins, microwave sausage links, fake eggs from the microwave. Fine for me as I typically eat a yogurt for breakfast. Feeding my children, they wish there was more.

While the hotel is good overall, they might need to review the change of travel plans related guidelines. The hotel is in the center of the city & most of the interesting places are quite nearby. Their staff was not consistent. I'd requested the change of my dates in advance. While checking in, they accepted. But after the check out, they called me to informed that they couldn't accept & didn't refund! Expedia is kind enough & still working on this.

Checking in was wonderful! They were so kind and sweet. They upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite! We were amazed! A very nice comfortable stay. Bed was great for a relaxing and good sleep. Would stay again in a flash!

The location is excellent, within short walk to ferry, restaurants, and shops. Property appears relatively new, is in excellent condition and very clean. Staff is wonderful. My wife left a pair of good shoes, which the staff was kind enough to mail to us. The breakfast, however, is just average, on par with most other hotels, would benefit from more selection of cold items such as pastries and fruit. On the plus side, the breakfast area, although small, was kept very clean. Overall, a very nice stay, and we would stay here again!

I felt as though maybe the front desk staff were slightly rude when my card was declining. It’s already embarrassing enough because I knew I obviously had money. However, it was an issue with the numbers on their end. After that, they were apologetic and kind. The service was good, good breakfast and the room was exceptionally clean.

Very disappointed after finding out the hotel offers shuttle service & discount tickets to Mackinaw Island & ferry area. We paid full cost and for parking as 2 in our party had limited walking ability. We found out about these offers as we were checking out and another party was. He king in and overheard the conversation. We were told that there is a (small) sign posted to the side regarding tickets after we checked out not when we checked in. Communication would have been wonderful. Would have saved us the cost of parking $45 and the discount on the ferry for 4 of us.

Shops were super close, and they even let us arrive early, verify we had a paid for reservation and allow us to park there for free and called for a shuttle on our behalf to the nearby ferry pier. It would have been $15 a day otherwise, just for day parking on the ferry service's lot! They went above and beyond our expectations.

Check in staff weren't very nice. Impatient. I suppose they're eager for tourist season to be over. Otherwise, the hotel had a nice bright spacious room, typical hotel breakfast w hot items, convenient to ferry, and easy to walk around town.

Easy access to Mackinaw Crossing for shopping and dining. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Only about a 10 minute walk to Sheplers Ferry. Hotel was very clean, staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good. Will book here again.

I chose this hotel as it was off the strip but still 1 block west of Mackinaw crossing and walking distance to everything! ALL workers smiled and acknowledged my family. Everyone so helpful. Everything so clean. We loved the pool area as the hot tub is connected to the pool. We forgot something in the room and we got 30 minutes out before I remembered. They took care of it right away and UPS it to me (I see it the charge on my CC). I would stay here again! The only thing I could come up with to improve is the Breakfast is average - juice, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, mini muffins, bagel/English muffins, microwave sausage links, fake eggs from the microwave. Fine for me as I typically eat a yogurt for breakfast. Feeding my children, they wish there was more.

Overall a good hotel. Breakfast however not so good. We stayed 4 days and it was literally the same 4 options everyday. Hotel is a little outdated, but still very clean and service was excellent.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Somewhat noisy hallways which could be improved with better doors on the rooms. Also, breakfast needs to be improved, sausages were grey in color, only plain white for bagel options, and your typical "hotel" scrambled eggs.

I was VERY UNHAPPY about the coffee unlike ALL hotels (8 this yr) the coffee is brewed coffee. This hotel coffee vending machine (free) tastes terrible. The price I paided to stay there is good but was enough to get good fresh coffee.
