Pros: breakfast was good, parking is easy, it was overall pretty clean except for some gross stuff on the floor by the trashcan. Cons: Walls are thin and I could hear our neighbors talking at 4 am/people in the lobby and doors slamming all night. The TV was in bad shape, but it is just a place to sleep so I'm glad I spent most of the day out. Overall the price for being 20 minutes from the main Salem attractions is pretty good.

I stayed at Comfort Inn Danvers, MA September 2025 and was shocked to find two cockroaches on the bathroom floor in the morning. I killed one and took photos, reported it to management, and was only offered $20 off. I left immediately because I no longer felt comfortable staying there. The room had initially seemed clean, but this was unsanitary and unacceptable. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Bad experience at pre-check out.I paid in advance for one extra night,and the next day I got stopped by an agent at the front desk asking me to pay for the extra night.I have spent more than half and hour for them to solve the problem.I showed them my bank statement saying clearly that I paid already and i was not willing to pay not even a peny.After so many adjustments, they told me me that they will return an amount of $43 back to my account, I never received it.They need to a deep cleaning on the carpets,they are extremely dirty in the rooms.the ones in the hallway smell terribly bad. Good breakfast.

It was a good fit for what we needed. However there is a lingering odor to the rooms, the housekeeping is on request basis only, and I felt the bedding needed to be retired. The carpets are old and holding the odor I would assume.

room was large and spotless. 1st room was on ground floor and window locks did not work and were broken. told desk and they were very gracious and moved use quickly to a better room. breakfast was better than some hotels. close to many activities and restaurants and malls. would stay here again.

We where in the area to visit our daughter, to which we have stayed at a bunch of different hotels in the area over the last 4 years. I will say the Hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel is fairly clean. The one thing I will say is that I am not sure what cleaning supplies are being used but the halls and rooms smell old and like ild stale cigarettes. It was nice enough out that we opened a window to air it out and it was not as strong.

The coffee pot was missing the lifter to allow coffee to actually drip. I was told okay when I called the front desk, no other assistance in regards to getting another coffee pot. I again called the front desk’s later and was told I can go down to the front desk to get batteries. Most hotels have someone bring it to your room.

We were given 2 different rooms at check in. The first one was not cleaned so we went back to front desk. The second room had someone already in it and went back to front desk again. The 3rd room was fine. Other than check in process hotel was fine

Family trip, was there for halloween in salem, drove 900 miles. Service was really slow, only one person checking people in. I paid $400 for a room here, I'm sure it was because it was October, so not worth it. They do not clean your room unless you ask, that includes towels. When I asked, they only dropped off towels, didnt take the dirty ones, didnt take the trash or manage the beds. For $400, you would expect more. Walls are thin, heard people taking in the hall at 2am, heard the footsteps of the people above me. What a disappointment.

Traveling to visit Salem was made easy by staying here at this hotel. My fiancé and I enjoyed our one week stay and we both loved the breakfast variety that they had to offer. The little omelettes with the bell peppers and the waffles were my absolute favorite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I did have a pricing issue because of a check in error, but it was fixed and I was refunded the excess amount fairly quickly. Other than that, visiting Massachusetts was absolutely amazing and very memorable.
