Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Castleton

It was a very nice stay and the grandkids loved the pool

So nice and clean! The pool area was amazing the only thing we didn’t like was no hot tub other than that everything was excellent

We chose this hotel because they had a pool my son and I checked in and went right up to our room and changed for a swim (it is July ) only to find a note on the door that the pool closed due to maintenance I contacted the manager on duty Chris and he was NO HELP he directed me to the stack of business cards and said to contact the GM Julie so I did and she was NO help. I do believe this hotel charges extra due to the fact they have a pool and they should IF IT IS WORKING if not adjust the rates the guest should be informed at the time of check in or a sign at the front desk so we can make our own decision if we want to stay/pay for something we are not receiving bad business practices we will not be staying at Courtyard by Marriott in the future

We had a room on the ground floor on the interior half on the hotel were there was a nice courtyard. Having a sliding door that gave us easy access and had 2 chairs and a small table on our own little patio was nice. The doors to the building from the parking areas other than the main entrance were secure 24 hours a day which gave us a nice sense of safety having said sliding door on our room. The tv had a welcome message on it when we entered our room, which was a new experience for us. The courtyard had a couple of seating areas and a fire pit that we didn't get to inquire about. The bed was fine and the room and halls didn't have any odd smells. For the price we paid and the location, it was a great stay. We would definitely recommend it and will stay here again when we come back for sure.

Fairly quiet, comfortable, clean room. I didn't realize I booked a business trip during spring break and the hotel was crawling with little kids. My room faced the courtyard so the pool noise was loud, but not after the posted quiet time.

Awesome stay. Did laundry. No time to swim got there at closing time. Awesome location, quite.

Awesome hotel! Pillows for every person . Hard and soft ! Very clean and hotel staff were great! Balconies are a great bonus if your like me and want fresh air!

Dear Courtyard Marriott Management Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at your hotel. My experience was far from the high standards I anticipated, based on the information presented on your website and the reputation of the Marriott brand. Upon arrival, I was disheartened to find my room in a condition that can only be described as unsatisfactory. The room was not only dirty but also emitted a foul smell that made my stay uncomfortable. This is not what I expected from a hotel of your stature, and it significantly affected my experience. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were not up to par, which is concerning not only from a guest comfort perspective but also from a health and safety standpoint. It is essential for guests to feel confident in the cleanliness of their accommodations, especially under the current circumstances where hygiene is of utmost importance. The fact I was charged 427.00 for one night and didn’t even stay in the room for 2 hours, and I purchased the insurance package and still can not even receive a refund or a credit for a different Marriott makes it that much more awful. Marriott has always been a go to for stays for me, so I’m saddened by all of this.

The room smelled terribly of smoke. Asked for room to be refreshed and we were gone all day. Came back at 9 pm and nothing had been done. Disappointed in Marriott

We have stayed here on several occasions. However this time we were disappointed that the room was tainted with smoke where a previous guest had smoked on the balcony and left cigarette butts in a cup outside by the air conditioner intake. There was also some questionable stains on the couch. The price had also gone up more than $150 for the night. It was the most expensive hotel in the area and its cleanliness, having to pay for breakfast and its weak slow internet did not justify the cost. On the plus side the bed was comfortable.

We arrived late in the evening for our reservation. We had been heading back from Ohio and the eclipse celebrations. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave a very good description of the hospital amenities. He was super friendly and assured us that if we needed anything, he would be more than happy to accommodate. The room was very clean and spacious. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was nice and clean, the building seems to have been updated recently and overall gave me a peace of mind to stay.

Customer service was excellent. Hotel common spaces were remodeled, but the barhrooms are dated and need updated.

The heat took a very long time to work, then there was a malfunction with the smoke detectors in the room kept alarm and nobody in our room smokes, they said moving to another room wasn’t possible due to the hotel becoming completely booked

My room was by an exit door leading to the rear parking lot. Too dam noisy.

I was surprised not to see a full-length mirror in the room. As updated as the rooms were, the lighting was poor. If you're a woman who wears make-up, I hope you bring your own mirrors and lighting. Also, a community microwave is gross.

The hotel was fine. The tv was out for the first couple days of our stay and would come in and out. They did not offer much of a solution for that. The continental breakfast was very limited and not good.

The property facilities were great. There were charges for food and beverages on my bill that we didn’t make as we did not eat at the hotel at the hotel. I was told by the desk person that the manager would correct the charges. The charges have not been corrected and I have not been contacted about the correction either. I’m now going to have to dispute those charges with my credit card company.

Staff was extremely friendly

We notified the hotel a few days before, the day of and when we checked in that my husband had a severe allergy to down and feather bedding. We were assured that we were given hypo allergenic rooms, However, late into our stay we discovered 3 out of 4 pillows in our room were feather! This explained why my husband had become ill over the weekend. After checkout I immediately contacted the hotel and was told to leave a message(Sunday). Bu Tuesday I had not heard back to I called again and the Manager that I spoke to was beyond rude and had no business being in that type of role. While our conversation was heated, he did state they would allow a refund for our room. (We had initially booked two rooms). Also, I have pictures of the pillows.

Hotel was very nice and upgraded. I didn’t care for the Bistro where everything is ala cart. I don’t care for hotels that charge for coffee in the morning unless made in the room. Otherwise very nice, clean and safe hotel.

The room was clean and spacious. The service at the breakfast area was slow and I chose to go to a restaurant instead of waiting. It could have been the person in front of me was just really picky I don’t know, but it took a while for their order so I moved on. The rest of my experience was really good!
