Room had a large red stain in the carpet. Bathroom tiles were broken and had crude inbetween the base boards. Toilet would not flush right. And the side door to the hotel would not lock. Will not go back to a Ramada again.

The room, the shower/ bath tub was dirty with soap scum, the shower curtain seems like it was never changed was dirty looking and the toilet was constantly running. Loud!! Beds were not comfortable at all. The t. V, had a terrible pictur screen.We looked at the pool and it looked very cloudy and not treated with chemicals , just did not look clean. Very disappointed with our stay.

Pool not in operation, didn't realize until I saw the sign on the door. Appeared to be blood stains on one of the pillows. Public hair on sidewall of shower. Stains in carpet, on desk chair, and spots throughout the room. And hallway reeked strongly of Marijuana, the entire stay.

Doors to pool and outdoors did not lock; bathroom door didn't lock; water pipe busted so we had no water that night, it was turned back on the next morning, wake were thin and there was a screaming child next door to us screaming into 2 in the morning; we were next to the vending machine and heard people getting ice at midnight; show on tv in the lobby at breakfast was not family friendly

Staff at night likes to sleep behind desk, couldn’t use pool was told when booked was open got here closed down due to condinsation and heaters not working properly my kids was very disappointed

Took awhile for front desk to even know we were here. Room smelled musty. Moldy bathroom ceiling. Air conditioner smelled when used. We did not use it. Snacks up front were almost empty. Continental Breakfast did not look appetizing. We left and ate somewhere else. We will not be back.

Looked fin from the outside and the lobby and main hall were similar. The oroblems started when we entred the room. There was a heavy must smell, which means active mold. I suspect the mold was in the exterior wall due to improper HVAC drainage. The lower quarter lf the shower curtain also contained dozens of independent mold locations. The carpet was filthy. In context of the conditions described above it is hard to be confident that the bedding and towels were not likewoae dirty, even if not visibly apparent.

I remember when Ramada was a nice place. Not this one. To begin with, the trashcan, two feet from the side entrance, remained overflowing with putrid garbage for two days. The ice machine was out of order the entire time. The shower curtain was moldy. The "clean" towels had long black hair on them. No towel to step out of shower on. Room and facility very run down. Something I have never seen, facility commercial laundry room door was left open at all times, this was not a laundry for guests, which this place does not have. When I requested a floor mat for the shower the front desk attendant went to laundry room and said there were none, that they were all dirty, but they could get me one the next day. The duvet cover had a suspicious looking stain that was crusty, so I am assuming it was not changed between guests. Won't guess as to what it might have been, just took it off. Made me suspicious as to the cleanliness of anything in the room. Just another reason I never travel without disinfecting wipes.

It does not look anything like the photo. It's filthy. It's more like a halfway house than a hotel. Smokers are sitting at check-in, so you are choked by smoke as you arrive. It's dirty. I had a stain on my sheets. Soot came out of the heating system. Breakfast was disappointing. It was unpleasant and I did not feel safe.

Owner was amazing, washer had broken earlier in the week and she washed a load of laundry for us because her repair man hadnt been able to get the there to fix the public use machine! Will definitely stay here again for just the service we received!

Don’t Stay Here!!! The rooms are dirty, the hotel is dirty, and it is not safe. The room was not cleaned. Hair all over the bathroom, dirty carpet, the room smells of mold, and stains on sheets. When I asked for another room, the employee at the front desk, started complaining about management and cleaning staff. In the lobby, a staff member was loudly playing online video games on the hotel computer with a towel wrapped around her. We saw her sleeping in the lobby the next morning. Very strange. Went to the second room and it was disgusting too. The hallway smelled of drugs and doors were propped open. Other businesses were happening at this hotel. Not safe.

Room had no Kleenex, towels and barely any toilet paper left. No one present at front desk when we arrived. Room was not in good condition overall and the building was aged. Looked very out of place next to the gorgeous Holiday Inn across the parking lot. Will not stay here again.

This hotel was old but clean. The room was nice sized and included a soda and a comfy chair. Breakfast was okay and you get what you paid for. Now for the worst part. The front desk clerk and her friend were outside smoking marijuana. The entrance smelled so bad. When she saw us she went in to register us and it was obvious she was high. At that point I got scared and wanted to leave but knew I would lose my money. I think possession of marijuana is legal in Illinois but so is alcohol and you can’t do that while working. I will never stay there again and probably not another Ramada Inn either.

Horrible experience with this hotel. Front desk clerk was smoking pot by the front door . I had to walk through stink to get into hotel. When i called her out on the smell she refused to let me check in even though the room was already paid for. Said she didn't like my attitude. She took away my keys and told me i had to leave.

We arrived at about 10:30 pm. It took a bit for anyone to show up at the desk so we could check in. I called and that did not work. Finally located a service bell and that worked. Update: the breakfast was really impressive for this type of stay. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, juice, yogurt, etc and the coffee was good. Usually it’s just cereal and maybe a waffle maker if you’re lucky. So I give top marks for the breakfast, especially considering the room price.

The hotel is in a convenient location, but very outdated and the pictures are not a good representation of the hotel. The breakfast was a joke and not in a funny way. They appear to cut corners where ever they can. The staff was not engaging nor helpful.

Shower curtain missing/sink faucet leaked badly/floor was dirty. Called the front desk to get a room change but no one answered. Breakfast offerings were scarce/hot items (eggs & sausage)not edible. Staff did not seem to care. Will be asking for a refund.

I was expecting more from the Ramada name, but we got what we paid for. The hotel was mostly clean, but very worn. Holes in the towels as one example. The breakfast presented well, but the eggs and sausages were horrible. Could not eat them.
