The first room we were assigned has a malfunctioning A/C unit. While the young man working the desk at night was very helpful and apologetic, the room we were moved into had other issues. The room had a musty smell and was otherwise not sufficiently cleaned as we found a clump of hair, used sock in the bathroom, and generally could use a pass with the vacuum. This matched with the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of shared spaces including the ice and vending area, too. By the time we got to breakfast, our expectations were pretty low. They had a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, packets to make oatmeal, watery coffee, and hot biscuits and gravy with sausage links. I couldn't bring myself to try the gravy. The sausage was decent, and my biscuit was hard.

Premises and room very clean and well maintained. Spacious large bathroom and room with premium bedding (loved the pillows). Got a great nights rest. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Nice selection of buffet breakfast foods, once we finally got to eat. All the hot food pans were empty when we arrived to breakfast area at around 7:45 am. My husband had to go find and tell the food service attendant. She was inattentive to keeping the foods filled and stocked. She was talking (hands free) on her cell phone the entire time we were in the breakfast room waiting for her to refill the empty serving pans, (and while she was working) which took over 30 minutes. Coffee was very weak and not very hot. My husband was not very happy as he was hungry and this delayed getting on the road early to continue our journey back home to Columbia, MO. Would definitely book there again as we were very comfortable in our room. Hopefully our breakfast experience will be better on the next visit??

The pool area was in poor condition. There were no towels and the pool itself was green and there was grit at the bottom. It really was in need of a good cleaning and needed repair. The room was okay but the window was in poor repair. The refrigerator was not very cold.
