The on site gym was used by my husband and we were particularly grateful for the laundry facilities; reasonably priced and more than 1! The hotel is well maintained, except for a torn sheer in the room. The beds are very comfortable and the space is large. The breakfast is a bonus with many choices of food to eat. We loved the parking; open and free! The location was great for moving throughout the area. We will definitely return when in the area!

Such a lovely atmosphere at this hotel - really calm and serene and so nice to step out into fresh air and space. Staff are super helpful and polite and the breakfast is great. Love the complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby!

We’ve stayed here three times in the last 3 years. The price for the room was high for one night and two travelers even though we booked through Expedia. The room they were going to give us was for handicapped person(s). The lady who was sitting behind the desk not the clerk booking us in asked if we knew the room was for handicapped people. We were unaware and that was not required. They gave us another room but it was next to the drinks and snacks machines which would be disturbing. They were understanding and provided another room. However the curtains didn’t close only the light opaque ones closed. There was mold in the toilet. Do I need to specify that I need curtains that close for privacy and no lights to shine through either way? Since it was only one night we made due. From the parking lot it seemed they had other better rooms available.

Access to the room was extremely difficult, and we were on the ground floor. The building was constructed on sloped ground, so getting access into the building requires pushing a luggage cart up a LONG ramp with a switchback. The doors to the rooms are slightly narrower than modern 34" doorways, meaning that a loaded luggage cart would not fit into the room and had to be unloaded in the corridor and carried into the room. And finally, the room itself was surprisingly small, so that when all of the luggage was in the room, there was nowhere to walk, so we had to crawl over the beds to move about the room. The management suggested that we should have gotten a suite, which is larger, but none of their suites have two queen beds, and we need two queen beds. Just a word to the wise: if you want to bring your suitcases into the room, and once in the room open them up, be aware that there are significant physical and logistical challenges to doing that successfully, if at all. Otherwise, everything else in the room was comforatable and worked well.

Loved the 'hello from Montpelier' postcard and pen. Comfy bed, but could use bigger pillows. Shower was good and hot. Room was stocked with correct/good amount of towels. I thought it was weird that their were shampoo dispensers but soap bars, but both were good. I didnt like that the light and vent were tied together, unless you used the light on the timer, wich sometimes ran out while I was inthe shower. Breakfasts were as expected with a good variety of fresh options. I love the coffee/tea available 24 hrs in the lobby, and that they had plastic utensils and napkins as well. Ice machine worked well and save me money and time by not having to stop and buy bags. Good variety of TV channels. Staff was friendly. It was great to have the Applebee's right these as well. I saw lots of other guests there. Good WIFI. Easy to get to - right off the highway. Gas station and grocery store close by. Fridge worked well, although I would have liked a freezer area.

Poor sleep quality. Asked for a quiet room, but we were placed above the front desk area which is open to the 2nd floor. Loud and lots of banging throughout the night. Doors, boxes being moved(sounded like), and voices. We even had a large box fan. Breakfast was mediocre. One positive waa the ahower was powerful. Other than that, wouldn't stay here again.

I requested a late check out and was rushed to get out in 10 min right after 1105am phone call to my room. No one at all would appreciate it especially for price of $380 per night in a suite to be treated like that. I'm a diamond member for Hilton Hotels. They allowed me to check out at 1pm and never rush me to get out like that. Unfortunately there wasn't a Hilton nearby. Here they rush you out in 10 min with 3 cleaning personnel's banging on the door after a phone call 10 min prior. I would definitely not stay there again. I rather sleep in my Tesla instead. I never had issues with Comfort in before. I don't know what there problem is at this location.

It was absolutely amazing! Exceeded any expectations I might have had based on price. Carol was awesome at the front desk, so kind and friendly. I was early and exhausted after an early morning flight, but she was able to find me a room to get into to take a nap .

The service was out standing. When I arrived I had been traveling for two days and was exhausted. The employee at the front desk went and picked up dinner for me and brought it to my room. Very thankful for his kindness.

Our chief destination was Montpelier, so the daily drive there was about 6 miles. The motel is in a convenient driving location from the capital , has an Applebee restaurant next to it , the facility offers free substantial breakfast and free parking all for a very reasonable price .

The property was easy to find but because of the highway traffic you could hear the 18 wheelers throughout the night. A good place to stay if you want to get in and be on your way in the morning, but not a place to stay if you want to feel like you are in the cute town of Montpelier.

This is one of the BEST hotels we've stayed in: spotless clean, friendly and helpful receptionists and staff, fantastic comp breakfast (by far the most choices!), rooms are nicely decorated, and the grounds well kept. Even the manager stopped to greet us! Five stars from us!!!!

From the front desk people to the hostess in the breakfast buffet, everyone was very cheerful and helpful. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING; the 2 year old, the adolescent, the GF diner, and the 65 year old in our group all found delicious items from which to choose. The bedding looked brand new, and we appreciated that very much (after a horrifying experience last fall that we'd all just soon forget). Thank you!

For EV drivers hotel has both Tesla charging stations and DC charging. You will need to drive to restaurants in the area unless you’re a big fan of Applebees which is a very short walk.
