The people working here are wonderful and kind. Check in was quick and easy. The room was comfy and the pool was fun and clean. We will be back!

The swimming pool had large black chucks of hair floating all around in it. The breakfast wasnt much to be desired, and was bare minimum. First night stay was nice and quiet, second night the people in the room above us we noisy and loud all night long. And sounded like people beating on doors numerous times throughout the night. Parking in not the best or most convenient. The woman who checked me in wasnt very personable, but every other staff member was very nice. Overall the motel was ok. It was clean (except for the side entrances. They need to focus in cleaning the refrigerators out. We opened the refrigerator and the freezer part was almost all ice. I would stay here again. The location is convienient and easy to get to. Its close to the lake, dining, and shopping.

The beds were comfortable but the bathrooms, carpet and pool area need a lot of actual clean up. Hair wads were all over the pool deck which seemed very unsanitary. The room bathroom was mediocre cleaned at best.

Good service, clean rooms. The workout room was very dirty and had broken equipment. Only cardio machines.

I reserved a couple rooms for me and my 4 children . We had activities planned so actually didn't get there till 12 after we checked in a left . So went straight to bed my children were bummed they didn't get to use the pool so I decided we would stay one more night so I paid for another night . We lounged in our room till about 1:30 we all agreed time to enjoy the pool my children went before me as I had to still get my swimsuit on I was about 15 min after them . I walked into the pool room all my children are all talking over each other about how disgusting the pool was so I still yet hadn't looked at the pool but said quiet for I needed to assess what they were so upset about I walk over to the pool look into and I have never seen a pool at motel so unmaintained and it was not suitable for anyone to be in it was filthy all the covers to the drains were not on the drains but off of them there was so much hair in the pool that there were literally handfuls not to mention the filth I couldn't tell what it was. The whole pool was disgusting and the hot tub . So I tell my kids to rinse off in the stall they have to rinse off in the pool room and my 13yr old daughter screams cause the water was so hot it hurt her. So we are all going back to our room so they can clean up we get there my son shows me a cut on his hand from something his head touched when he got in . That was the last straw and me and my children walked out I figured it was best if I just took the loss of money

Has great pool

The room was not clean. The toilet was dirty. The carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed, just the center path. The coffee maker was missing pieces. The grab bar in the tub was missing, yet there was hardware for one. The towel rack was not fully fastened to the wall. One of the bedside lamps had no switch. Outside there were cigarette butts near the entrances. The breakfast room was clean, but the food was less than desirable.

Place smelt bad my room was dirty no pop machine tv channels were horrible

1st floor rooms are in "basement" - dark and musty. Rooms need a good deep clean ... dust and dirt in many places, mold on sink, hair in shower, ripped bedding. No shower or floor mat and tub is very slippery. No notice of hold for "incidentals", and no elevator. In room coffee pot was not clean. Food was empty and not refilled at breakfast.

The hotel was dirty and unkept. The first room had soaking wet carpet and smelled moldy. The bathroom was old and unclean along with the rest of the room. There were two separate domestic disturbance incidents in the parking lot where the police had to come. The breakfast looked like war rations from a century ago.

Our beds & bathroom were clean and very nice staff! Some of the things in the room, not so much. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be working very well and when we went to clean the filter, the whole front part of the AC was so full of dust and lint I had to take everything to the bathtub and clean it. I would have vacuumed the vents if I had a vacuum or ever saw staff in the hallway. The vent in the bathroom definitely needed vacuuming and the lampshades were just covered in dust. The rest of the room was wonderful! The staff couldn’t have been nicer and breakfast was superb. I would still stay again, but I would ask them to check those things before I arrived.

Absolutely filthy! Beer bottles under the bed. Stains on the pillow. Dust all over the room. Tub had so much grime in it. I stay in hotels every week and this was one of the worst I have stayed in. I would never recommend staying at this place.

Room was clean but the carpet on the floor definitely needs to be replaced. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice touch!

The bathroom was not clean. The toilet had been used and not wven flushed let alone cleaned. There was hair in the shower.

The check in staff was welcoming, funny and gave us a great first impression. Easy parking and the room was clean.

Stayed on the lower floor , rooms above had creaky floors and and stomping all night long. Could hear teens up all night talking next door. Luckily could not hear the traffic too.

A/C worked great, Would get the room cold if desired. Bed was comfy. Well lit bath/sink area. Had to fix the toilet handle so it would flush. Wish the sleep button on the TV remote worked.

Staff was nice but room was outdated. Leather Desk chair is shredded. Toilet looks dirty & hair in the tub.

The hotel itself doesn’t look too bad but the room that we stayed in was horrible. Poorly maintained with a dingy looking basement. The other issue was around noise in the hotel and very little sound-proofing between rooms and floors. Will never be going back and will not recommend it to anyone else.

CDA is a serene, beautiful small city. Baymont located in a mixed commercial-residential area that is surprisingly quiet. It is also across the street from a cemetery - which we did not mind. Enthusiastic, welcoming, knowledgeable desk staff helped us get situated. Huge rooms - ours had a kitchen suite. Only 2 complaints: (1) kitchen sink was clogged and drained very slowly, and (2) AC unit rattled very loudly when running. We informed the desk staff he next morning.

Large spacious rooms - very comfortable!

Next to the freeway and right up the street leading downtown. The rooms are very dated but clean. Breakfast was ok. Could use more options. Overall it was a good experience.

Tv operation was a little wonky

It was nice and the room was very big, but it looked like it was designed in the 80s and never updated. There were wood planks on the outside of the hot tub, the tub itself wasn't cleaned very well from the last time it was used, the tiles around the tub were cracked/chipped. There was a large opening on the bottom of the door that let light through and the walls were very thin. The place was fine and the people were very nice, it's just not the place we want for a big fancy room.

Was a nightmare just getting the room as I had to put money down to keep the room. The front office guy was very rude I would like to know what happened to save a room with a card and pay when u get there? That is what I was going to do but the front office guy told me I had 30 minutes to get at least half of it in my account and at that time I was no where near my home or a place where I could get money in my account. Won’t be staying there again as there was no laundry and no extra towels until just before we left.

This place is awful. The owner/manager let himself into our hotel room while my daughter was in there sleeping. I double lock all doors and sleep between her and the door, so she was safe, but a less protective parent could have woke up to a strange old man in the room. I went to the desk later to complain and the same man yelled and cursed at me and called me and idiot and a liar. He was terribly rude to me after being called out for wrongly entering our room.

Called the hotel earlier in the day to let them know I would be checking in late, as my flight did not get in till 11:30pm. Upon arrival, the lady at the front said they sold my room even though I already paid for the visit in full. You can imagine my frustration after a long travel day- but the lady was very helpful and even wrote down her recommendations for the area. Had no other issues while we stayed.

The customer service was top notch! Very friendly, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was the usual to expect and that was okay with us. The beds are comfortable at least our room. Close to everything, good location! The plug ins wouldnt hold our chargers they just fell out, so i asked for a powerstrip and it was provided for my family to charge devices and my cpap machine. Also got to check in early, if they can get you in they will. 4.2 stars really.

Obvious staffing shortage which led to delay in getting my room and a sparse breakfast as the front desk clerk was also in charge of breakfast.

The front desk agent was extremely helpful and accomodating.

The check in was fine and the person at the front desk was polite and helpful. After that it went downhill. Apparently you needed to request room cleaning and even when we did for our second night the towels were replaced and garbage can liners but that was it. The beds weren’t even made, much less clean sheets as we requested. The coffee pot and hair dryer kept blowing the outlet so they were useless and when we told the older gentleman, who said he was the manager, he was rude and unhelpful. When we went swimming the pool was dirty and when we asked for towels he got angry when we took 4 instead of two in order to replenish the towels that weren’t replaced in the room. As we were loading up to go home another guest shared their same experience. I will never stay here and would highly recommend no one else does either. We also requested the owner’s name to discuss a resolution and we’re told there was no owner. When I also mentioned a monetary adjustment I was told they couldn’t do that because I had prepaid on Expedia.

What's weird is we stayed here twice. Once on 6/1 and another time about a week later. The first time on 6/1 was excellent ... lobby staff was great and very personable. Parking for the motorcycles was in front of the lobby undercover due to rain. The room was good and beds okay (I slept well). Breakfast was typical hotel fare but got us started for the day. Their complimentary coffee was also excellent. The second time we stayed at this same property was the opposite experience. Lobby staff were disinterested and didn't appear to care that we were there, our room had a stopped up toilet that seemed to take forever to get fixed, the manager (I think) kept running outside yelling at a gardener, ad nauseum. Safe to say I cannot recommend this property.

Upon checking in the staff was very uneducated around service animals. I was asked my disability. I was told my animal was an emotional support animal. She is not!! She is a registered service dog! I was told multiple times I needed an identification tag on her showing she was a service dog. I do not have to have a tag on her nor show her identification card. I felt very discriminated against. The staff member acted as if he knew more about the law than I, repeatedly telling me instead of asking the correct questions. I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying with a service animal. I can only hope the hotel will educate themselves and staff properly on the laws surrounding service animals.

It was close enough to walk to the busy end of the street, but far away enough that there was virtually no noise. The room had an amazing bathroom and kitchenette.

I had a great stay at the Baymont. It's an older hotel and definitely needs some updates but my room was very spacious, the front desk staff was so helpful every time I had questions, the breakfast was not the best but it was at least there and free, and it was a quick 3 minute drive to the downtown. And the price was great! I would definitely stay here again!

Great proximity to freeway, quiet

Easy access to Lakes, Hiking, Freeway, Diverse food options. Front desk was friendly and inviting. The price of my room was very affordable.

The breakfast was lacking the day we were there. They had run out of scrambled eggs and sausages and no one was around to take care of the quests.

Breakfast was good, the server made sure always clean and food was hot when it should be, frontcdesk people were great, especially the nice lady, no maid service, but we made it through

The breakfast they offer was terrible. Powder eggs no bagels bacon just precooked sausage and bread no cereals all and cheap and horrible

Clean comfortable king size bed. Very quiet. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Good coffee and continental breakfast. We liked the waffle with maple syrup. Parking right outside the door. Easy access to downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Breakfast could use a little help, very basic and nothing that you can’t get at any other continental breakfast.

Got tired of eating the same dry hot food every day.

breakfast ends at 9 AM officially but the refills for breakfast items stopped around 830 AM which was a bummer. Average breakfast and short staffed. Location is excellent. will prefer to stay at much better locations which have better service and breakfast amenities for the price paid.

We had to wait about half an hour past the 3pm check-in time because the room wasn't ready. I had to clean the tub before I got in because there was some type of bath oil residue left there from the last person who used it. The cleaning staff seemed to be short handed and just recovering from a very busy weekend. Even though, just because we arrived on a Monday doesn't mean we shouldn't expect the same service we would get on a weekend. The "breakfast" was subpar. We are vegans and while we didn't expect anything different than the usual eggs and sausage, a bagel or English muffin would have been nice. Some peanut butter at least. All there was for us to eat was bread and jelly and juice. Luckily, we brought our own food, expecting we wouldn't be eating at the buffet. The pool was nice, but the room smelled musty and moldy. I was disappointed that the windows wouldn't open even a crack for fresh air in our room. It was lovely outdoors, but we had to have the ac on so we wouldn't suffocate. The jetted tub was nice to have, but sounded like a jet taking off. Even the one in the next room. The toilet didn't have a very strong flush and made my husband nervous to use it. We had a bad experience with an overflowing toilet in a different hotel a few years ago. Maybe having a plunger in the room would be a good idea. It would have been nice to have had a comfy chair to sit in and watch TV, but the corner of the room was empty right where a chair should be. I had to wonder why.
